the miserable life of a miserable teenager
Chapter uphill battle
Don’t need to remind you how hard it gets. I let my head be consumed with the idea, my misery would never end.
Sitting there everyday wondering what I was fighting for.
However, that feeling I get when I know I’ve overcome a huge mental challenge that has held me back.
For example, getting a job improved my social anxiety a ton, by getting used to customer interactions.
When I realised I could walk up to a store clerk and just ask a question, I felt an applause.
There are small victories and big defeats. Until one day, you get the trophy. Fix the imbalance.
Though it doesn’t seem like it now,
it is possible.
I am not destined to die alone.
It’s a tiring uphill battle,
but we will be alright.
