The Millionaire And His Billionaire Ex-Wife

Chapter 3

Chapter 3
“Mr. Smith said that you can choose not to go back now, but you have to accept the management rights of the Smith Group’s
Angle Group in Frant City, and the profits of the group this year must be five percent higher than that of the last year.”
“He also said that if you refuse to accept it, the Fallen Group might end up miserably.”
Grace silently gritted her teeth.
Before Old Mr. Fallen died, Grace had promised him that she would manage the Fallen Group well for him, so she couldn’t allow
the Fallen Group to collapse.
“Dad knows clearly about my soft underbelly, but he does not attack it and force me to go home. Instead, he only asks me to
take over the Angle Group.
What is he going to do?” Grace thought in confusion.
“Alright, deal!”
Grace took the pen, signed her name, and took the VIP black card with a deposit of 5 billion dollars.
Looking at the dark golden card, she shook her head with a helpless smile.
A few minutes ago, she was so poor that she only had ten dollars, not even enough for hailing a taxi.
Could it be that she luckily acquired sudden wealth?
The agreement with her father provided that her bank account had been frozen and she must hide her real identity.
Before the divorce, Grace’s mother-in-law and aunt-in-law hated the poor and fawned over the rich. They never took Grace
seriously.
If they knew that Grace was actually Grace Smith, the youngest daughter of the Smith family, the richest one in the country and
that she was a super-rich woman with a net worth of billions of dollars, how surprised they would be?
She remembered that before she regained her memory, her good friend in the orphanage was dying. She knelt down and
kowtowed, begging her mother-in-law, Yvonne Fallen, to lend her money.

Yvonne proudly took out a platinum card but did not hand it to her. Instead, she showed it off. “Guess how much money is in it?
200,000 dollars. You have never seen so much money, have you?”
“But even if I use it to buy dog food, I won’t lend you a penny! Your poor friend is nothing compared to my dog.”
At the thought of it, Grace clenched her fists, a hint of mockery flashing across her eyes. She would like to teach these two
snobs a lesson and vent her anger if she had the chance!
While Grace was immersed in her thoughts, someone unexpectedly grabbed her wrist from behind.

Grace turned around, only to see her previous mother-in-law, Yvonne Fallen.
Yvonne was holding her chin high with a dissatisfied expression. Behind her were several rich ladies with multiple shopping bags
in their hands. It seemed that they had just finished shopping.
Grace quietly slid the black card into her bag and asked coldly, “What’s the matter?”
Yvonne paused at first, surprised at Grace’s indifference. In the past, Grace had been cowardly when facing Yvonne.
“Who allowed you to make a fool of yourself? Have you finished the housework? Have you cooked lunch? If you starve my son,
I’ll skin you alive!”
“Look at your ugly clothes! You’ve been Mrs. Fallen for a few years, but you are still ragged. What a shame! Get back home right
now!”
“Make a fool of myself?”
Grace burst into laughter as if she had heard the funniest joke in the world. “After I married into the Fallen family, you deliberately
fired the servan t s in the villa, forced me to quit my job, wash clothes, cook for your son, and be a good wife. I did it, but were
you satisfied?”
“No, you went even further. You accused me of stealing your jewelry and took the opportunity to confiscate the shares that Old
Mr. Fallen gave me. You even forced me to kneel in the heavy rain as a punishment. Have you forgotten all of this?”

The ladies behind Yvonne tutted. They had heard that Yvonne had been mean to her daughter-in-law, but they didn’t expect her
to be so mad.
Aware that the tension between Yvonne and Grace reached boiling point, the ladies found excuses to leave one after another.
“What, what nonsense are you talking about?”
Yvonne had planned to interrupt Grace several times, but she failed because of Grace’s interminable complaint.
“You know very well whether I’m talking nonsense.”
Grace raised her chin proudly and said with a sharp look, “I’ve tolerated you in the past. If you provoke me again, I’ll make you
pay double!”
