The Maiden and The Four Waters

Walla smiled in Mariana’s arms as the two young woman floated through the hall of the underwater building.

Walla allowed herself to take in the sight of the building, the way Anigozanthos manglesii twisted it’s way along the walls, the way the stems and the flowers appeared randomly along the walls.

The way various little fish swam their way throughout the building, the way the sharks stopped at the cut outs of the windows. The way the curtains for doors swayed amongst the current of the water.
