The Luna's Hidden Destiny

I walked hand in hand towards the holding cells with my mate. The tension growing thicker with each step as I could sense Alpha Ozzy from here. I don’t know if it’s from being a descendant of the moon goddess or the fact that he had hurt my mate but either way, I knew he was just behind these doers and Calypso was ready and waiting.

‘You ready baby?

Rowan linked, his hand squeezing my own as we stepped into the building. Our warriors all bowing and showing their respect as they looked toward Rowan with awe. Not many have seen his healed eye yet, so to say some were surprised is an understatement.

“Alpha, Luna, they are ready for you in holding cell two.” Our guard Adrian informed us before bowing deeply.

“Thank you Adrian.” Rowan responded firmly, his stance strong and his alpha presence pulsing off of him. Bain was ready to make a point, he wanted to show Ozzy just who he messed with.

We continued down the halls, the sound of our steps echoing off the walls as a deadly silence surrounded us. I could feel that anger simmering deep inside of me. I knew Calypso was trying to contain it…knowing what type of power escaped us before…We didn’t want a repeat of that. We didn’t want to hurt anyone else by accident and honestly, that was a big fear of mine. Rowan and Sadie were lucky enough to escape whatever happened before. but this’ time we would all be in one small room together.so I knew there was a big chance that if I lost control it could end up bad

Turning the corner, we were now closing in on the room as I saw Sadie waiting outside. her head turned towards me as our eyes connected.

‘He is ready!

She linked, making me nod once as Rowan continued to grip my hand and walk us to the room.

‘Baby, if at any point this is too much for you, you let me know okay?’

His words were gentle and nuturing as he suddenly came to an abrupt stop and turned me to face him.

‘We are in this together.’

He reminded me as I nodded my head and reached up to give hire a k**s..a k**s that was so sweet and full of love that it made my stomach. flip as I gazed up into his blue and silver eyes.

“Together always.’

I confirmed, knowing there is no one else I would ever want to share this life with all the good and bad no matter what Rowan was it for me.

“Let’s go.” I declared, turning towards where Sadie stood and watching as she opened the door.

Inside were Tristan, Blake, and Lottie on one side and then John and Dan on the other where they stood watch.

“Alpha, Luna, everything has been all test up.” Tristan confirmed as we walked in with Sadie right behind.

We stood before a chained-up Ozzy with a black cloth bag over his head. His clothes were gone and bruises already littered his torso and arms.

Rowan gave the nod of approval as Tristan reached forward, ripping the bag off of Ozzy’s head and revealing a battered face. The look in Ozzy’s eyes was one I had seen before..it was full of pure arrogance.

“Amelia, I knew you would come sweetheart.” His raspy voice filled the room, making Rowan shift on his feet as he clenched his hands into fists. I could feel his patience already growing thin.

Before anyone else could speak, Ozzy turned his gaze towards Rowan before letting out a deep chuckle.

“I see Amelia couldn’t stand looking at that face for too long.” Ozzy scoffed, making my anger spike as I narrowed my eyes at him, feeling the urge to punch him in his damn face.

“Just imagine how disgusted she will be after we are done with you.” Lottie chimed in, smiling brightly as she took a step closer to me and gripped my hand, showing me that I had her support as well.

“Am I truly that big of a threat to you all? I honestly was disappointed… thought the great Alpha Rowan would put up more of a fight. isn’t it quite sad that the mate to a goddess is so weak.” He continued and I couldn’t hold it in anymore, I charged forward, my hand flying out as I slapped Ozzy hard on the cheek, making him laugh even louder. what a freaking psycho!

Rowan reached out, gripping my sides as he held me protectively.

‘Baby he is trying to get a rise out of you. Remember, we have to be in control’

He reminded me, causing me to let out a deep long breath.

“Who else have you told about what Mila is.” Tristan asked, his stance laid back and carefree.

“Who else have I told? Hmm. guess that’s for me to know.and you to find out sooner than you think.” he grinned, earning a punch to the gut from Blake.

“Oh here comes little brother. you know I had a couple of plans for you..payback for what Rowan did to my brother. it was going to be real fun.” His smile widened even further, causing me to grind my teeth together as I felt Calypso getting more antsy by the second.

‘Mila baby, just breathe…

Rowan’s soothing voice filled me, making me nod slightly as I tried to focus on gaining control over this newfound power.

“Amelia, look at me, sweetheart. Can’t you see I am the best option for you? That our pups would be the strongest in this world.can Rowan really satisfy you.does he make you scream when he thrusts that excuse for a c**k between your. I didn’t even give him a chance to finish, my hand pressed against his throat as I stared up at him with pure hatred. I wanted him dead. I wanted him dead now.

Ozzy’s eyes widened, the feel of my claws pricking his flesh causing him to flinch as my fangs began to lower.

“Don’t ever speak about my mate like that again..or I will make your death far more painful than we already planned it to be.” I promised, feeling that power pulsing through my veins as it began seeping from my fingers and entered Ozzy’s body. his dark eyes widened in shock as strangled cries escaped his throat. His body thrashing as I felt my way through his body, that power traveling to his arm as I pictured it snapping, causing it to do just that right before my very eyes.

“Baby, it’s okay, it’s time to let him go okay?” Rowan spoke gently, his hands rubbing my back and causing me to loosen my grasp as I pulled whatever this power was that I had out of him.

Ozzy slumped forward, his arm bent awkwardly now as the bone protruded against the skin.

“F**k…you b***h! how could you do this to me!” He yelled, earning a punch from Tristan as he reached over and gripped the bone that began poking through his skin, causing him to cry out once more.

“Don’t you dare speak to our Luna like that? Have you no respect? Now, we want names, who have you told about Mila.” Tristan began, still gripping the bone as Rowan wrapped his arm around my waist protectively.

“f**k! Fine just just st stop.” He choked out, his body trembling as sweat began to drip from his brow.

“I have a friend, he helped me out to take over the Howling cave pack and shit. won’t give you a name unless you spare me.” He stupidly said, making Rowan, Tristan, and Blake all share a look.

“I guess you and that brother of yours weren’t so different after all,” Tristan laughed before nodding to Sadie, who had the most wicked grin on her face. Dang. she is even freaking me out.

“I think my lovely mate can change your mind.” Tristan smiled, his hands crossing in front of his chest before glancing at Blake with excitement. Blake looked pale. Like he already knew what was about to happen or something

“Your brother once threatened our Luna, saying he would skin our Alpha and wear his pelt. Well, sadly we never got that far with the so-called rogue king. but hey, maybe we will this time.” Tristan said enthusiastically as Sadie walked over with a black bag. Her hands were graceful as she pulled out a few knives before placing them on the table before her. It was hard not to watch with awe. The way she handled the blades was almost like an elegant dance.

“Fine!! I will tell you..but I want to be kept alive.” he tried to bargain again, making Rowan speak up now.

“Why would we do that, Ozzy?” Rowan asked curiously, making Ozzy smile once again.

“Because what I am about to tell you might just save your lives..” Ozzy’s eyes flashed to me once more, the look in them making my skin crawl as I glanced up at Rowan. What could he possibly have to tell us? What threat could be out there that would make us want to keep Ozzy alive…
