The Luna’s Hidden Destiny – Chapter 25

Coming back to the cabin I began packing up. Those warriors were all around these woods, trying to find my scent but continuing to lose it. I was pissed, that f*****g rogue ruined everything and then he had the audacity to come back the other day..to talk to me about getting my daughter back. What a f*****g idiot. He wanted me to tell him where she was and to join an alliance. I gritted my teeth seeing this excuse of a man act like he could have my Mila.
He even asked me to sway her to become his mate. I almost ripped his f*****g throat out right there. He definitely was bold. I acted like I was interested, just to get him off of my back. The black magic I put around the house obviously didn’t affect him, considering he had his own dark witch helping him. At least the cabin was hidden from those warriors. I needed to come up with my plan, maybe Mila was actually thriving in a pack. The mere thought made me furious. My girl living without me, experiencing new things..what if someone tried to claim her. Lucius growled angrily, pacing in my mind from the mere thought.
‘No one can have our pup. No one is good enough.’
He snarled, my hand gripped a glass off of the table and threw it against the wall. Shattering it into millions of pieces.
‘I would kill anyone who puts their hands on my girl.’

We made our way up to my office and I showed Mila around. Seeing her eyes go wide with excitement never gets old. She was so new to all of this and even a stapler was a weird concept to her..it was f*****g adorable. I could tell my mom was pissed that I wasn’t letting Mila spend time with her, but I wasn’t ready yet. I needed my mate with me, or I knew for a fact I would be miserable to be around. She plopped into the chair across from me, excitement filling her as her big emerald eyes absorbed everything.
My dad pretty much handled all of the Alpha stuff while I was out and there was nothing much to catch up on. I began checking my email and discreetly watched how my dad began showing Mila how to turn on her new phone. I couldn’t help the stupid a*s grin that filled my face as I peered up at her. Every sound or beep caused her to gasp as she looked over at my dad to make sure she was doing it right.
He was completely taken with her, I could tell by the way he spoke to her and his gentle smile and mannerisms. My dad wasn’t always the warmest towards people, don’t get me wrong he was with us and loved his family deeply but beyond that, he was the strong Alpha who needed to keep the image up. Since retiring I noticed him opening up more and becoming more social and relaxed. He was a great dad, but seeing him now with Mila, and the way he helped her patiently. I couldn’t help but feel proud of my mate, that everyone around her seemed to love her from the moment they met her.
“Here, you can text Blake, send him one of these.” He said, pointing to something on the phone.
Mila burst out laughing, looking down at the phone as she held it up for me.
“Look, it’s a cat playing a piano.” She laughed, sending the gif to my brother. My dad couldn’t help but laugh as he watched Mila look through all of the gifs and point to her favorites. Which mostly consisted of animals doing funny things.
“Can I send this one to Tristan? It reminds me of him.” She said, showing my dad one of the gifs. A loud laugh left him as he looked at it.
“Which one?” I asked curiously while typing up an email.
She flipped the phone around, showing me a grumpy cat blinking slowly. I laughed and nodded my head.
“Yeah, that’s definitely him.” I mumbled before glancing back at my work, she nodded and sent it immediately.
“So that’s basically it, there are some games and stuff you can get but we can wait to do that until later.” He added looking down at the phone.
“What’s this one?” Mila asked while clicking something.
“Oh that’s the camera, you can take pictures..see.” he helped her lift the phone, pointed straight at me. She clicked it quickly and looked down at the phone lovingly. F**k my heart…she was absolutely precious.
Then she held it up again, obviously finding the front-facing camera as she leaned into my dad. He swiftly held up a peace sigh and I shook my head watching them as they took a few more pictures.
“Send that one to me please.” He pointed down at the camera and she nodded. Trying to figure it out as her brow furrowed. It was even cuter than when she scrunched up her nose.
Just then a knock sounded at the door and Blake popped his head into my office.
“Who taught Mila to text and why are they only pictures of cats.” He smirked looking at Mila as she smiled guiltily.
“They’re so cute.” She squeaked causing me to giggle..actually f*****g giggle..what was wrong with me. My dad and Blake both exchanged looks and burst out laughing. Mila looked around confused and I cleared my throat.
“Don’t you two have something you should be doing..” I grumbled, and my dad stood up, dusting off his pants as he looked at Mila.
“Just text me when you get too bored.” He whispered winking at her and left the room.
“Come on Blake, let’s go make fun of your brother in your office.” He said loudly so I could hear. I stood up, stomped toward the door, and shut it swiftly. The real reason I wanted them to leave wasn’t because they were annoying me, it was because I needed to bury my c**k inside of my mate right at this very moment, or I just might die.
