The Love Pact

Chapter 11 Never Admit The Reason

Liam downed his drink as he wait for his friends. He saw Sophia enter the bar's doors and he stood up to leave but the lady got to him fast. He looked at Sophia's body and he can't help but compare it to Louis' small and curvy one. Sophia looked at Liam seductively but all he could see is Louis' gorgeous cerulean eyes, nose and cheekbones. Sophia licked her lips and Liam stared at it, seeing Louis' thin but plump pink lips in his mind. His eyes trailed to Sophia's skin and he wondered how would it feel like to touch Louis. Every. Part. Of. Him.

The lady in front of him trailed her fingers along the collar of Liam's dress shirt. And Liam thought about Louis' sweet and intoxicating scent and the warmth from Louis' body. And how Louis' touch would feel.

Sophia took a hold of Liam's hand and guided it to place on her waist. Liam thought about Louis' small waist. He dreamed about what would Louis' skin look like if he suck on it.

Liam had always been with sophisticated people, but they never interest or attracted him enough. He felt nothing for them. Louis looked more like a child: petite, small, innocent. He's demanding, he's stubborn, he's nosy, he's annoyingly straight-laced, he's- he's.. he's Louis... Shit.

Liam shut his eyes tightly and removed his hands from Sophia's grasp.

Damn it. He held his head. Louis, Louis, Louis. He gritted his teeth.

"What's wrong, Liam?" He heard Sophia asked. And he thought of Louis' angelic voice and how good it would sound if Louis were to moan his name.

Sophia held his hands again and placed it on her body as she leaned forward and kissed his neck. Liam tried to put his attention to what the woman is doing and let himself feel the sensation it brings. But to his utter dismay, all he could think of at that moment was that Louis would probably never touch or kiss him like this. Liam can't help but laugh sarcastically to himself.

Oh yeah, all of this is really funny... if only this is not happening to him.

He shook his head.

"Sophia, I'm sorry. I can't do this. I was waiting for my friends. I never thought I'd see you here." He snatched his hands from Sophia's body and leaned back to detach her lips from his neck. "W-what do you mean?" She confusedly looked at him. "What's the meaning of this?"

Yeah. That's also my question. He sarcastically smiled at himself. Although he had an idea as to what is the answer to that question, he would rather die first than to admit the reason.

These last seven days that he had not seen Louis, he feels like going insane. Everywhere he look, he remembers Louis. When he's buying groceries, he remembers him. When he reads the newspaper and see news about abandoned children or employee mistreatment cases, he remembers him. Even just by seeing a tea. Somehow, one way or another, Louis always get entangled with the electrical waves in his brain.

Liam sighed as he massaged his forehead.

No. He would never admit the reason. Definitely not.

He even tried to get on with a boy just to get Louis out of his head, thinking and hoping that maybe, he just feels like this because Louis was the only boy who ever got to him this close. But to no avail.

He would never admit the reason as to why everytime he tries to be with other people these past few days, he always notice their differences or similarities to Louis... and thus ruining everything. He would stop or worse, he would not even let the woman or the man he's with to touch him.. because he could not stand the reverberating thoughts of Louis swirling madly in his head.

No way in hell would he ever admit the reason behind that.

"I'm really sorry, Sophia. You don't have to be so attached to me, you know. Nothing happened between us. Yes we fooled with each other once but we were just handsy and nothing more. It was just a one-time thing and I don't plan to repeat that. I have to go now." He said to her.

"Wait!"

He ignored her and went out of the bar.

He went to the parking lot and entered his car, just sitting at the driver's seat. He leaned his forehead over the steering wheel. What should he do? In his intention to save himself, he decided not to see Louis. But since that day he left him at the hospital, he's been in torture mode for a week.

He heard his phone ring. He took it out of his pocket and saw Mark Tomlinson's name on the caller id. He suddenly felt nervous. It was already past twelve midnight, why would the old man call him at this time? "Uncle." He answered him.

"Liam, I'm sorry to bother you this late, but can I ask you a favor? It's Louis-"

"What happened to Lou?" He blurted out before he could even stop himself.

"No, no, it's not like that. He's still at the office; finishing some work. I was just a little worried. It's already late and he didn't bring his car. So if it isn't a bother to you, can you please pick him up?" Liam won't admit it, but his heartbeat really increased. "Sure, Uncle." He managed to say calmly.

"Thank you, Son. I really appreciate it. I can finally breath okay now knowing that someone trustworthy is with him. These past few days, he seems a little tired and weak. He also had tons of work." "It's okay, Uncle."

"Thank you again, Liam." Then they ended the call.

The second he pressed the end call button of his phone, he felt his blood rushing in his body.

He was going to see him!

Of course, he's just doing it to help Mark Tomlinson, so this cannot be counted as bypassing his Rule # 1, which was to avoid seeing Louis William Tomlinson.

Besides, it's already really late and Louis had an injury so it's only right that someone pick her up. It was not like he was excited to see the woman or something. No, definitely not.

He quickly started his car and immediately drove away.
