The Last White Wolf

Aphrodite POV

11:25 am My office door burst open when Sidney abruptly entered. Her eyes are looking wild, her cheeks are flushed, and she was breathing heavily, probably from running. “This is highly inappropriate Sidney!” I sternly said placing my phone down on my desk. “M-my apologies my l-luna… B-but this is an emergency!” she almost cried closing the door behind her. “Well, then you have my full attention now,” I said, and she stood near my desk looking pale. “Don’t keep me waiting, Sidney… What is so urgent?” I asked my irritation already clear in my voice. “L-luna,” she said swallowing hard “I-I uh saw A-alpha Ares and Beta Apollo running out of the Alpha’s office f-followed by uh y-your mate and a u-unfamiliar male…” she said with a shaky voice. Chills travelled down my spine. Why are they all together? Who might the male be? There is no way that bastard mutt will enter MY territory….

“L-luna, I followed them upstairs to A-alpha Ares’ bedroom… They are looking for uh Alpha Ares’ mate… A-and they mentioned something uh about…” she swallowed hard again “i-imprisoning you, my luna…” she gulped.

It felt like the temperature dropped drastically in my office… like this situation has frozen my body, while my mind raced for solutions… for escape plans…

“M-my uhm luna? W-what are we going to do?” Sidney asked. I took a deep breath, standing up from my chair. I straightened out my skirt before walking over to Sidney, who was now shaking, with tears running down her red, flushed cheeks. “Breath my dear” I urged her with a friendly smile, placing my hands gently on her shoulders “Everything will be fine.” Sidney stopped sobbing, giving me a small smile “O-okay my l-luna” she said, her voice still a bit shaky. “You have done a wonderful job, my dear, thank you for all your help,” I said while placing my hands around her neck and snapping it. I took a step back and watched her limp body falling to the ground with a thumb. I quickly turned around and moved back to my desk grabbing my phone.

Dialling Madeline’s number and waiting for her answer, “Luna?” her voice filled into my ear, “Have you made it out of the territory with the package?” I asked her “Yes luna, still about 40 minutes before we arrive at the cabin. Is everything okay?” “We have been compromised. I will be leaving soon. Abaddon will be waiting for you. And you won’t be able to contact me, I’m destroying my phone, I advise you do the same.” “Yes, luna,” she said hanging up.

I crushed my phone with my hands and grabbed the small black bag, I have hidden in my office. I sprayed myself with scent masking spray I have created, so they won’t be able to follow me. Shifting into my wolf I jumped through my office window.

I have planned escape routes for these types of situations. The guards will not even know I left the territory.

12:30 pm

After running at full speed, I finally arrived at the hidden cabin. I was panting from all the running, but I have made it safely, without anyone noticing me.

I stood behind the trees, observing the cabin. Two cars are parked behind the cabin, probably Madeline and my fathers’ cars. Sniffing the air, taking in all the scents, only picking up the three wolves inside the cabin and the nature surrounding us.

Shifting into my human form and dressing quickly in clothes I have packed in my small bag. I approached the cabin only for the door to open revealing my father…

Abaddon…

“Hello daughter” his dead orotund voice filled my ears, making me shiver a bit. When my father spoke, you can sense no emotion, only a shiver of coldness overcomes you. “Father” I greeted back entering the darkened cabin.

“Sources told me that you have created quite a mess in The Royal Silver Moon Pack,” my father remarked coldly “It is all temporary… Soon everything will be under control” I explained. “I hope so for your sake. You have four angry Alphas out for your head and that is not including your daughter, Athena.” “That mutt is NOT an Alpha!” I scoffed “You are still acting like a spoiled brat. I would have thought you have outgrown this childish behaviour.” He stopped giving me a cold look. “His father is an Alpha, so that makes him an Alpha.” “My sons will not harm me… I have control of Apollo’s mind!” “Apollo” my father laughed coldly “He is the mutt who told them about your plans, Aphrodite! And after this Ares will surely have your head if he ever finds you.” He thundered. No… this can’t be… “Well at least you did one thing right.” my father said moving towards the back of the cabin “You have at least successfully captured the last white wolf,” he said smiling evilly while pointing to an unconscious Thalia, who is tied up with silver chains to a wooden chair.
