– Aline didn’t know her son had a young girl so close to him.

In the background, Aline’s frown deepened. She clearly didn’t approve of Madeline’s behavior. She said, “Regardless, Regina is
your sister. It’s not right to speak ill of her and your future brother-in-law behind their backs. If I were you, I’d leave this office right

Nolan looked at his mother in surprise. It was the first time he heard his mom speak with such sternness to someone else. It
seemed she really disapproved of Madeline’s tactics.
