Eira ( S n o w )

My headache was long gone and now I stared with an open mouth at Klepto.

Why do you ask?

Well, how could a rogue break into my room so easily?

What were my guards doing?

"How- Why are you here?" I mean, of course, it was not hard to locate a pack where an Alpha was a female.

"You hurt me, can I not even visit you in your . . . Crucial time." I wrinkle my nose as she shakes her head.

"You know what, I am so glad that I don't have a mate-"

"Yet," I say and she shrugs. She looks around my room and then suddenly her eyes shine.

"Shiny!" She mutters and skips around the room to the object that was placed on my dresser. It was a pin that I had gotten as a gift from one of the neighboring packs.

I sigh.

She looks at me with wide eyes and a toothy grin,

"Can I?" She wanted to have it . . . And I had no problem with it. I owed her anyway.

"Sure," I mutter and close my eyes.

"Just go before anyone sees you." I don't hear a reply and then I open my eyes to see her sniffing the air.

I hope my head doesn't start to hurt again soon.

"Did you perhaps got a new spray or something?" Klepto asked.

"No, Why?"

"The last time I was her-"

"You've been here before?!" I ask baffled. What in the world were my guards doing?

"Yeah I mean, after our first meeting, I came here to see if you escaped or not. You were not here so I left." My eyes squint.

"How did you get in?"

"Your guards aren't really good at their job. They were so keen on catching me that they didn't realize when I directed them the wrong way by a little zigzag run." I sigh. Was that the reason why two of my strongest females were captured?

What should I do?

"Last time your room did not have any such smell, now it smells like wood and soil." I raise a brow and as the realization hits me, I smirk.

It could be possible that her mate would be running through this door this very instant.

Maybe give it a few seconds.

I was right.

The door snapped open, Klepto jumped towards me and ready to jump off the window but she was a tad bit slow.

She was pulled and her face was smacked into Avalon's chest.

"Didn't know that yet would be so soon," I murmur and notice Darius and another female that I have never seen before entering the room.

The new female smelled like a Lycan.

"Let me go!" My attention moves back to Klepto and Avalon, Klepto was struggling in his arms.

Footsteps run towards us and I notice that Gamma and Beta also had made their appearance.

"Sister!?"

"Hello, Brothers," Klepto mumbled.

Sister? Brother?

What the fuck was going on!?

I was too surprised to say anything, my throat felt clogged so I stayed quiet but I did see my Gamma and Beta looking at me.

The pin Klepto had clutched so tightly in her palm was now going toward Avalon's shoulder - it slammed so hard in his skin that it started to bleed instantly - the second his grip loosened, Klepto had flung herself out of the window.

"Avalon!" Darius snaps when Avalon makes a move to run after her.

"You cannot sto-"

"Go, bring your erasthai back. But return before tomorrow. You have a pack to pay your duties to." Avalon gave him a grateful look and jumped after Klepto.

"You guys want to expl-" I was about to complete my sentence when my words halted themselves and my eyes widened at the pain.

What time was it?

It couldn't be an hour already.

"We still have time! King, you have to take her somewhere else. A mile away from this place or her own packmates will not leave her without having their fill." The new female said but all I noticed was that There was time.

Darius growled and picked me up, all the while I felt eyes on me.

"Shit," I mumble as I felt another wave overwhelming me.

"I'll prepare some antidotes." The female said, maybe she was a doctor.

I closed my eyes, taking deep breaths.

I felt the air of night come at my face - Darius probably jumped out of the window.

"There is a shed - in the woods, nearby the spot from where you had taken me the first time," I say with a heaving breath. I don't get a reply and I wasn't looking forward to one.

I gave myself to the throbbing pain and probably blacked out.

When I opened my eyes next, it was bright outside. It was the next day.

What happened last night?

I sat up but an aching pain develop in my belly I clench my eyes shut.

I release a breath when the slight pain finally subsides and I look back up. I was in the shed.

There were vials on the ground and at some places, blood covered the ground.

What happened in here?

How long was I out?

I was just about to get out of bed but then the door of the shed opened and Darius stood there. He was wearing clothes - a Henley that was tight on his muscles and jeans.

His hair was disheveled and sticking out in a weird direction - even more than normal.

"I - What happe-"

"How are you feeling?" Darius cut me off immediately. It seemed as if he didn't want to talk about it. But I wanted to know.

"What happened after I blacked out?" I asked, completely ignoring his question. He didn't like it of course.

He growled lightly and ran a hand down his face.

"What are all these vials and bloo-"

"You have been out for three days. Our Lycan doctor prepared very strong vials for you and me. For you to sleep and for me to . . ." He did not complete it.

Of course. Just as much as it was painful for me, it was hard for him and his Lycan to stay back.

"What in the world!" I cover my forehead with my palm.

"Only two days left. Then we will go back and start the whole process that will go on till your next heat." Process, we would cut each other's hair.

No!

I cannot let that happen.

I immediately grasp my hair which was in a low ponytail.

"That's where you are wrong. I am not going anywhere nor am I doing any process. I belong here." I seethed out Darius in a flash, appear in front of me.

He grabbed my jaw and pulled my face forward.

"This place was never for you. It was for that Gamma of yours. He was supposed to be the Alpha, not you. You are supposed to be the queen of Lycans and there is nothing you can do to stop it. Understood!"

...

I know that the Beta and Gamma are mysterious - and there is a really good reason. Also, you must know that supernaturals can sense energies coming from each other - just like Darius knew that Gamma was supposed to be the Alpha.

Also, I am trying my best to update since my online classes started again from today - also, I know this chapter was trashy.
