The Hidden Gold Mine Heiress Divorcee

Chapter 329

Chapter 329

Destroying Him at All Costs

Oslosall because of orders from the Lewis family.

About half a year later, he met Livia.

It was winter when he met her.

It didn't snow much in winter in Japera City, but it was very strange that year. It snowed every now and then, so the whole Japera City was covered in snow. The roads were icy, so the driver drove very slowly at night.

On the way home from the company, Biber leaned back on the seat with his eyes closed to rest.

At a red light, he opened his eyes and saw a skinny little beggar rummaging through the trash cans on the side of the road in tattered and thin clothes.

The beggar was as thin as a piece of paper, which could be blown away by the wind.

Biber saw the bruises on her body, and on her exposed slender ankle, there was a thin red string tied with a yellow bell hanging from it.

It was the first time he had seen Livia.

There were countless beggars in a bustling metropolis like Japera City.

Most of them were not real beggars but frauds.

They often begged at subway entrances or crowded places.

In fact, they were just lazy and lived on other people's sympathy. Some of them even used disabled people to cheat people out of their money.

But few beggars rummaged through the trash cans for food like the little beggar.

Soon the light turned green, and the driver started the car and left the little bagger behind.

Biber didn't take the little beggar to heart either. He thought maybe those frauds came up with a new way to cheat people.

Later, he saw Livia in the group chat of his company.

Someone said in the group chat that a little beggar came to the door of the company and rummaged through trash

cans for food, and he even released a video.

Biber suddenly thought of the little beggar rummaging through trash cans in the snow, and he clicked on the video involuntarily. The little beggar in the video had her head down. Her hair was messy and covered most of her face, so Biber didn't see

her face.

But this time she was wearing a big gray padded jacket. The padded jacket was very dirty and too big on her.

Biber noticed the bell hanging from her exposed ankle.

She put everything she found in the trash cans in her pockets. When her pockets were full, she held the rest in her arms. Finally, she found a small hall box of leftover bread, and she opened it and put it in her mouth without thinking

about it.

People in the group chat talked about it.

Some people laughed and said that this beggar was good at acting.

Some people thought that she was disgusting and would get sick after eating it.

Some people wanted to call the police because she was likely to be lost.

Biber felt uncomfortable watching the video and didn't want to read their messages, so he threw his phone aside and continued to work restlessly.

Unexpectedly, a week later, in the villa complex where he lived, he saw Livia again.

She was beaten at his door by several little beggars, but she held on tightly to the thing in her arms and refused to let

1.

The bell hanging from her ankle jingled.

For some reason, Biber stepped forward and stopped them. After those little beggars left, he stepped forward to help Livia up.

She was badly injured and her forehead bled. Out of compassion, Biber took her home to treat her wound.

He asked her, "Where's your family?"

She said at the time, "I don't have a father, and my mother was killed by a car. I was abused in the orphanage, so I

escaped."

Later, he sent someone to investigate it and learned that she was indeed an orphan, and then he asked a couple to adopt Livia in their name. But in fact, Livia had been with him since then.

I had been many years. Today Livia had a car accident and suddenly mentioned it, so Biber recalled it.

When Biber came back to his senses, he noticed that Livia was in a bad mood.

He leaned over and hugged her. "It's all in the past. I will be with you, and you won't be bullied anymore."

Looking at the culprit who made her an orphan, Livia couldn't help sneering in her heart, but she didn't show it on

her face.

She just grasped Biber's big hand and asked coquettishly, "Biber, do you think the bad guy who killed my mother will be punished?" Biber comforted her, "Yes."

Livia looked into his eyes and suddenly laughed. "That's great. I hope the bad guy will get what's coming to him."

"Okay, it's getting late." Biber glanced at his watch and said softly, "You were frightened today. You must be exhausted. It's time to sleep."

"Will you stay with me?" Livia tightened her grip on his arm.

Biber was overwhelmed by her sweet voice and actions. Now that she was injured today, he coaxed her, "I will stay

with you for the next three days."

"What about three days later?" Livia calmed down and acted innocent and kind again.

Biber said in a soft voice, "You heard me on the phone. Boris asked me to go to Galia. I wanted to take you with me, but your leg is injured, and you can't walk now. It's dangerous in Galia. I will leave you in Japera City for your safety."

"Aren't you worried about me?" Livia asked, tilting her head.

Biber patted her head. "I arranged for a bodyguard to protect you. You can ask him for anything you want. I also arranged for two maids to take care of you. Don't worry. I will be back within half a month." Livia whispered, "Okay then, but what if your mother came to your house to mess with me while you were away?"

"I will remind her. Don't worry. She dare not."

Livia gave a smile. "Okay, then I will stay at home and wait for you."

"Hmm, close your eyes."

Livia put her arms around Biber and felt his warm body. She couldn't help being puzzled.

Biber was so gentle now. Why was he so cold-blooded and cruel in the past?

She would never forgive him and would destroy him even if she had to use herself as bait.

It was getting darker.

At nearly eleven o'clock at night, Donald drove a luxury car to the back door of the bar.

The alley at the back door of the bar was deep, winding, and dim. Only a few lights could be seen occasionally,

Ziana went to bed on time at nine o'clock every night and had never been to a bar.

Donald followed her, so he hadn't been to a bar either, but in his impression, the door of every bar should be colorful

and bright.

He looked out the window and asked suspiciously, "Mr. Lewis, are you sure it's here?"

"Hmm." Boris said flatly, "Stop the car."

Donald did as he was told. When the car stopped, a lean man walked out from the darkness.

He stepped forward to open the door for Boris. "Mr. Lewis."

Boris got out of the car, took out a cigarette, and lit it. When he put it in his mouth, the smoke covered his face.

He waved his hand at Donald and then said to Dunn, "Lead the way."

Neither of them spoke. They walked through the back door, and after a while, they heard deafening music and saw dazzling lights.

There were so many people on the dance floor, but no one noticed them.

Boris and Dunn went up to the second floor and entered a private room smoothly.

The room was surrounded by black privacy glass, and people outside couldn't see what was happening inside.

Dunn pulled out a chair, and when he sat down, Sean and several other guests from Coupling Reality Show were sitting on the table beneath his feet.
