The Guardian's Sword

The Guardian’s Sword By Talking Cigarette Chapter 1298

Chapter 1298
When Sean stayed silent, Wes looked at him with disdain. Besides that, he glanced at what Sean was
wearing.
Not a single piece of clothing was designer. It looked shabby to Wes.
In front of Sean, Wes’s sense of self–entitlement came pouring out.
He even regarded the phone Sean bought Caitlyn for 20,000 dollars as a joke where he pretended to be someone he was not.
“Let’s order!”
Wes was in a good mood and immediately opened the menu.
“Hey, bro, do you want this liquor?”
Wes asked with a straight face, pointing to the liquor section.
“You can’t afford it. Haha!”
Wes laughed before Sean could answer.
“Would you like to try this dish?”
Wes asked again, pointing to another expensive dish.
“I can’t afford it.”
Sean smiled indifferently and said.
“Hey, haha! Okay, let’s order it then.”
Wes froze and looked smugger.
“Young Master Jordan, we’re all friends. That’s enough.”
One of Caitlyn’s close female classmates said with a frown.

“What does this have to do with you?
“What’s the matter? Are you not allowing me to order? It doesn’t cost you any money.
“Waiter, give everyone a bottle of your best wine, and bring me all your best dishes.”
Wes closed the menu and said obnoxiously.
The waiter nearby froze before hurriedly nodding.
They met a big spender today!
“Bro, let’s go Dutch. Are you okay with that?
“After all, you already spent 20,000 dollars on a phone. This is nothing to you, right?”
Wes asked playfully, looking over at Sean.
“Well... We don’t have that much money on us!
“Yeah, maybe we’d better go.”
Wes finished speaking, and the other classmates turned pale.
The meal would probably cost tens of thousands of dollars when Wes ordered so much at one go.
The average person could not afford it.
“What’s the hurry? Sit down.
“Your expenses are all on me.
“Catie’s on me too, but this guy has nothing to do with me.”
Wes glanced around and pointed at the crowd before finally looking at Sean.
‘How dare he put on a show?”
“What do you think, bro?”

Wes asked with a sneer, looking at Sean.
“Okay.”
Sean nodded gently without changing his expression.
“Awesome!
“Serve the dishes!”
Wes clapped his hands instantly.
With that said, a dozen waiters filed into the private room.
Bottle after bottle of expensive liquor, foreign wines, and top–shelf wines were placed on the table.
One after another, dishes of delicious–looking fine cuisine were served.
The delicate plating and tempting embellishments made everyone dumbfounded:
The price of any dish might have exceeded the average person’s monthly salary!
Add in the expensive liquor, and the meal was worth over 100,000 dollars.
Some of the classmates there had gleeful looks on their faces, while others had complicated expressions.
Caitlyn regretted it. She should never have brought Sean to the class reunion.
Soon the dishes and drinks were served, and the table was full.
The private room was also all the more fragrant.
“Excuse me, sir.
“As your private room has a relatively large bill amount, you need to pay in advance.”
A waiter politely said to Wes, holding a long receipt.
“It’s no big deal. Are you afraid I can’t afford to pay?

“As long as there’s a price. How much is it?”
Wes asked as he opened the bag he carried around with him.
“296,000 dollars.”
The waiter replied with a smile, holding the receipt.
“How much?”
Wes’s palms quivered as he abruptly stopped taking his card.
“296,000 dollars, sir.
“I’ll charge you 293,000 dollars after the discount.”
The waiter bent over slightly as he repeated.
Swoosh!
Wes jumped to his feet, grabbed the receipt, and examined it.
It was clear that Wes’s hand was shaking as he held the receipt.
Sean glanced playfully at Wes.
“Open them.”
Sean gave the waiter a look.
The waiter immediately stepped forward and opened all the liquor bottles on the table.
“What the f*ck...”
Wes looked it over thoroughly.
There was nothing wrong with the receipt. He indeed ordered a lot. Besides that, they were the most expensive dishes
The food was expensive, and the liquor was priceless.

The vintage wines were even more valuable.
Drinks alone accounted for more than half of the 200,000 dollar bill.
“Sir?
“Are you paying by card or cash?”
The waiter called out softly as Wes was silent.
Sean could not help smiling.
Wes’s mouth moved as his face reddened.
He thought it would cost 50,000 dollars at most no matter how expensive a meal for a dozen people was.
Even if all he ordered was the most expensive food and drinks, it would only be 100,000 dollars tops.
With his family background, he could afford to spend 100,000 dollars on a meal.
However, this meal cost more than 200,000 dollars and was almost 300,000 dollars.
Forget about whether he could afford it. Even if he could afford it, his father would break his legs when he got home.
“Ahem... Well... Well...”
Wes slowly put down the receipt and glanced at the drinks and dishes on the table.
The food had already been served at this point and was not returnable.
The only thing he could return was probably the drinks.
However, Wes had just noticed then that all the bottles on the table were already opened.
He was so shocked that he did not even notice that Sean had asked someone to open the liquor bottles.
Since the liquor was already open, it was not refundable or returnable.
There was no way they could return or exchange the dishes or bottles, so he must pay the bill!

Wes’s heart was aching, and his facial muscles twitched.
He wanted to generously swipe his card and spend 300,000 dollars to perfect his show.
However, how could he come up with so much money right now?
“Ahem. Well, put it on my tab. I’ll come back this afternoon to pay for it.”
Wes coughed again and said to the waiter.
“I’m sorry, sir, but we don’t put tabs or delay payment.”
However, the waiter shook his head slightly. He did not even know who Wes was. How could he possibly put it on his tab?
