The Guardian's Sword

The Guardian’s Sword By Talking Cigarette Chapter 1174

Chapter 1174
There were many people in the venue.
Of course, it was nothing compared to the huge crowd outside.
However, all the people inside were big shots in River City!
Everyone was either an important government official or a big tycoon in River
City.
All in all, more than 90% of River City’s elites were there.
It included government officials, wealthy tycoons, and various affluent families in
River City.
The ceremony venue was quite simplistic.
It was only an open square with a huge stage at the front.
A long horizontal red banner was also hoisted above the stage.
These members of high society were used to upscale places. The banquets
they attended were also at fancy places.
They had hardly been to such an open–air place.
However, no one was upset. Instead, they felt a surge of pride to be there.
The specifications of the venue were not important. What mattered was who
was hosting the ceremony.
It was like how ministers would feel honored even if the king invited them to a
banquet at a junkyard.

They now recognized Reach For Will Group as the ruler of River City’s business
circle.
Therefore, no one was dissatisfied.
Round stools that cost at most dozens of dollars each were placed in rows were
the base of an exchange
summit.
The big shots in expensive suits and luxury watches sat on their stools and
talked. It looked like they were enjoying themselves.
The Quinn family also found a place to sit.
At least they did not have to stand like the regular people outside.
The thought made them feel much better.
Samuel thought he would use the summit to get to know some big shots.
However, he soon found that very few people wanted to talk to him.
Even some people who used to be close to the Quinn family only greeted them
politely without intending to talk much with them.
Samuel kept getting brushed off, so he could only walk back in disappointment.
“Old Madam, I want to kill Sean!”
Samuel gritted his teeth and said in hatred.
“What’s the matter?”
Old Madam Quinn glanced at Samuel and asked.

“That b*stard!
“He’s just throwing his weight around. He’s only picking on us because Reach
For Will Group values him.
“I tried talking to those company owners, but they gave me the cold shoulder.
Sean must have set this up!”
Samuel clenched his fist and slapped it hard on his knee. The more he thought
about it, the angrier he
became.
“What do you want to do then?”
Old Madam Quinn pondered for two seconds before asking again.
She had no idea what to do and did not want to say anything now that things
had reached this point.
“I’m meeting the chairman behind Reach For Will Group after this summit!
“Then I’ll do whatever it takes to kill Sean!”
Samuel clenched his teeth as malice glimmered in his eyes.
“I agree!”
Simon raised his hand and agreed without hesitation.
They had lost their minds.
A cripple who had been at their mercy not only turned his fate around but also
trampled over them.

They could not accept that.
Therefore, they would fight Sean to the end, no matter what.
“Our shares are down to 20% now. How are we going to fight them?”
Old Madam Quinn said with a sigh as she shook her head.
“I’ll contact some of the Old Master’s former comrades.”
Samuel jerked up his head and said as he looked at Old Madam Quinn.
Old Master Levi Quinn held a high position in the army and had considerable
influence.
