Chapter 363
The little guy was obviously more interested in this topic than in biscuits. Finally, he looked at the little girl proudly.
"Of course, you have good taste.”
Nora was a little embarrassed.
"Easton, can I play games with you later?" The round-faced girl asked hopefully.
"No way, I want to be with my parents, not with you.” Easton said rudely.
He added, "You talk too much. I don't want to talk to you. You should go."
Nora's face finally hardened as she watched the little girl leave with reddened eyes. For the first time, she looked at her son with a straight face.
"Easton, she's a girl. You're a boy. You have to be polite and tactful when you are talking to a girl. Didn't mom tell you? Look at that little girl just now. She's almost crying.”
"I didn't make her cry," Easton tried to justify himself.
"If it weren't for your last words, she wouldn't have cried, would she?" Nora continued to lecture. The little guy pursed his mouth, rolled his eyes, and immediately shifted the blame to his father, "My father told me so. He said that I can ignore anyone I don't want to talk to."
Derek was stunned, and his face immediately darkened, "Easton, what did you just say?"
As he spoke, he reached out his hand and was about to bring the ungrateful kid over, but Nora slapped his hand away.
"What else do you want to do after teaching your son such nonsense?"
She did not doubt her son's words at all. After all, Easton was still so young, and children saw things as the way how grown-ups behaved. Derek was not wronged at all.
The man who had been slapped in the hand arched an eyebrow slightly but was not angry at all. Instead, he looked at Nora with great interest.
This woman probably didn't even realize herself that she was getting less and less afraid of him and more and more daring
Of course, this was a good sign.
Nora looked at her son again, "Easton, if there are children talking to you in the future, especially girls, you must have a better attitude. Do you understand?"
Easton blinked, "What if they are trying to make advances to me?"
Nora didn't know whether to laugh or cry at what he just said. She couldn't help but glare at her son, "Nonsense. You are all just little kids. The little girl just wants to talk to you. How is that making advances to you?"
Derek leisurely interjected, "Your son was kissed by his deskmate on the first day of kindergarten.” The little boy's face turned red with anger and shame.
Nora was stunned, "Really?"
Easton couldn't help but look at her resentfully. Nora was speechless.
Derek continued, "When your son first started kindergarten, he received all kinds of snacks, flowers, gifts, love paintings, and so on every day."
"Wait, what is love painting?" Nora wondered.
Derek curled his lips, "It is something similar to a love letter. How many words can a kid in kindergarten write? They draw a painting if they don't know the words. It's something like that.” "By the way, there are still girls in the class fighting because of this boy every two or three days. I can get two or three calls from the school teacher almost every week.”
"But it gradually quieted down since your son became as bad-tempered as he was just now."
So, she was making the wrong remarks just now?
Nora opened her mouth and looked at her son's resentful little face. She suddenly didn't know what to say.
Sheldon's 12 days in custody passed quickly. When he returned to the Joneses, he saw a familiar figure on the sofa as soon as he entered. He was shocked and immediately stepped forward. "Uncle, why are you here?"
That was right, the man on the sofa was the man Sheldon respected and feared, his uncle, the head of the Joneses, Sean.
Sean was fifty years old. He was tall and had sharp features. He looked only in his early forties. He only glanced at Sheldon, who was stiff and seemed to be frozen.
He slowly stood up and looked at Sheldon, his eyes cold.
With an unexpected slap, he slapped Sheldon hard. Sheldon fell to the ground, which showed how hard the slap was.
Sheldon was completely stunned. He looked at Sean in a daze, but his heart was filled with only fear for he dared not to get angry at all.
"Uncle, uncle..."
"What did I tell you five years ago?" Sean looked at him coldly, his tone gloomy.
His heart thumped, and he suddenly understood why the other party was angry, because of the comments on the Internet recently, because of Nora.
Sheldon immediately got up and gritted his teeth, "Uncle, I've been doing what you asked me to do for the past five years. I even proposed to Nora, but she didn't agree.”
"All of this was messed up by Derek, the president of the Xaviers, who suddenly appeared. I don't know how Nora and Derek hooked up.”
"Our the Joneses saved her. During the five years, I treated her so well but she was still not satisfied with it. She immediately hooked up with him when she saw that Derek was rich and powerful. And this time, if it weren't for that woman, I wouldn't have been detained.”
The more Sheldon spoke, the angrier he became. He had been in prison for the past 12 days and had not suffered like this since he was a child. He blamed Nora for all this.
How could he have suffered like this if she had not been so fickle and seduced someone like Derek? Sheldon, who was so immersed in his complaining, did not even notice Sean's eyes. They were getting colder and colder.
Sean jerked his foot up and kicked Sheldon hard, "Idiot."
Sheldon covered his stomach and his face turned white from the pain. He looked at Sean in horror, completely unaware of what he had done wrong again.
"Even until now, you still have the guts to play tricks on me. Do you think I don't know what you've been doing for the past five years? Do you think I don't know about you and that Aubrey?"
"I warned you five years ago to make Nora rely on you and fall in love with you wholeheartedly. In the end, you should not only marry her but also win her heart completely.”
"What did you do in the end? The Aubrey incident broke out and you're still arguing with me? I think you're looking for death.”
As Sean spoke, he picked up the ashtray on the table and threw it at him. Sheldon was frightened and suddenly turned to avoid it.
With a bang, most of the broken glass hit the back of his head, and several blood cuts were made on his neck.
