The Good Girl's Revenge

Chapter 302

"Oh?" Derek narrowed his eyes. He couldn't bear that a five-year-old brat said that. "You mean, you're crossed in love?"

Noticing the line on his phone, Derek took it over without being polite. He had a look and saw that it was the WhatsApp interface of that woman they met yesterday.

The man's eyes darkened as he looked at the last chat record between them.

Was that woman really with another man?

Derek suddenly felt uncomfortable, but he quickly shook his head. How could this be...

But a woman he just met who saved Easton's life. How could he have any wrong thoughts about her?

Derek's expression darkened, and then he explained his anomaly by saying that he didn't want his son to be unhappy.

Easton watched as the phone was snatched away helplessly. "Hey, dad, you're violating my privacy. Give me back my phone!”

As soon as he finished speaking, Derek realized how strange his actions were, but he did not immediately return the phone to Easton.

Easton's bulging cheeks showed how unhappy he was. Derek saw that and persuaded, "Go out for breakfast and finish your milk, then I'll return your phone to you."

Easton is a picky eater, and he hates milk. Now Derek took hold of him, and his tone was an obvious threatening.

"You... You're amusing your power and bullying me!" Easton had no choice. He hated drinking milk all his life. He tried to escape every time, but this time he was caught in a vital position. He was almost wronged to death.

"Hmm? You don't want your phone anymore?" Derek ignored his little protest. "If you don't finish your breakfast, don't bother me.”

As he spoke, he took Easton's precious cell phone with great ease, leaving him alone in front of the table to eat the vegetables and milk he did not like.

When he walked into the study, Derek called the head of the hospital directly and confirmed that the visitor was a woman. His gloomy expression eased a little.

His fingers moved on the screen. "It's a woman.”

On the other side of the phone, Nora looked at the strange message. After thinking about it, she answered truthfully, "You're right. It's a friend of mine. It's a girl."

Seeing the message, Derek's tense lips relaxed a little. "You are alone there. Are you getting bored? Where's your family?"

Nora thought about it. She was in a special situation, and she didn't want to talk to a five-year-old child about it. "Well... My family is out of town. They can't come back. It's not a big deal anyway, so don't worry about them.”

Derek was shocked to see that she was a little lonely in these few lines.

She was hurt, but she held on and didn't talk to her family. Should say that she was strong enough or didn't even dare to rely on others?

"If I have time, I'll go see you." Derek replied, "If there's anything you need right now, you can tell the staff over there directly. If someone neglects you, just tell me."

Nora looked at this long message in a daze, not sure if it was an illusion. She always felt that the tone did not sound like a five-year-old child. Although Easton usually liked to pretend to be an adult but he was not so overbearing.

Could it be Derek?

A second later, Nora shook her head vigorously. She had gone to check on Derek yesterday. He was a busy CEO. How could he have extra time to send text messages to a small potato like her?

After a while, Nora thought of a serious problem. "You'd better not come. What if you're in danger again? Your family can't afford to go through this."

Derek frowned. At this moment, the door of the study was pushed open by a pair of small hands. Easton wiped the milk stains on his mouth with his sleeve and came over to take his phone back. "I've finished eating. If you don't believe me, go check it. Give me my phone.”

Derek didn't play with him anymore. He gave him his phone back. Easton quickly flipped through the message. "Dad, why are you doing this? You're actually using my WhatsApp to chat with other girls. Are you shy?"

"She is still waiting for your reply.” Derek ignored his question.

"Well... She won't let me go by myself, I could just get someone to come with me." Easton tilted his head. He didn't think it was a problem at all. There were so many bodyguards at home. It is easy to take two people out.

"No, I couldn't feel easy.” Derek rudely denied it.

"Then..." Easton was a little speechless. There was nothing to be worried about. The bodyguards of the Xaviers were all carefully selected, one of them fights with ten people wouldn't be a problem, okay?

"I'll go with you." Derek picked up a book and looked casually.

".." Easton was suddenly choked to the point of being speechless. Why did he feel that his father was obviously having a bad motive to do that?" You go, how uncomfortable I am..

Easton's impression of his father was super outstanding, especially awesome, but very boring and strict.

If his father went with him, wouldn't he be scolded to death again? It would be embarrassing to be called around like this in front of a girl.

"What do you think I will do to you if that thing that happened yesterday repeats?"

Derek's expression was unkind. If he dared to do that again, the Old Master would have to strangle him to death.

"Isn't that an accident?" Easton knew he was in the wrong. "Let me tell her.”

Without saying anything, Derek looked at the little guy's unwilling face.

"Don't worry, my father sent me there. No one dares to challenge him."

Nora was a little surprised. Wasn't Derek very busy?

"Would it be a waste of his time?"

"Of course not. That's settled.” Easton quickly decided. Seeing that the matter was over, he waved his cell phone to Derek. "Since it's all over, I'll go back first."

"Wait a minute." Derek stopped him.

"So... So what?" Easton felt that he had said nothing good and hid his phone behind him.

"Give me her contact.” Derek spoke very naturally.

Easton looked at him strangely, then, as if he had thought of something, he suddenly had a bad smile and leaned over. "Dad, tell me the truth. Did you take my phone away today because you left a phone call yesterday but she didn't talk to you?"

The more Easton thought about it, the funnier he felt about it. Yesterday, his handsome father gave her a business card and left. As a result, he was ignored...

Was it that people shouldn't pretend to be something, or he would be struck by lightning?

Derek tightened his hand on the spine of the book, then picked up his phone and dialed a number. "Hey, I have a disobedient..."

"No, no, no!" Easton quickly snatched his phone. "It's okay. He's joking. Haha."

After that, he quickly recommended Nora's WhatsApp to Derek. As he sent it, he couldn't help but complain, "Isn't this the so-called bullying..."
