The Good Girl's Revenge

Chapter 261

The doctor was distressed to hear this. His colleagues did not seem to have any sympathy for the patient.

The man's eyes darkened as he walked into the room and leaned closer to Meredith's ear. "Now, I can help you contact the people outside, but there's only one chance. You decide who you want to find!"

Meredith looked at the man in surprise, thinking that he would only listen to the orders of the Xaviers. She didn't expect him to help her.

"Why would you help me?"

Why?

The doctor himself felt a little incredulous, perhaps because he still had a little conscience, and he couldn't stand that the rest of Meredith's life was destroyed.

In this way, he was afraid that he would feel guilty for the rest of his life.

"Help me contact this person!"

Seeing that he did not speak, Meredith did not ask any more questions. She was not spiritless because of the blood loss and pain. She had no time left.

Now she had no other choice but to hope that the person in front of her really wanted to help her, instead of playing trick on her.

After getting a phone number, the doctor found an excuse and walked out. The thick smell of blood was almost suffocating.

He thought of it as doing the last thing he could do for Meredith, which was a little consolation to him.

According to Meredith's instructions, the doctor sent her distress signal to the owner of the number. But he didn't leave his name in order to protect himself.

Now, he could only pray that the man was reliable enough to think of a way to help Meredith. Parker received an MMS in the middle of the night. There was only one sentence: "I am on the uninhabited island of the Xaviers, help me."

He frowned, wondering what was going on. Could it be harassment?

Just as he was about to delete it, he suddenly stopped.

Kidnapped by the Xaviers?

Parker's eyes widened. Although the message was unsigned, he had a strong feeling that it was from Meredith.

After all, she had not got in touch with him for a long time.

At first, Parker didn't bother her as he thought Meredith was with Derek. Since it was her decision, he decided to respect her choice.

But now it seemed that things were not that simple.

Parker stood up and the chair behind him fell with an enormous crash, but he paced back and forth as if he didn't notice it.

How could Meredith be kidnapped by the Xaviers?

These days, although Parker had been very concerned about Meredith's current situation, he tried to focus on his career after realizing the huge gap between himself and the Xaviers last time.

Only with a strong power could he protect the people he cared for. His past failures reminded him to keep it in mind.

He thought that Derek had done so much for Meredith and that Meredith had his child in her belly. At the very least, Derek would keep her safe and make sure nothing would happen to her. But now, obviously, that was not the case.

Parker looked at the words, not knowing what happened to Meredith. But he knew it must have been a very troublesome thing to force her to do such a thing.

"Send someone to check immediately!”

Parker immediately sent someone to investigate the matter, but his expression remained serious. He had no confidence in the Xaviers intelligence. Since they dared to kidnap a person directly, it showed that they were very confident.

There was little hope of finding out where Meredith was.

But he had another way...

Parker was deep in thought, clenching his fists, but that way...

Ten minutes later, Parker's man stepped forward. "I'm sorry. There are only a few uninhabited islands in the Xaviers, but it takes at least 24 hours to locate them..." he explained.

24 Hours?

Parker couldn't wait a minute.

He stubbed out the cigarette in his hand, then got up and said, "No need to check, I have another way!"

Meredith managed to hold on for a few more hours, relying on the blood that a few people had taken out temporarily.

She had been trying to keep her head up and not fall asleep.

At the same time, she prayed in her heart that Parker would be able to see her call for help. Meredith had no choice but to ask Parker for help. Among the people she knew, the only one who could help her was him.

"Miss Mason, your condition is getting worse. We're going to remove your uterus...”

A few gynecologists took out a notice and asked Meredith to sign it seeing that things were getting worse.

In their view, it would be better to end this ordeal than take a risk.

As for Meredith's future, it was all up to the Xaviers to think about it.

Meredith's eyes widened in disbelief. Were these people doctors or not? Was her future so insignificant to them?

"No!"

Meredith refused without any hesitation. Removing her uterus meant she would not have a chance to be a mother and she would not be a complete woman.

How could these people be so cruel? How could they take away her child and deprive her of the possibility of having a child?

"It was you guys who insisted on me having a natural birth. It's your fault. You people are not deserved to be doctors..."

Meredith hated them at the thought of her struggling to give birth for the past few hours. She hated these sanctimonious people.

She managed to stay conscious, but they looked at her impatiently.

"As a mother, it's better for you to have a natural birth. Don't you understand? We're also doing what we're told. You should blame the Xaviers, not us!"

They seemed to force her to have the operation regardless of her feelings.

Meredith's eyes widened in despair, but she was too weak to struggle, so she could only watch helplessly. "You can't do it. No, I don't agree!" she cried.

"This is for your own good."

"If you put it off any longer, the blood here will be used up, and we won't even be able to save your life by surgery.”

"the Xaviers will give you some compensation. With the money, you won't lose if you don't have a child in your next life.”

Just as Meredith was on the verge of despair, a roar came from outside.

It was the sound of a helicopter landing.

The people present were startled as very few people could come to the uninhabited island.

"Is Mrs. Xavier here?"

After learning that the baby was born, Violet wanted to see her grandson first.

"Go and cheer up young master."

Meredith hated so much upon hearing the name. But just as everyone was waiting for Violet to appear, the door to the operating room was kicked open.

Everyone's eyes widened in disbelief at the people who came in.
