Meredith was speechless for a moment. From yesterday until now, she had been thinking about these things. If she said that she didn't care, she was lying.

Meredith first went to the supermarket to buy some baby stuff. Anyway, she was just idle and she wanted to do something. After shopping, she remembered that her usual nutritional supplements seemed to have run out. So, she walked into a pharmacy not far away.

Meredith was talking to the shop assistant when Derek's mother, Violet, happened to be here to buy things as well. Violet saw her who was standing not far from the counter.
