Chapter 2172
Meg raised her glass and exclaimed, "Thank you everyone for your help, especially Mr. Frankton, for bailing me out twice today. Now let's spare ourselves from talking, and drink up!"
With that, Meg chugged her glass, leaving Frank a little shocked. "Are you going to be fine? You drank a lot earlier in the afternoon."
Meg smiled. "Someone who works in this business must be able to hold their liquor. Either way, cheers-are you and your ladies going to join me?"
"Yes," Frank said, raising his glass.
Seeing Frank drinking right then, Ida chugged her glass too, since she was not getting away.
While she could be openly upsetting, she had yet to drink so much before and a spirit at that she was left sticking her tongue out from the burning taste.
"Manners!" Sadie rolled her eyes at Ida.
"Who are you to criticize me?" Ida smirked. "You're not drinking."
Sadie smiled but said nothing, while everyone drank and ate, soon finishing the three bottles of vodka.
Spurred by liquid courage, Meg moved to sit beside Frank, hugging her arm while resting her chin on his shoulder, purring, "Thank so much for today, Mr. Frankton... To be honest, I'd be dead if not for you." While Ida was watching them sideways as if they were strangers, Frank remained spirited despite drinking bottles.
Sadie could not help asking in curiosity, "How much do you think you could drink if you went all out?"
Frank shrugged. "Never pushed myself before, but I can drink alcohol like it's water."
"That's our mentor for you." Sadie sighed in awe. "You're far above me even when it comes to alcohol."
As Frank smiled but said nothing, Meg grumbled, "Just drinking is so boring... How about some Risk or Truth?"
Though she remembered the drinking game app, she decided to skip it entirely and pouted. "You lost, so you have to choose your risk!"
Frank nodded, unable to argue. "Alright, I lost-tell me, what would you have me do?"
Meg wagged her finger and pointed at Sadie. "Not me. That lady will decide! Go on, what would you like him to do? He'll have to do it!"
Sadie had no idea what had happened between those two in the afternoon, but she could see that there was some chemistry between them.
"Why don't you lay in his arms while you get sober?" she asked Meg.
"H-How unseemly! Where's your respect for your mentor? Honestly, why did he take you in?" Meg grumbled, but she slyly slid into
Frank's arms, leaning tamely against
his chest and looking utterlyst
comfortable.
Sadie was grinning ear-to-ear and whispered, "She's beautiful, master. You must seize this chance!"
Frank was not sure if he should laugh or cry.
Seize the opportunity? She was basically glued to him!
That was when he heard soft snores and looked down to see that Meg had fallen asleep.
Still, it made sense, since Meg had probably not recovered from all the alcoholin the afternoon, so it would be weird if she did not pass out drunk after drinking in the evening too
Beside him, Ida lay sprawled on the table and also dozed off.
Frank then told Sadie, "It's late now. Help carry Ida-we're going now."
"It's alright." Sadie shook her head. "I'll leave with Ida-you stay!"
Frank rolled his eyes at Sadie, and she pursed her lips as she did as told.
With that, everyone headed downstairs, with Frank and

putting Meg and Ida in the eat,
before Frank rode shotgun while Sadie drove.
"Do you know where Ms. Quill stays?" Sadie asked.
"Nope!" Frank shook his head and turned to ask Meg, "Where do you live?"
