Chapter 2156
The manager quickly said, "Come on, that's just being a buzzkill. I'll arrange for a designated driver-just drink up!"
Jouri seemed to have been watching them too and took a moment while singing to run over, "Exactly. Why aren't you drinking? Just let them send us home."
Frank was naturally happy that he did not have to drive and allowed the manager to pour him a full glass.
"I'm Meg Quill. Nice to meet you," the manager introduced herself while raising her glass. "Do take good care of me from now on."
Perhaps by accident or otherwise, Frank could feel her brushing against himself.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Lugh Frankton," he said, shrugging.
Even if Meg had ulterior motives in getting cozy with him, people were not all black and white.
And as a manager of an entertainment outlet, it was natural for Meg to be eager to please, so Frank did not take offense.
"So, where are you from?" Meg then asked.
Frank gave her the address of his fake ID, and she exclaimed, "What a coincidence that's where I'm from too! That makes us compatriots!"
While she was busy trying to earn Frank's fancy, she was caught off guard as Jouri interrupted them. "You're here to provide us with service, not to flirt! Get that straight!"
Meg nodded repeatedly, but she still thought that it was rare to meet someone of Frank's caliber at a place like this.
They were usually either rich but ugly, or good-looking but poor. One had to admit that Jouri was a rare specimen, even if they were considering the entire country, so in Meg's mind, she was one in a million.
And the fact that Frank could get in the good graces of a goddess like her meant he was a big deal too!
Despite Jouri's express disapproval, it was clear that Frank was not her plaything either.
As such, Meg was still intent on hooking up with him. "May I call you Lugh?"
"Suit yourself."
"Alright, Lugh it is! Well, the ladies are busy singing, and we're just here sitting around. Since I'll be free until we play
afternoon anyway, why donuntil
a dice game?"
Frank nodded his alcohol tolerance was unmatched, and sitting around was boring anyway.
Meg smiled as she left the room, and instructed a waiter to bring two sets of dice.
"Who are you playing with?" the waiter asked, clearly gossiping.
After all, their usually high and mighty manager was now as tame as a kitten it was as if the sun had just risen from the west.
Meg naturally read the waiter's intention and did not take offense since it was perfectly natural. "Who else? The pretty boy in the room, of course!"
"Poor kid." The waiter chuckled. "Who wouldn't know that you're our famous goddess of gamblers? I've never seen you lose to anyone in dice games!" Meg could not resist puffing herself at the flattery.
"Exactly! Who could match Ms. Quill's skill with dice anyway?"
1.n
It was no exaggeration, as Meg climbed the ranks to manage precisely with her skills with dice. did not matter who she was up against, as once she started playing, the opponent would end up piss drunk.
And everyone knew that!
"Don't forget us after you get rich, Ms. Quill!" a waiter added just then.
"Go away already!" Meg rolled her eyes at him.
The waiter chuckled and turned to leave, while Meg did not return to Frank's room.
She headed upstairs, fixing her makeup while putting up a dress with a low neckline, as well as black pantyhose and high heels.
The waiters were stunned-there
was no lack of beautiful people around here, but it was the first time they had encountered someone as bewitching as Meg.
