Chapter 1449
"Y-Yes, of course..."
Willy pursed his lips but shot a vicious glare at Kelly before he left, as she dropped to her knees in fear. As he snorted coolly and strode off, the production crew was left whispering among each other again. "What the hell? Mr. Lawrence really has Willy Sorano at his beck and call!"
"I've never seen Willy being that humble..."
"Didn't you hear? He was literally lecturing Willy!"
"Ya think?! And Willy didn't even dare to argue!"
"It's outrageous!"
"Hmph!"
On the other hand, even as Kat watched as Willy left, she was clenching her knuckle and huffing pompously. "That prick really mellowed down, huh? And here I was going to come up with some excuse to beat him up violently again." Her huffing left the production crew petrified right then.
"Again?"
Was Kat saying that she had already beaten up Willy violently before?!
Jeff Bale the screenwriter felt like his heart could stop right then-who on earth was this brat doing in his production?!
Still, it was not surprising that she was so confident. If anything, it made her the perfect choice to play a rebellious brat who did not fear bigwig bullies, even snapping at an heir of a major corporation.
Hell, she was even more amazing in reality, as she got physical instead of just using words!
Jeff had to beckon repeatedly for
assistant to bring him annet puffs for his heart to cane's
and
had to take several
That was when Frank turned toward him. "Are her scenes done? I'm taking her if it is."
Since Alfred Moran the director had fainted and had to be stretchered off, Jeff was now the leading authority at the production set.
"Yes, yes..." Jeff nodded apparently, afraid to say anything else.
"Good." Frank nodded and went up to take Kat's hand, ready to leave.
"Wait," she suddenly said and walked up to shove Kelly, who was sitting limply on the ground.
Dropping to a crouch to level a look of annoyance straight at Kelly, she said, "I'll be honest-I'm really upset that you stole my parts, but just remember not to mess it up. Get it? I don't want my debut to flop."
And as Kelly looked on, Kat waved at her as she strode out of the film set with Frank.
Her face covered in blood and bruises, Kelly could only murmur unintelligibly and in quiet disbelief, "S-She's not going to kill me..."
-
After leaving the film set, Kat rode shotgun in Frank's car, leaning against the window.
"Uh... sorry for putting the blame on you, Master Lawrence," she said.
After all, she had realized that her scenes were cut down because of Alfred, who mistook Kelly for Frank's sister, and it was not Frank's fault at all
While that meant Kat could have more scenes before, she did not really care about that now.
She then added, "I understand now, Master Lawrence. I was out of line... You and dad were both just worried about my safety."
