Chapter 1444
As everyone watched Frank walk toward Kat, they could already see what was going to happen.
He would either hand her a violent beating to defend Kelly's honor, or he would just kill her on the spot. Everyone held their breaths, and the security guards especially were making way for Frank.
"What..."
Kat was shocked, as she could certainly see Frank.
Still, realization showed on her face before she snapped angrily, "It's all your fault, isn't it?!"
Frank paused, caught off guard by the accusation that came out of nowhere.
He just did not want Kat to get hurt, so what fault was she talking about?
"Kat Yego! You'd better watch how you're talking to Mr. Lawrence!"
Alfred quickly leapt in, snapping. "Now kowtow to Mr. Lawrence and apologize!"
At the same time, he kept shooting Kat's looks-it was the best he could do, as he was reluctant to see a good talent like Kat die here. "Why should I?!" Kat bellowed, pointing at Frank as her eyes widened in rage and misery.
"You. Shut up."
Frank held up his hand to stop Alfred just then before turning calmly toward Kat. "What else do you want to say?"
"Well, since you asked!"
Kat cried, wiping away tears. "There's plenty! You had my parts cut off, didn't you?!"
"What?!" Frank frowned-he did not do anything.
"What are you talking about?!"
Alfred was snapping, glancing guiltily at Frank before turning to Kat, "We trimmed your parts out of consideration of the overall
er
production. It has nothing to do with Mr Lawrence!"
At the same time, Jeff Bale the screenwriter was with Kelly, helping her to her feet and coaxing, "Please, Ms. Handel. You should reason with your brother-if he hurts Kat now, our month-long work will all go to waste!"
"Yeah, Ms. Handel. You should talk to your brother!"
"Just tell him to punish Kat, but don't let things get out of hand or this production is kaput."
"Forget hitting cinemas... We'd have to pay our investors damages!"
Kelly was left confused by the production crew's reasoning, since her brother never showed up.
Then, seeing Frank and realizing what was going on, she wiped her eyes and snapped, "That's not my brother!"
Everyone was left stunned right then, and Jeff's heart almost stopped right then. "What? You're saying Mr. Lawrence isn't your brother?"
"Of course not." Kelly sneered even
as she shot Frank a look of contempt. "What, do you think my brother is some small fry like him?! It's Willy Sorano, and he promised to visit today!"
"What?!"
The whole production crew was left dumbstruck, freezing up like statues right then.
Kelly took their reactions as pure shock from Willy Sorano's importance. Naturally, Willy was not really her brother-they simply fraternized at a hotel last night.
