The Gay Nerd Who Stole His Heart

Chapter 43

Kylan stormed inside his house, slamming the door shut and pacing before rushing up to his stairs. He was surprised to find Bradley and Ella in his room, the person he was just about to call, and he widened his eyes towards her, "I don't know what I'm doing."

Ella raised her eyebrows, "Kylan, you had sex with both of them, didn't you?"

"Charles' twice, but yes."

Bradley chuckled, leaning backward in the desk chair, "You're worse than Jonah with girls; at least he does one of each."

Ella slammed his palm into Bradley's stomach. She then focused on Kylan, narrowing her eyes in his direction with a disappointed look, "That's not cool, Ky. You either give Charles a shot or go back to Jonah, but you can't do both." Kylan's look saddened, "I know, and Charles is a really great guy. But Leah went to Jonah's house this morning."

"No surprise, they talked about getting back together." All their eyes widened, even Bradley's, as he sent a hand through his hair, muttering, "I shouldn't have said that."

Ella widened her eyes and immediately turned to Kylan's, whose face fell blank, losing its color for a moment and becoming pale. His anxiety was beginning to race again, but there was also an anger rushing through his blood that he could not control. With gritted teeth, he ignored Ella's protest, and when she approached him, grabbing his arm, he shoved her away, causing Bradley to suddenly stand from his seat and catch her. "Are you insane?" Bradley snarled, glaring at Kylan, "She's a girl. Why would you push her like that—"

"I don't want to see either of you in my house again."

"Kylan, I—" Ella attempted to calm him, but he sharply turned his head to eye her with a glowing hatred.

"Leave me alone." He stormed from his own bedroom afterward and rushed to his vehicle, reversing from the driveway before he even had closed the door. He slammed his fist against the steering wheel, filled with an extreme fury as he sped down the road, drifting along the turns and thinking of all the curse words he was going to shout at Jonah.

He had spent weeks just thinking about him and believed his words, only to be slapped in the face by him again. He had used him and made him appear like a fool, which caused him to feel even more guilty for hurting Charles. Hence why, as he finally parked in front of the home, he descended from the car, leaving the motor on as he stormed by the gate and slammed his fist against the door.

He assumed they were expecting visitors since the butler opened the front door with a smile until he saw Kylan and frowned, uncertain of what was occurring.

"I don't believe that you were "

"Move," Kylan growled as he pushed the butler away, stepping inside the house and storming to Jonah's bedroom. He rushed up the stairs and burst through the door, finding it empty. After a scoff, he raced down the steps, "Jonah, where are you?"

He did not care that his parents and siblings were home as he stormed through the home to eventually find them all seated in the dining room. They were eating a meal when they heard the hurrying footsteps, and Jonah felt his stomach tighten when Kylan's voice echoed throughout the home. It was too late to stop him since moments later, he entered the dining room, and his entire family raised their eyes to meet his.

He saw Kylan's eyes search amongst the table until he found him, and he stepped forward, "You played me!"

They all remembered him from the mayor's marriage anniversary, and Vladimir and Bella, who were shocked by his aggressive presence and rigid features, turned to Jonah who seemed uneasy of Kylan's presence. Leah and Jacob were also present since the parents had invited them for dinner, and they observed Kylan's frantic behavior as he glared at Jonah.

The mayor cleared his throat to assemble a peace, but Kylan ignored him and instead pointed a finger in Jonah's direction, "You said you loved me, but you didn't, you never did; you were just looking for someone to make you feel good!" Jonah sprung to his feet, glancing towards the confused eyes of his family until a few began gasping, and then the whole table was in shock when they realized what Kylan was implying.

Jonah approached Kylan, "Not here, you idiot."

"Don't touch me," he shoved his arm away, glaring at Jonah, who approached him, staring down at him and gritting his teeth. His eyes widened in horror as well as uncertainty as he wondered what his family was thinking. "Bradley told me you and Leah had been talking about getting back together, was that after or before you had sex with me?!" Kylan shouted, bawling his palms into fists.

When Jonah tightened his jaw even more, his teeth threatening to break as he hissed, "Kylan, not here, please."

Kylan frowned, then noticed that it was because his family was there. Immediately, he smirked, "Oh, you didn't know? Mayor, and his wife, sorry to tell you this, but your son is gay-"

Instantly, Jonah grabbed Kylan by his collar and slammed him against the wall, causing his mother to yelp. Kylan met Jonah's stern gaze and immediately felt his entire body feel paralyzed; he had never seen such a deathly glare from anyone before, and Jonah eventually snarled, "Let's go upstairs."

Kylan gulped, and Jonah kept his grip around his collar, pulling him up the stairs. He was quiet the entire way to his bedroom, and once they reached his room, he shoved Kylan inside and slammed the door shut. He took a few moments to remain quiet and regain his breather, hoping that his anger would ease a bit. However, it hadn't, and when he finally faced Kylan, he could not help but want to wrap his fingers around his throat.

He locked the door behind him, "Kylan, you better have a good reason for this shit or else, I promise you, we're done, for good."

Kylan shrugged his shoulders with a snicker, furrowing his eyebrows, "I don't even care since we're done for good after this."

"What the hell is going on, Ky?" He ripped his tie from his neck, opening his top buttons since he felt as if he needed more air, "What got into you? We were fine when you left here!"

"We can never be fine if Leah is in the picture," Kylan shouted, slamming his fist against the wall. He was never angry, never revealed his emotions. Even when his father insulted him, slammed him against walls, and beat him until blood showed, he never became angry, just saddened by the dislike his father had towards him. However, his father never caused him to have any rage, but Jonah did. That was because he placed an insane amount of trust in him and never assumed it would have backfired. He shook his head, "Bradley told me."

"Told you what?"

"Everything!"

Jonah frowned, "What's everything?"

"Don't bullshit me, Jonah. Tell me the truth."

"I have no idea what truth you're talking about="

"You've been talking to Leah about getting back with her," Kylan screamed at the top of his lungs, feeling his eyes swell with tears the instance he said those words. However, the series of emotions that crossed Jonah's face made him uncertain if that was true.

Suddenly, Jonah grabbed his chair and slammed it against the wall. He then kicked his desk, causing a hole on the side, and then grabbed his lamp, slamming it onto the ground. Kylan observed with widened eyes, taking a few steps back as Jonah went on an angry rampage, slamming his fist into the wall and causing a gigantic hole. He then grabbed his phone from his pocket and threw it onto the ground, the screen instantly shattering.

"You're a damn joke Kylan," he screamed, the veins showing on his neck as he grabbed his collar and slammed him against the wall, Kylan wincing as he felt the back of his head hit the wall. He restrained Kylan against the wall, and Kylan stopped resisting after he slowly felt Jonah's grip tighten.

"That's true. Yes, Leah talked to me about getting back together when I had sex with her that one time after we had a fight. You want to know the truth? I thought about it because she's the mother of my child. But I came back to you." Jonah slammed Kylan against the wall once more before letting him free, taking a few steps back with broadened shoulders, "I came back to you because the love I have for you is something I've never felt before, but for some reason, you just don't want to believe that, you're making it so difficult for me to love you."

Kylan inhaled sharply, staring at Jonah's features becoming red as if flames were underneath his flesh. "You told them I was gay, which I'm not, before I was even able to accept it within myself. Not only in front of my siblings but my parents as well, and you barged in the home yelling like a maniac. Do you realize what the hell you've done, Kylan?"

Kylan shook his head, "Why do you always make it seem like it's my damn fault?"

"Because who's fault is it today, Kylan? Is it mine?!" he roared, "No one else barged into my home and ruined everything except you, so you only have yourself to blame. And you know what?" He approached Kylan, his warm breath on the top of Kylan's nose as he snarled, "I'm breaking up with you. Until you learn how to trust people, don't show up at my doorstep. I can never forgive you for what you've done."

He turned towards his door, and opened it wide, and called his butler. "Show him out, please," he spat, glaring once more at Kylan and saying, "By the way, we're not together, that means I can have sex with whoever I want, including Leah."
