The Gay Nerd Who Stole His Heart

Chapter 40

He had a blunt on the edge of his mouth and raised it to his ear, observing the manner Kylan was not only frozen by his presence but also gawking at his attire. Jonah was wearing a burgundy suit, with a black turtleneck underneath and a silver chain, his suit matching his pants. It was tight on him, and Kylan, without knowing, but his bottom lip, examining Jonah. It caused Jonah to laugh, shake his head and turn to the bartender, "Shots, please." "Kylan," Charles called, regaining his focus, "you don't have to worry about him."

Kylan shook his head, "I'm not." He was evidently lying since the hormones from his drunk state merely wanted to have hate sex with Jonah, wanting to curse at him but let him climb on top of him and have his palms roam his body. With a sigh, he furrowed his brow and leaned in for a kiss with Charles again, to which Jonah saw and narrowed his eyes at but did not say anything. He had agreed to give Kylan his own space, and that was what he deserved. Hence why he focused on the group of friends he was with, laughing with them as they took shots, a few making faces as the taste was awful. Jonah was throwing jokes, laughing, and having a pleasant time that Kylan could not help but look over. Charles bit his bottom lip, "Is all you are going to do tonight is stare at Jonah?"

Kylan returned his focus on Charles, who gripped him around his waist, pulling his body closer to him, "No, I wasn't looking at him—"

"Yea," Charles chuckled, placing his lips on Kylan's neck for small pecks, "Don't worry, I understand what you're going through."

Kylan sighed, "I still have feelings for him."

"But you have feelings for me too," Charles replied, raising his head, "so focus on me tonight, please."

He was right; Kylan felt bad that he continuously glanced over to Jonah, but it was instinctive. He nodded his head and connected their lips for a short moment. Until, he eyed Jonah one last time, and his heart began to ache when he saw him with his arm wrapped around a girl, her face smooshed against his as they fiercely made out, him grabbing her waist and pushing her against the counter, and Kylan noticed the girl was Katie.

Charles was seeing what Kylan was staring at and wanted him to see that Jonah had moved on and that he should as well. Hence why he asked for an extra shot, and the bartender brought two for each other them.

Soon enough, Katie pulled away and grabbed Jonah's wrist, turning around and placing her behind against his manhood, to which his hormones began racing, staring at the perfect of her body, and she began walking, leading him elsewhere. His friends cheered, and Jonah laughed, following Katie and allowed her to lead him up the stairs to her room.

Kylan had seen the entire thing, and when he turned back to Charles, there was already a shot prepared for him. He gulped the entire thing, and Charles said, "Let's go dance."

They headed to the dance floor and danced with one another, which was lots of fun. Charles oftentimes wrapped his arms around Kylan, and their movements caused both of them to burst out laughing, occasionally almost falling onto their behinds. In the end, most of the time, they were kissing, and then Charles had gotten a bit too horny that he could not let go of Kylan and said, "Why don't we head back now? What do you say?"

Kylan nodded his head, and they escaped the crowd, both having difficulty marching and Kylan's body throbbing for more. They passed by Ella and Bradley, who smiled at them, also on the dance floor. They exited the home, and Charles called a cab that took less than five minutes for him to arrive. Before they even reached the house, their hands began ripping one another's clothes, that they exited the taxi cab with their shirts in their palms, both half-undressed, and marched inside Charles' home.

When they were to head up to his room, Kylan said, "I want to do it in the music room."

Charles raised an eyebrow, "Why there?"

"It's just..." he shrugged his shoulders, "I just want to."

He shrugged his shoulders, "Fine to me."

They headed to the music room, and he locked the door behind him, stripping themselves of their clothes, and Kylan fell on his back on the sofa, Charles climbing over him. Charles's palms did not feel like Jonah's. They were not as affectionate and passionate, which Kylan noticed. They were not as warm either, and his embrace was softer, not as aggressive and menacing as Jonah. Even the manner Jonah stared at him with such hunger was something Charles did not have. Afterward, when Charles fell asleep on the floor from exhaustion, Kylan was unable to sleep and stood to his feet, placing his clothes back on and heading out of the door. He called a cab and left Charles' home. At first, he was unsure where to go, but he was brought in front of a gigantic house, to which he asked the cab to let him out here. He headed for the door, his drunken mind flushing all his uncertainties out, and he stomped towards the entrance, ringing the doorbell a few times before beginning to pound in the door.

Jonah appeared from behind the door without his shirt, and when he noticed who it was, he instantly exited his home and closed the door behind him, "Kylan, what are you doing here?"

"You were never gay," Kylan hissed, shaking his head and folding his arms, "you love girls. That's why you couldn't be truthful with me."

"Did you drive here?" He stepped forward, approaching him, "You can't drink and drive. That's way too dangerous."

"You hooked up with Katie, didn't you?" he shouted, "Why did you ever say you love me if you were going to do all those horrendous things to me?"

"Kylan, how the fuck did you get here?" Jonah's tone had increased, anger appearing on his face as his eyes searched around the entrance for a vehicle. He was afraid Kylan could have drunk and driven to his home, which caused his heart to ache.

Kylan paused for a moment with a frown and said, "I took a cab."

Jonah exhaled in relief, "Holy shit Kylan, that scared me." He then examined how Kylan was shivering, and he pointed to his entrance, "Are you cold? Come inside." "Why aren't you answering my questions?"

"Because right now, I'm worried about your health," he hissed, the stubborn Kylan being hard to make understand, "so get inside Kylan, and then we can talk." "You're drunk."

"I'm not even that drunk. You're way drunker than me," he frowned, "and we can talk inside."

"I don't want to talk inside," Kylan spat.

Jonah raised his eyes to the sky, sighing in annoyance, "You're so annoying, Kylan."

"Is that part of the reason why you left me?"

"What are you talking about?" Jonah raised an eyebrow incredulously, "I didn't leave you. I loved you."

"Yes, because you chose your ex-girlfriend over me."

"No, I did not," he chuckled in disbelief, "you started avoiding me, and you got yourself a new boyfriend, so you should be mad at yourself."

"How am I supposed to believe you ever loved me if I see you at parties making out with the hottest chick in the school?"

Jonah was growing angrier, scratching his head and sending a shaking hand through his hair. Kylan had such a thick skull that he was not listening to anything Jonah was saying, but Kylan felt equally the same way about Jonah, that he was not listening either.

He shrugged his shoulders, "Because I wouldn't be kissing her if I was still with you." When Kylan's lips finally shut, Jonah said, "Can you please come inside? I'll make you some tea, and we can talk about everything, alright?"

Kylan shook his head, beginning to tear up as he sighed, biting his bottom lip. Staring at Jonah in front of him was causing all the memories they had had together to come back. From the time at the beach to the time at the movies to the first time they had sex to the last time. He missed him, missed him so much that it caused his heart to ache at times. Hence why, he whispered, "I miss you."

That was the softest Kylan had been ever since their breakup, and Jonah sighed, biting his bottom lip before whispering, "I miss you too."
