Chapter Appendix - Toni's Ten Rules
I thought I'd bring together the rules Toni was taught to live by, just to bring this book to a close.
Rule number 1 – the most important rule, Always appear weaker than the one in charge.
It reduces the beatings you will take, if they see you as a threat, you won’t live longer, but they will make it seem like that.
Rule number 2 – Cultivate your reputation, let it be worse than who you are.
In doing so, you will never have to be as cruel as your reputation and fewer people will choose to challenge you, for fear your reputation is real.
Rule number 3 - Knowing your enemy means it's easier to predict their moves.
Rule number 4 – Never trust anyone, that way you can’t be betrayed.
Rule number 5 – Less is more
The less information you give someone the more control you retain because information can be used against you, it also worked with threats, the less detail you go into, the more their mind will fill in the details, based on their own worse fears
Rule number 6 – Let your opponent underestimate you but NEVER underestimate your opponent.
Rule number 7 – Never appear weak by backing down and don’t seek approval, if you act in charge, people will automatically assume you are and back down.
Always make them seem like they are trivial and beneath your notice, but don’t back away.
Rule number 8 – Hide in plain sight, the more you can make yourself noticed, the easier it is to hide by changing the smallest things, give yourself a uniform, a fixed haircut and be known for it
Rule number 9 - Take only the head of the snake, the rest is harmless.
Rule number 10 – Don't get close to anyone other than your mate.
Attachments breed weakness
