The Gamer's System

Chapter 227: Levels of Stregth

Zeke and Allesiah didn't notice the minutes pass by. In fact, Zeke was so immersed on the explanation of Allesiah and all the possible applications of her skill that, Heron even needed to use [Voice Chat] just to remind the gamer of the schedule which they had.

"Master." Heron began, with Zeke getting pulled back to reality.

"Oh hey, what's up."

"What do you mean 'what's up?' We have a meeting scheduled and everyone is already here except for both you and lady Allesiah."

"Uhmm…"

"Please come right now." Heron said as she dismissed the communication.

"Well there's that." Zeke said, sighing as the conversation she had with Allesiah needed to be cut short.

"Should I include your new skill on the meeting and updates?" Zeke asked, thinking that the information could be vital.

"Since when did you begin asking for permission on things like this? Whether it be for the better or for the worse, I trust completely on your decisions Zeke." Allesiah simply said as she gave a soft smile to standing as soon as Zeke did.

"Okay then miss Windsprite. After you?" Zeke said in reply, escorting the female elf back to the meeting hall where everyone looked at them.

Some members of the elites were actually having wild thoughts run on their heads. While there were those of the more civilized thinking like Kaguya who knew that, there was a good reason for Zeke's first time getting late on the meeting. On the other side of this coin were people like Curio. One who had tears form on his eyes as he thought of how Zeke and Allesiah were a couple already.

Then there were those who accompanied the two for a longer period of time. Sylph and Heron both had their arms folded as they looked at the two – waiting in front of the meeting hall with a look of irritation and impatience written on their faces.

They were concerned about different things altogether. With Sylph concerned about her younger sister while Heron was concerned with her master.

"What took you so long?" they demanded almost at the same time.

Zeke and Allesiah were taken aback as they were confused on who should answer and what they should say. In the end, it was Zeke who came up with an answer. Not taking more than two seconds worth of delay.

"We just talked about the new skill added on Allesiah's arsenal. Calm down will you." The gamer said in a flat tone, patting them both on the shoulder.

The look of suspicion didn't leave on both the faces of Heron and Sylph. They knew that Zeke wasn't one to get late on things like this. In fact, he was never late for anything. Marking the incident as the first one and, having Allesiah included didn't help them ease their minds.contemporary romance

Nevertheless, they thought it was best for the meeting to begin. Hence, they settled for the words uttered by Zeke and sat down on their areas together with Allesiah.

"What's up with that?" Zeke thought as he brushed off all they did and proceeded to the meeting.

"We'll begin on the overall performance of everyone in this room and your overall resonance with the items and equipment I've made that are connected to [Chaos Energy]."

Zeke created multiple [Statistic Windows]. All showing the details of different members of the group.

"Personally I'm impressed by how quickly you adapted to the power spike you received through your chaos gear. But there are those that stood out among the rest of you." At this point everyone was still looking on their own [Statistic Windows].

Each member of the elite was a bit nervous on the name that would be called by Zeke but, ultimately it was Kaguya who felt this the most. Knowing that she had a responsibility as the leader of the elites. Namely, being the strongest in order for the other elites to feel confident in battle. Knowing that they had an ace like her up their sleeve.

The next few seconds was dead silent. Nobody dared make any sound and some members of the elites even heard the beating of their heart through their ears. This didn't last long as Zeke finally said the names:

"Jake and Mirio."

The two made sounds of cheer. They did not expect to be called at all thinking that it was Kaguya. Hence this was a joyful surprise to them.

Meanwhile, the leader of the elites was simply looking down. She was disheartened by what Zeke just said and, the gamer saw this.

"They are the ones who got a hold of the gear quicker than the rest. Furthermore, they knew exactly how to maximize their every movement with the things that were given to them. Of course you all did well, it's just that the statistics say they're at least [5% - 10%] ahead of you."

"Alright!" Jake shouted, unable to contain his happiness anymore. Zeke permitted this for another five seconds after which, he made the javelin user settle down as a crystal lit up in the room.

"So that means we're the strongest right?" Mirio wanted to confirm. Zeke knew exactly what was running through his head of course.

"Well at the moment yes. But there's another person catching up." At this even Kaguya looked up. Hoping that it was finally her turn to be called.

"While Jake and Mirio are talented themselves, there is another individual who has continued growing each and every day. And, this means that, she would be able to overtake the two I've just mentioned in no time." Zeke pointed to Kaguya and, for a moment, the leader of the elite felt her heart flutter.

"Kaguya's power level has been showing a steady increase day by day. [20%] to be exact. Even if this does go down on the following days, the change won't be that high. And so, the outcome would inevitably be that Kaguya is stronger than all of you."

"Is that true?" Kaguya asked, not even remembering to use the glowing crystal.

"Now why would I lie about such important details as this?" Zeke simply replied as he continued speaking.

"Anyway, that doesn't mean that you can't catch up. Even if Kaguya's power level goes higher than anyone else, you can all improve and, I'm expecting you to." The elites all said a resounding "yes" to this.

"As for the Heron, Morpheus, and the Windsprites, they are naturally on another level. This is especially so with Morpheus and Allesiah who've gotten newfound powers. Let's begin with Morpheus." Zeke motioned for the [Chimera Morpher] to come forward which he immediately followed.

"Morpheus has gained the ability to raise the same horns as our newly found enemies." Zeke began, with Morpheus making the demonstration.

"These aren't just for decoration and I'm sure you could feel it too. Morpheus has gotten stronger because of these same horns and, that isn't the limit yet. He could probably reach until the level of the six horned monsters."

"Wait hold up. There are five and six horned monsters?" This was asked by Amare as soon as she made her crystal glow.

"Yes, you see on the dark areas the main enemies are the five horns. Meanwhile on the darker areas, the boss monsters are the six horns."

"How strong are those exactly?"

"A five horned monster is basically as strong as two four horned monsters combined. Although that is not the end of it. I'm guessing that these five horned monsters are capable of speech am I right?" Zeke glanced at the Windsprites who both nodded.

"That means that they also have a certain level of intelligence which is dangerous when coupled with the amount of power they hold. At the moment I can't risk sending you individually to the black areas although, after we clear out all the red ones, I'd be sending you there by team." With this one more crystal glowed. This time from Kaguya.

"So how about the six horns? How strong are they exactly?"

"Oh don't get me started. Even without them being put to consideration, the monsters on the darkest areas are well organized. They have levels of hierarchy and duties seemed to be given to every type of horned beasts." Zeke created a hologram on the screen, showing the terrain and the positioning of the monsters during Zeke's fight.

"As for the six horned monsters, I've tried fighting them without relying on my conures. This is to have a better assessment of their overall capabilities in a fight and, all I can say is that, even the Windsprites would have a hard time dealing with them." Zeke then looked at the said elves and corrected himself.

"Well, one of them might be able to do better at least." This time it was Allesiah who stood up and, even before Zeke told her to, the elf activated the dual sight skill.

"What is that?" Amare commented, also gifted with a certain level of vision.

"This is a combination of both [Mana Sight] and [Chaos Sight]. Through this Allesiah is able to cancel out both and, manipulate both. Hence her enemies would not be able to cast skills on her as long as she remains focused on their locations." With this Allesiah sat down again, releasing the skill.

"That is as far as the data goes on your current quest. As for mine, I've already finished searching the Dwarven Continent and, unfortunately, I've found no luck on gathering any data on our targets." The elites all looked down after hearing this. Of course they knew that the search would also take time but some part of them wanted to believe that Zeke could finish it in one go.

"Nevertheless that's one continent down. Meaning I'd be able to finish all [Continents] in a matter of four days. And, within that interval, we will be coming face to face with our main adversary."

"What about the other [Continents] then? Aren't we going to assist them as well."

"Of course we would. Actually, tomorrow you'd be sent to Elysium. Then to Mithril. Then to Rak'shan. We'd minimize the amount of [Chaos Energy] per [Continent]. This would help in preventing our enemy from pinning us down while also adding in Pier's confusion."

"Is there anything else?" Zeke waited for further questions as every detail has been gone through. Except for his [Blood King] quest which he planned to begin right after the meeting.

"We're done for now. Take some time and rest."
