The Dragon's Bride

Chapter 8

I can always recreate what I believe...

That same night, Catori laid on her bed with her stomach grumbling but yet she refused to get up and get food.

Catori refused to eat anything that her mother had prepared; she didn’t even feel like staying in the house anymore, but simply because she had nowhere else to go. Catori will continue to succumb to the treatment of her mother and the nonchalantness of her father.

Catori sat up in her bed to read some more of her book, but her door being pushed open made her pause.

She placed the book under a pillow only to see that it was her brother, with a plate of food.

“I know that you always tell me to stay out of your room, but I brought you something to eat.” He said, then placed the plate on the chair by the door and hurried off.

Catori cracked a small smile, then moved to pick it up, only to turn up her nose.

She hated pork, and she was pretty sure that her mother made it out of spite.

She pushed the plate out the door, then made her way back over to her bed, where she picked up the book again.

Catori skipped random pages until she saw the words, Desolation.

(The land of BorrowsHood, later called Desolation, was where Nightwing settled, becoming the only dragon of his kind to have no family or battalion.

Thriving off the land, sea, and his brute strength, and living in a cave.

Until over twenty dragons joined him, once again making him their king. They built the small area together, and expanded the land where they could.

The males hunted, while the females of the small clan would take care of their children. Along with the baby, Nightwing tried to hide, and refused to say where he got the baby from. Some would ignore his refusal to speak, while some pressed him on the matter.

The small clan of dragon-folk lived in happiness, helping each other, and never wanting for anything, or fighting against each other.

Then the first carriage of ten humans arrived. They promised to be peaceful beings and proved it in some ways.

But the men were greedy with wondering eyes, while the women were jealous and quick to anger.

But the dragon-folks never revealed their true nature to them, and neither did the humans.

Instead, they both co-existed, being weary of each other.

Soon more dragons who chose to join Nightwing’s league arrived as well, living among the few humans, passing themselves off as them.

Secretly using their powers to make the land less deplorable, and the harsh weather a little more manageable.

But no one knew of the secret Nightwing was trying to hide, not even his fellow dragon-folks. But soon, the precious stone he was trying to protect would be lost.

Nobody expected to be attacked by those they were trying to escape.

The enemy of both the dragon-folks and the humans came at night as one, with a single man leading their rank.

After seeing that he would lose, he tricked his partnering dragon-folks. Then somehow managed to get a hold of the stone and the baby Nightwing was trying to protect.

He made a deal with all the dragon-folks, promising that if they left, he would give them the jewel and baby back.

Neither they nor Nightwing knew that he was only scheming.

But no one knew the truth power of the jewel, it was what gave Nightwing his power, where he could change into the most hideous and cruelest of creatures.

After the dragon-folks were tricked, the one who considered himself the king of the land kept the stone, which in turn forced Nightwing to stay with them.

This is the history of Desolation, and how it got its name. It was a place of emptiness and destruction.

This is also how the Stones got their name, once only called by their first names.

The Stones considered themselves as conquerors, the ones who came and attacked a village by night with the help of dragon-folks and tricking them after.

Nightwing is said to still be in Desolation. As long as the stone is still whole, so will his heart be.)

Feeling her eyes closing down, Catori made an indentation to mark where she finished reading, tucked the book under her pillow and went to bed.

She had a pleasant dream that night of Rydstorm. Though she didn’t know his name as yet.

(Catori walked around the stony interior, that seemed like a castle in the sky, but it seemed too open up to be a castle.

Her feet moved on their own, pulling her towards a room.

When she got to the large golden and red door, it opened as if expecting her, her eyes immediately landed on him.

Rydstorm, sitting on his bed with his cock encased in his palm. He had his eyes closed as his hand moved up and down his enormous length.

Catori gasped out, startling them both when Rydstorm opened his icy blue eyes.

And again, she moved forward automatically.

‘Who are you?’ Catori asked.

She bit her lips, not hiding the fact that she was staring at his manhood, which he was still stroking.

Still taking small steps towards him, Catori didn’t stop until she was just before him, with his cock only a tongue’s flick away.

They both stared in each other’s eyes, with Rydstorm breaking the silence first.

“How did you get here?” He asked.

But Catori was too distracted by his action, and his length which seemed as long as her forearm and as thick as her wrist.

Standing up, in one swift movement, Rydstorm had her on his bed. Wasting no time in taking her nightgown off, only to see that she has no panties on.

He marveled at the blonde curly hair on her sex, and how pink her inner folds looked.

Not having any control over her actions, she allowed him to admire her most modest part, and also let him pull at the hair there.

Taking the invitation, Rydstorm played with her already moist pearl, while Catori rubbed her legs together and gave soft moans in her sleep.)

Catori jumped from her dream. Even though she was a virgin, it felt as if she was having sex just now.

She didn’t have that sore feeling her friends spoke about, but instead she felt wet and as if someone was still touching her.

Catori turned to go back to sleep, only to see that it was morning.

Still feeling bothered, she took a cold shower to forget about the dream and the feeling, but it did not get Rydstorm out of her mind.

Catori got dressed in a grey fur coat, with black leggings and a blue top underneath.

She headed to the kitchen to get a quick bite, but before she could, her mother started nagging.

“Do you see what time it is? Why were you sleeping in?”

Catori rolled her eyes, then took up a pear.

“If you can be adult enough to not talk to me, and adult enough to ignore me. Don’t eat my food, maybe you should also find somewhere else to live.” Farrah said.

Catori sucked in a breath, knowing that she was only saying this because Lucian wasn’t there.

“I almost fucking died! Give me a break already and if I’m adult enough for you to force me to marry some shit bag, then maybe I should leave.” Catori yelled.

Farrah’s eyes widen. “Don’t you dare talk to me like that, young lady.”

“But yet you can breathe down my neck all damn day.” Catori snapped back.

Farrah got up and slapped Catori across the face. She was about to slap her back but stopped.

“I hope that dad leaves you.” Catori said instead and left.
