Chapter Happy Birthday Alyssa
Alyssa
I returned to the shared room with Vincent, sat on the bed, and started thinking about the magic I had cast. I felt the sensation all over my body from the spell. It was good to get a little breather from all the questions about me being the golden dragon and my bond with Vincent. Except for Jeffery, all the others seem nice. I put on my golden dress for the ball and soon heard a knock on the door. “Come in!” I said.
Izzy walked through the door, and I was at a loss for words. I was used to seeing Isabella in tight little outfits, but she was no less beautiful even though she showed less skin than usual. Her green floral dress flowed down her body and complimented her every curve.
“I take it you like my dress?” Izzy said. “You’re staring, honey,”
“Sorry, it’s amazing. I’ve never seen you in anything like this,” I said. “Great, I feel underdressed.”
“You are beautiful. I wanted to know if you wanted me to style your hair for you,” Izzy said. “I want Vincent’s mouth to drop when he sees you,”
“Sure, what’s the harm in styling my hair. I do want to look my best for Vincent,” I sat on the chair in front of the mirror, and Izzy got behind me. “Make it into a braid, I want to see how it looks,”
Izzy worked quickly with my request; she gently twisted and curled my hair together to make a single long braid that I could have on my shoulder or my back. It was beautiful. “Thanks for the help, Izzy,” I said.
“Anything for you babe,” Izzy winked. “I’ll be at the ball waiting for everyone else, I’ll see you later,”
I checked myself in the mirror to see if I looked presentable to everyone. I look good. There’s no need to be nervous. “Wow!” I heard Vincent next to me.
“Vincent!” I turned to my left, and Vincent was in an all-black suit for the ball. Of course, he looked terrific. Vincent wore a black dress shirt that hugged his body neatly, allowing me to see the form of the chest beneath it. Over it was a tailored black jacket that perfected the look.
“And just like Izzy, you look like a god,” I scoffed. “Goddess kill me now,”
“I’ve never seen such perfection. You’re beautiful,” Vincent kissed my cheek.
“I don’t feel like it. This dress sucks,” I threw my hands in the air, and Vincent eyed me. “Stop eyeing me like that, that’s not making me feel better,”
Vincent then removed a white box from the closet and placed it on the bed. “Open it,” Vincent said.
I picked up the white box and opened it. Inside were two beautiful dresses. I couldn’t imagine what this had cost. “Try them on,” Vincent smiled.
There was a golden and deep blue dress with soft white lace running down the side. The craftsmanship that went into these dresses is immaculate. I chose to wear the blue dress, and it fit me perfectly. “How did you know my size?” I asked.
“I asked the woman who helped you choose the traveling attire. You deserve the best and I intend to give you the best,” Vincent kissed my hand.
I suddenly felt a chill throughout my body. It made my hair stand on edge, and I felt my heart race. I took a few deep breaths, and the feeling went away. I joined Vincent in the hallway and followed him to the ballroom.
“Something’s wrong, Alyssa. I don’t what it is, but somthing is not right,” Dahlia shivered.
“We’re safe here, Dahlia. Try not to worry; let’s spend some time with Vincent and Astarot.
Vincent and I made it to the ballroom, and the ball started with Gloria saying a few words, and the music started. There was a buffet full of delicious food from the kingdoms. I tasted almost everything on the table; then Vincent dragged me to the dance floor. We started slowly dancing to the music.
“You do realize I have never danced like this before,” I laughed softly.
“Follow me lead,” Vincent smiled. Vincent placed his hand on my back and pulled me in as soon as the music started swaying in beat. He had done this before and made it look effortless. I was trying not to step on his toes. “You’re doing great. How are you liking this so far?”
“It’s overwhelming, but I’m enjoying it and spending time with you,” I smiled and looked into his eyes. They quickly switched from blue to white, but I knew Astarot wanted to dance, too. Again, a slight shiver went through me, and I tried to ignore it. What’s going on?
“Alyssa, are you alright?” Vincent said with concern in his voice.
“I don’t know. I think I need some air,” I said.
“Follow me,” Vincent gently grasped my hand, led me outside, and took me down a path leading to the forest. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed Alexandria and Rory walking somewhere. What are they up to?
“Where are we going, Vincent?” I asked.
“Trust me on this one. Walking in the forest in heels isn’t easy, but bear with me. It will be worth it,” Vincent smiled.
We walked briefly, and Vincent helped me walk in the woods. We stepped into a small grove in the forest, covered with flowers of different species. A small stream ran through the middle, and next to it was a large tree. A bunch of red roses grew on the tree trunk and branches, and about a half dozen lanterns had been hung up, giving the grove a soft, warm light.
I noticed a basket full of strawberries on a small blanket. “Vincent, what is this?”
“Happy Birthday, my love,”
“What?” I was shocked.
“Isabella told me it was your birthday last Tuesday. So I decided to give you a small surprise,” Vincent explained. “Why didn’t you tell me?”
“I’m surprised that Izzy remembered; I told her two months ago when my birthday was,” I said.
“Izzy never forgets birthdays, it’s her superpower,” Vincent joked.
I thought it wasn’t the right time with everything going on,” I said.
“You don’t decid when your birthday is, Alyssa,” Vincent said.
“It’s hard, Vincent; I shifted on my nineteenth birthday, and it was also the day my mother was killed. My mother always took me away on weekend trips, just the two of us. I haven’t thought about celebrating,” I turned away from Vincent.
“You have to remember the good birthdays with your mother. But that doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate now,” Vincent hugged me.
“I can’t believe that you did all this for me,” I gestured to the blanket on the ground.
“It’s not every day that you turn 21. You can legally drink in the States now. I want to make you happy. I love you, Alyssa,” Vincent said.
“I love you too, Vincent,” I told him.
I watched Vincent sigh like he had held his breath for a while. A big smile appeared on his face, and his lips claimed mine.
“You have no idea how happy I am,” Vincent said as he broke the kiss.
Vincent scooped me up and carried me over the mall stream. He gently laid me down on the blanket, putting the basket to the side. I lay on my back, with him hovering over me. He lowered his head and kissed me again, and his hands supported him. I found my hands sliding up his body, unbuttoning his shirt.
“Happy Birthday, my mate,”
Vincent got up and took off his shirt. “Are you sure you want this?” Vincent ask.
“Love me tonight, I want you,” I said.
Vincent took off his dress pants and boxers to reveal his cock. He then helped me out of my dress and laid me back down.
My body was on fire with desire as Vincent’s skilled hands and lips roamed over my curves. I moaned in pleasure as Vincent kissed my neck and chest, his tongue flicking my nipples, sending shivers. Finally, unable to take it anymore, I reached down, wrapped my fingers around his hardened length, and allowed him to enter me. He groaned at my touch, thrusting his hips forward. We moved together in a feverish rhythm, our bodies slick with sweat as we climbed higher and higher toward our climax. We reached the peak of our passion; I let out a cry of pleasure, my body shaking with ecstasy as Vincent gave a final, powerful thrust and spilled himself inside me. He collapsed on top of me, our bodies still trembling from the intense lovemaking.
Vincent and I lay naked on the blanket and continued to cuddle close to each other.
