Chapter 42 Jealousy

"Your Italian is really standard! And you're so beautiful!" Arthur's first impression of Ranita was very good, and he spoke with surprise.

"Thank you for the compliment! I only know a little bit, but if you need anything, just let me know." Ranita was humble and polite, with a beautiful face. Her micro-expressions were handled very well, and every smile and frown was just right - she had great charisma.

Ranita's beauty was completely different from Shannon's - Shannon had big eyes, a high nose bridge and an oval face that belonged to the sweet category. But Ranita had superior bone structure and her eyebrows and eyes exuded elegance; when she didn't smile, she looked indifferen but when she did smile it was like polished gemstones shining brightly.

“Miss Bowman, you don't have to be modest!" Arthur paused dramatically before exclaiming, "I suddenly seem to have inspiration when I see you!"

That was an impromptu creation for Ranita?!

Shannon was not only embarrassed, but her face quickly turned red. Fortunately, Arthur's assistant came over to smooth things over and Shannon regained her composure. She maintained a smile and said gracefully, "Mr. Semeraro, you don't have to apologize! You've created several songs tailored just for me and I'm already satisfied!"

"Cindy, please take Mr. Semeraro to the hotel. I'll be there in a bit."

Shannon smiled as she watched them leave and then turned around with anger and jealousy in her eyes as she headed towards the studio.

As Arthur's group left, the studio became empty.

Shannon made her way to the bathroom door but suddenly stopped in her tracks. She stared at the dark door with a cold expression on her face.

After a while, Shannon returned holding a bottle of mineral water in hand. She casually opened it uj and poured it out onto the floor by the bathroom door.

Ranita cautiously stepped out of the bathroom.

“Ranita!” Shannon suddenly exploded with anger causing Ranita to startle which made her lose balance underfoot causing her body to sway unsteadily as if she was about to fall...
