Chapter 47
“Let go of me! Let go! You’re disgusting!” Gianna was so agitated that she was speaking incoherently.
As expected, she was immediately slapped in the face as soon as she said those words.
“Hey, you think I’m disgusting? Why didn’t you feel dirty when you were doing those filthy things abroad? If Blake Young hadn’t
brought us back last night, you would still be lying in that mud pit. Wake up!”
Hearing Caroline’s words, Gianna was stunned.
“Your father drove me out in the rain. Do you think I have to be that faithful to him? Grow up, my precious girl!”
“You two have been h ooking up for a while now, haven’t you?”
“It has nothing to do with you. Why are you looking for me?” Caroline ignored Gianna’s questioning. She slightly pulled at her silk
nightgown, walked to the sofa in the living room, and sat down. Then, she lit a cigarette for herself.
Gianna stared at Caroline, finding her to be so strange.
In Gianna’s impression, her mother had always been the dignified, generous, and noble hostess of the Clarke family in her
eyes.
But now Caroline turned out to be a sl ut, who was addicted to drinking, smoking, and cheating!
It was too hard for Gianna to accept that!
“Mom, tell me the truth. Am I Dad’s biological daughter?”
“Of course, no matter whether your father recognizes you or not, you are the sole heir of the Clarke family. My precious girl, don’t
worry. I will help you get everything you want.”
“But you...”
“You don’t have to worry about me.”
“All right. After calming herself down, Gianna Clarke realized she now had no one else to rely on but her mother.
Therefore, no matter how dissatisfied she was with Caroline, she had to endure it.
“Can you tell me now what you want from me?” Caroline asked.
“I want you to help me take care of Olivia. Ever since she turned up again, my life has been a mess. I have a hunch that
everything will be back on track after she dies!”
“I’m dealing with it for you, but it’s not going very well. Have a good rest first. I’ll tell you if there’s any good news.”
“Mom, are you sure you can help me get rid of Olivia?”
“Silly child, of course, I’ll help. No one who is in my daughter’s way will survive.”
During the time William accompanied Olivia, he had actually been asleep for two hours.
Recently, his sleeping quality has been getting worse and worse. He hadn’t slept so well for a long time, so when William woke
up in the morning, he felt refreshed.
Therefore, he was in a good mood.
However, he didn’t know whether his positive mood came from his excellent sleep or because of Olivia.
Sitting in the president’s office, William’s gaze was fixed on the computer screen, but his thoughts had already drifted away.
He even carefully recalled the scene when he woke up in the morning.
At that time, Olivia was lying beside him, soft as a child without a sense of security. She held him tightly with her small hands as
if she was afraid he would leave her alone.
Besides, the faint fragrance from Olivia’s body made him feel extremely relaxed.
William wondered if Olivia had woken up.
And he wanted to know if Olivia would remember having him by her side when she was having a fever.
But then William denied all these possibilities and reminded himself of Olivia’s poor conscience.
While William was letting his imagination run wild, Marshall knocked on the door and strode in.
“Mr. Kinsman... Mr. Kinsman, why is your face so red? Do you have a fever?”

When Marshall was about to report his latest discovery, he looked up and found that William’s face was red, and the blush had
spread to his cars. Marshall immediately came up to him worriedly.
Being interrupted, William was a little upset. He instantly returned to his senses, and his handsome face turned indifferent.
“What is it?”
“Mr. Kinsman, I’ve got the surveillance footage of the manor. Miss Clarke did appear at the scene of Patrick’s death.” Marshall
felt the pressure from William. He instantly adopted a serious expression and handed over the tablet in his hand. Marshall was
so impressed by William. There was clearly no trace at the scene, but William could actually guess who had
been there!
Marshall was confused and had a lot of complicated feelings, which he didn’t dare to express.
“Destroy them all. Do not leave any traces.”
“Destroy them? Mrs. Kinsman, according to the video, Olivia and the man with her are very likely to be murderers. This is the key
evidence.”
“She’s not the murderer.”
“Mr. Kinsman, you’ve changed.”
“Marshall, I found that you’ve been talking a lot recently. Do you have no work to do?” William’s face instantly darkened.
Marshall looked at him, feeling weak in his legs.
Before William could mention sending him to work in Srence, Marshall had already spoken up to defend himself.
“No, no, no, I’m not free. I think this man in the video looked like a killer. I’ll go and find him immediately!”
Marshall pointed to the man in black on the monitor and then ran out of the office.
However, in less than a minute, Marshall turned back with a red face.
“Mr. Kinsman, there’s one more thing. The Clarke family... Mr. Clarke is here. Do you...”
“Take him to the conference room.”
“Okay!”
Marshall received the order and immediately left. He was afraid he would lose his job if he stayed any longer.
William played the surveillance video he had just copied to his phone and then pressed the pause button when it came to the
scene showing the face of the man in black.
The image zoomed in, revealing the tattoo on the man’s wrist.
As William stared at the tattoo, a bone-chilling coldness flashed through his deep eyes.
“Is it Lone Wolf?” William thought to himself.
“Why would Lone Wolf personally come to assassinate a tired special assistant?
Was Patrick too important, or did they target the wrong person?”
William stared at the woman on the screen, deep in thought.
In the meeting room of the Kinsman Group.
Marshall personally invited Dean into the conference room, and he looked a little uncomfortable.
Dean had indeed been here a few times before, but at that time, the relationship between the Clarke family and the Kinsman
family was better than it was now. Now that one of his daughters was the murderer of Old Mr. Kinsman, and the other had faked
charity to ruin Old Mr. Kinsman’s reputation, Dean was in an anxious situation.
He feared the Kinsman family would destroy the Clarke family at any time.
“Mr. Foster, Mr. Kinsman...”
“Mr. Clarke, please wait for a moment. Mr. Kinsman will be here soon.”
“Okay, sorry to trouble you. After getting the confirmation, Dean finally felt a little relieved. He sat on the conference room chair
and shook his legs uneasily.
Later, the door of the conference room was pushed open, and William walked in with his long legs. He went straight to the main
seat and sat down, as noble as an emperor in charge of all living things.

Seeing this, Dean immediately stood up and carefully approached him. In the end, Dean stopped in his tracks about a meter
away from William and did not another step forward.
“Mr. Clarke, what do you want?”
