The Damned Princess

It’s been three days since we’ve been to the palace. As much as I’d love to be somewhere alone with my mate, unfortunately, that’s not the case. Today is a royal party and we’ve been busy with everything the whole time. Usually, these types of parties are planned months before and our staff manages every little thing but because this one was on such short notice, I and Liam are in-charge of inviting and taking care of guests.

Becky and Jay are in charge of decorations, it’s hard to follow Becky’s orders, hopefully she’ll be a little nicer to my poor mate. V and Daniel are free and they don’t have to do any work because according to my mother they need to rest and spend all the time together like I and Jay don’t.

Anyways, we’ve made sure everything is going smoothly and now all of us are going back to our rooms to get ready. Thankfully my mother loves to take care of what everybody has to wear so at least that we didn’t have to do.

Jay wasn’t in the room but his clothes were here. My mother sent two helpers to get me ready, so I decided to get dressed by the time my mate comes back. I went into my closet and saw a beautiful black ball gown there. It had a glittery bodice blending into the very large bottom of the gown.

I changed into a silk robe and one of them asked me to sit in front of the mirror and they started working on my hair and makeup. Within fifteen minutes they were done and I looked at a very different version of me. They kept my makeup minimal but painted my lips the brightest shade of red, I didn’t mind it so I went with the look. They helped me into the dress and it was beautiful.

The front had a v neck showing a tasteful amount of cleavage and the back was on full display, a very thin pair of straps were holding the gown on me. My mother has great taste when it comes to such things. She also sent a lot of diamond jewelry for me; I just wore a ring and earrings. I’m not your normal girl when it comes to diamonds, I like it very minimal. I also have my tiara which I rarely wear so she didn’t send it today.

I looked at the mirror and saw my mate, standing against the door with his arms crossed and a look of lust in his eyes. The two girls bowed down to him and he gestured them to leave, I thanked them for helping me.

He looked so handsome in his black three-piece tuxedo, making every inch of my body tingle. He took quick steps towards me and grabbed my waist. “I’ve never seen anything as gorgeous as you” he whispered and kissed my lips before I could reply.

My breathing was very heavy when he pulled back. “You look quite okay too” I whispered and he chuckled. He held me with one hand and very lightly stroked my skin with his finger making the hair at the back of my neck stand. My spine tingles with the slightest of his touch.

“I don’t want to leave the room Amore”, he said and kissed his mark on me making my body shiver. “Enna” came Becky’s voice from outside. Jayson groaned making me laugh. “Come on” I grabbed his hand and lead him out.

She was wearing the exact same dress but in red and it looked a thousand times sexier on her. “Don’t girls hate to wear the same types of outfits”, asked my mate? I smiled “we aren’t your normal girls, we always loved to wear the same type of clothes”. I looked at her and asked, “but I told mama to get you something unique because you’ll be the queen now and you need to stand out”.

“And I told her that I didn’t want to stand out”, she said rolling her eyes. V and Daniel also came to my room. V’s gown was also the same but it was dark blue and she didn’t look less than anybody and Daniel looked really handsome as well. She was almost back to her normal self and was very excited for her first royal party.

Liam came to the room looking all dashing in a tux, “come on, mama want to see you, girls, before we head to the party”. We went to my mother’s room and the guys went downstairs, to my father to make sure everything is running smoothly.

My mother looked like a real queen, she was wearing a body fitted golden gown, and her crown proudly placed on her head. She was beaming with happiness when she saw us, “you girls look so beautiful, all eyes are going to be on you”.

“Now, I know Enna you don’t like it but you all have to wear your tiara, it’s an important day”, she said and placed Becky’s tiara on her head and adjusted it properly. I was next in the line, “I can’t tell you how happy I am, my little princess is doing everything I’m asking her to” she said and I rolled my eyes.

“Violette, my child why are you standing there, come let me put your tiara on you”, she said. We didn’t need to tell anybody how important V is for us; my mother knew that she’s family now. V was very surprised, “but I’m not a princess”. “From the moment you came into my children’s life, they see you as their sister so you’re my child now, which makes you a princess”, mama told her.

V had tears in her eyes, “thank you so much for giving me all this love your highness” she said. Mama kissed her forehead, “highness is for outsiders, you call me Lavinia”. V hugged me and Becky and then squealed with excitement, “I’m a princess you guys” making us laugh.

We went downstairs and all the men were waiting outside papa’s office and there were a lot of guards waiting to escort us. My mate looked at me possessively and came forward for me, like a gentleman he gave me his hand. All of us followed the king and the queen into the ballroom.

Everybody silenced on our entrance and when they stepped onto the stage, everybody bowed down, including us. My father spoke, “I’d like to start with apologizing for inviting you all on such short notice, I know you ladies need time to finalize your dresses”. All the women giggled and I could see mama rolling her eyes, my father might be very old but he has all the charms.

“The occasion was too special for me and my family and we didn’t want to waste any more time announcing it. Amore, Jayson come join us here” he asked us. My father held my hand and kissed the back of it, he had tears in his eyes “as you all know my little princess, has been through a lot of hardships”.

“But all of them over now and she has found her prince charming, her mate, Jayson Hunter, the only man who could love her more than I do”. “I hate that he’s going to take you away from me but I know you’ll be so happy”, he said and a tear fell from his eye. I wiped it off his face and hugged him tightly.

“I’m not taking her away from you, your highness, she’ll always be your princess, but she’s also my queen now”, said my mate. My father looked at him proudly and hugged him as well. “Becky, Liam come over here” papa called them on the stage.

“The next best happiness I’ve been gifted with is the joy of being a grandfather. My son and his mate will be becoming parents and I can’t express in words how happy we are. Also, they are ready to replace me and my beautiful mate and become the better king and queen, very soon the ceremony will be taking place” he said and the crowd applauded.

I could see how proud and happy my parents were. The crowd was told to enjoy the party and loud music was played. We all went on the dance floor as well. As I was dancing with my mate, he asked me “why’s everybody staring at you like you’re from another planet, I mean you look gorgeous but there’s a look of wonder in their eyes”.

I smirked, “I’ve never been the normal princess. I hardly ever attended these parties and if I did, I’d come in my normal clothes. My mom and Becky would be so mad at me sometimes, but my father and Liam were very happy, one less lady they have to protect from the world’s stare” and he laughed.

We all danced together, ate a lot, and had the time of our lives. The party was on a full swing the whole night but we left early. All six of us went to the private garden of our wing and were sitting under the moonlight, sipping wine. I texted Cris and Piero to join us, and they were here in a few minutes.

“I don’t want to take over the responsibilities just yet Li, I want to go back to California with everybody and live the life we never did in the past few decades”, said Becky. He kissed her head and told her “I know babe, that’s why I’ve convinced father to put my coronation on hold for a few years”.

Becky jumped up and screamed, “Oh my goddess, really Liam, you’re the best, I love you so much” and we all laughed at her. She pouted “what, aren’t you guys excited”. I smirked, “your mate can’t convince father without me Becky darling”. She screamed even more, “you knew, oh goddess, I love you guys”. “It’s time we explore the world in the right manner”, Liam said and we all raised our glasses.

It’s been two years since we came back to California. It was hard for some time, to make V’s and Jay’s parents understand a few things, but we are in a happy place right now. We bought a new house, much bigger and much more lavish than the last one and the people living in it makes this one feel like home.

We all were back to college because it was important for V and Jayson, we enrolled Cris and Piero with us after we moved them here with us. This is our final year, after this Liam and Becky will be going back to the palace, Jayson will be taking over his father’s business and Daniel has started his own automobile company.

Becky gave birth to a precious little girl, Amiyah. She’s one and a half years old and my parents are spoiling her more than they ever spoiled me and my brother. I was scared to even go near that child, I couldn’t stand the thought of tainting her purity like I once did.

But she’s so precious and so much full of love, I couldn’t stop myself for very long. I love her more than my life and I’d do anything for her without thinking twice, but I always check with Becky once.

After a few months of us being here, we officially became a pack. We all took an oath to stand by each other through good and bad, to be loyal to each other before anybody else, and to always take care of one another.

We take breaks every few months and go to a different country always. We are exploring the world with a new eye now and it couldn’t be any better.

My mate has been getting more attention from girls now and I can’t tell in words how hard it has been to not kill some of them. To the lycan world, we are mates and nobody would dare to approach us in that manner but the human world doesn’t understand this.

So, he wanted to marry me the human way. He proposed to me a few months ago, in the most romantic but simplistic manner. I have a huge diamond sitting on my finger and I love the look at girl’s faces when they see it.

Today is the day we get married, in a beautiful church in Rome. All of our family and friends have been invited. We wanted to keep it small but both of our families wanted to throw a huge party. So, we decided to keep the wedding just family and the reception will be held next two days, one for all the lycans and one for all the humans, and everybody they wanted will be invited.

I’ve not seen my mate since yesterday morning because we are trying to do things in a traditional manner. He didn’t even see my dress and I’m very excited to see his reaction when he sees me in a few minutes.

I’m wearing a beautiful white lace gown. I’ve worn enough princess ball gowns so I didn’t want to wear something like that. It’s a fitted lace dress, the front was covered but the back was sheer lace. It has a long train attached to it, and the veil is even larger than that. I just wore earrings and my engagement ring but my mother didn’t forget to bring my tiara.

Mama and Papa had tears in their eyes when they saw me. Becky and V are both my maids of honor, Rayn’s girlfriend Layla and Dylan’s girlfriend Hazel were my bridesmaids and my precious Amiyah is my flower girl. Daniel, Li, Dylan, and Rayn were groomsmen for Jay.

I was all ready to walk down the aisle. The music started to play and the bridesmaid and groomsmen took their positions. Amiyah did her job pretty well and it was my turn. I was getting really nervous now.

Both my parents will be walking me down the aisle and I was standing holding their hands. We started walking to where my handsome mate was standing and our eyes met. He didn’t move his eyes away from me the whole time.

My father placed my hand in my mate’s, “I promise I’ll bring all the happiness of the world in your daughter’s feet sir” Jay promised him and they hugged. I could see a few tears slipping from my parents’ eyes.

Jayson grabbed my hand and looked in my eyes and whispered, “I can’t believe how I got so lucky to get a girl as beautiful as you”, making me blush. The priest started saying his prayers and then he asked us to say our vows.

He spoke first, “from the moment I first saw you, you had my heart, Amore. You’re the most magical person I’ve ever met and you’ve filled me with your magic. I’m so glad that you can feel what’s in my heart because no words are enough to express my love for you”.

“You’re the strongest woman and don’t need anybody to protect you, but I’ll still always be standing with you, making sure nothing bad ever comes close to you. My priority will always be to make sure that you’re happy. You’ve always been the princess and from now on you’ll be my queen”.

A few tears of joy fell from my eyes and he gently wiped them off my face. I cleared my throat, “Jayson Hunter, you’ve turned my world upside down from the day you made an entrance. You enlighten my darkened soul, you make me want to be good, there’s not one moment when I don’t thank the goddess for blessing me by giving me a mate like you”.

“You’re my prince charming, my friend, my mate, my life and I promise to stand next to you during all the phases of our life. I’ve loved you from the moment I saw you sitting in the cafeteria, with a look of annoyance on your face and I’d love you forever”.

We exchanged the rings and the priest announced, “I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss your bride”. My mate didn’t need to be told twice and he pulled me in for a very soft but passionate kiss.

We were already one soul when we marked each other but I’m very happy we did this ceremony as well; it feels like now our families are bonded together as well. This was one of the happiest days of my life and I hope the goddess keeps us blessed like this forever.
