The Curse of a Silly Deal

Chapter My love

EMILY KING POV

I gasped and tried to back away only to realize that I am trapped between him and the door behind me.

My heart pounded in fear.

No one ever puts fear in me.

He took a step towards me. I wanted to scream but realized that it was a useless effort.

My room is soundproofed.

He raised both of his hand and put them beside my head.

Trapping me completely.

I swallowed the lump in my throat as I look at him with fear.

“Why are you not screaming, my love?” He smirked.

“H-how did you come here?” I stammered.

Knowing that he can appear in front of me anytime is incredibly horrifying.

“I have my way.”

He grabbed my shoulder, and instantly, we disappeared.

I groaned in annoyance.

I have to think of a way to deal with Blake.

Again.

Now, I need to know what the stranger wants with me.

I don’t understand why he keeps calling me ‘My love’.

What a weird stranger.

“Agh!”

I cried out in surprise when we come to a sudden stop.

After composing myself, I look around the place and notices that we are in a bedroom.

A huge bedroom.

Well, we are standing near the king-sized bed.

There was a small coffee table at the centre of the room and a few beautifully decorated sofas around it.

There was a door leading to the bathroom on the left side.

I guessed that there was a study room on the right side of the room.

Well, the door was slightly open, and I can’t help but take a peek.

A few beautiful natures painting decorated the wall.

A bright chandelier hangs at the centre of the ceilings illuminating the whole place.

There were a few cabinets placed beside the wall containing precious treasures and books.

I guessed.

Uh-well, they look precious to me.

Curiosity killed the cat, but it won’t kill me, right?

I turn around to ask the stranger why he brought me to his bedroom.

But, he was nowhere to be found.

I heard a shower being turned on and guessed that he’s gone to the bathroom to take a shower.

What the...?

He hasn’t explained to me why he brought me here!

And instead of explaining, he went to take a shower!

Wait!

Why is he taking a shower?

It’s only four in the afternoon.

An illusion of him coming out with a bath towel on his waist appeared in my mind.

PAH!

What am I thinking?

A smirk crept up my face.

Well, don’t blame me for escaping.

He didn’t even handcuff me to the bed or tied me up.

“Are you gonna stand there all day or sit?” A husky voice asked.

Startled, I run towards the door. But, the stranger was faster than me.

He grabbed my waist and threw me on the king-sized bed from the door.

What the hell?!

Luckily, the bed was super fluffy and bouncy.

If not, my waist would have been divided in two by now!

Coming back to my senses, I try to escape once more when he growls and pins me against the mattress.

Waah! What a beast!

My whole body tensed up not only because of his body on top of me. But because of the strong grip, he had on my wrist.

My face went pale.

No one ever scares me enough like this.

It looks like he has full control over my body.

“Let me go! You’re hurting me! Oww!” I screamed when he tightened his grip.

“I dare you to leave me!” the stranger threatened in a deep, low voice.

“You’re crazy,” I stated.

My eyes went red and ready to burst anytime soon.

No one has ever made me cry.

After my parent died, of course.

“Whatever you say.” He smirked.

“What-” I was about to retort back when he let go of me.

Blood rushed back to my face when I look at the delicious meat in front of me.

The stranger stands at the side of the bed with a towel hanging on his waist.

Now that the hood is gone, I can see why my body rejected my order.

That is, don’t get attracted.

He was perfection. His face was beautiful, his body is perfectly built, and he looks like a Greek god himself.

“Done checking me out?” He smirked at my reaction.

Yes.

Okay, maybe not.

His smirk and wicked smile make my body heat up into a high temperature.

I sat up and looked at the floor to hide my blushing face.

No one has ever made me blush.

Stop it! He’s a jerk! Remember, he stabbed you!

All of my embarrassment disappeared in an instant when I recalled what had happened.

I look back at the stranger only to find him gone.

Again?

Huffing, I stand up and walk towards the study room.

I pushed the door open and saw a big room quite similar to the place my brother uses to do his work.

I walk towards the table and notices an open envelope on it.

I’m curious. Extremely curious.

I glared at the envelope and gritted my teeth, trying to control my curiosity.

Ah! I give up!

Grabbing the envelope, I glance at the door before opening it.

My hands tremble when I read the first pages of the paper.

Kill the Zoliat king and queen.

It can’t be-

“Ah!”

A pair of arms circled my waist before it pulled me backwards and made me sat on the person’s lap.

I turn around to find him on my back, making my cheeks flush red.

Ugh! Stop it, Emily!

“What are you doing, Emily?” I shivered when my name rolled out of his tongue.

He said it really close to my ear and made my heartbeat increased.

“No-nothing,” I stuttered as a few droplets of water fall from his hair and landed on my face.

“What did you see?”

My body trembles in fear.

“Why?” I asked and fought the sob threatening to burst from my mouth.

“Why what?” he asked back.

“Why did you kill my parents?”

He didn’t answer my question. Instead, he gazed into my eyes and watched as tears streamed down my cheeks.

I struggle to move away from him, but he pushed my head against his chest. Shushing me.

I stopped my struggles and cry.

In front of a stranger who I didn’t even know.

The stranger who stabbed me.

Who killed my parents.

Who kidnapped my younger sister.

Who made me deal with my brother.

The only one who ever left scars on my body.

I let out all of my frustration against his chest, hitting him with my fist. Tired of all the struggling and the depression inside me, I drift off into sleep.
