Winter blinked, puzzled. "It's not that unusual for someone from Collosus Group to come by. They visit almost every few days."

"But this time it's Mr. Wells, one of Mr. Hoffman's closest associates," Jane said excitedly. "He's here because of Collosus Group's year-end party."

"Collosus Group's year-end party? What does that have to do with Royal Star?" Winter asked, still not seeing the connection.

She knew Royal Star was a

subsidiary of Collosus Group, but its operations were mostly

independent, and the relationship was not very direct. Winter did not understand why Collosus Group's year-end event would be of such significance to Royal Star,

"You probably don't know this since you just signed with Royal Star this year, but every year, Royal Star sends a few representatives to Collosus Group's year-end party to perform.

"Being selected to perform at

"You want me to attend this year's party?" Winter's eyes lit up. Even though she had been with Royal Star for a few months, the company had mainly focused on arranging drama roles for her, with little else in the way of promotional activities. Winter had been a priority at her previous agency, but at Royal Star, she felt somewhat sidelined, which created a psychological gap she found hard to bridge.
