The Bird and The Dragon

The nocturna were the dropship force deployed to Watergate to fight the dragons. The end of the world killed their artificial intelligences and shutted their connections to space. One of the lost artificials was the tactical situation awareness Alpha-9, whose voice used to speak in every soldiers’ ear implant, reassuring them the situation was under control.

Old Alpha-9’s symbol is a white hoop on the right earlobe. This old is believed to bring clarity to decisions and to provide visions of distant actions and futures. On the other hand, people whisper old Alpha-9 was one of the key players in the chain of actions forging the end of the world. This old is a symbol for both the wisdom and madness in the world where future visions may be a result of a genetic coincidence ensuring detailed, subconscious calculations.

Some claim the nocturna are still looking for a complete copy of Alpha-9’s database. Other say it has been found and it is in operation in the remains of Watergate’s network.
