ANNA'S

POV

I don't know why my body doesn't feel like getting up this morning, I forced myself to get up because I didn't want to be late for my work. I immediately went to the bathroom to wash up, a few minutes later I came out of my room and as I expected Thea was gone, I just made coffee and after I finished breakfast I immediately went to my room to work.

As I expected, when I arrived at the company, Drake was not there. I immediately went to my table and started working. A few minutes passed and I didn't realize it was lunchtime.

"Anna, let's go," Mitch urged and Elsa and Diego were also with him. I set my table first before joining them.

We were all quiet until we ordered food. We were in the middle of eating when Elsa suddenly started talking.

"It's tiring today with so much to finish," she began.

"You said more," agreed Mitch.

"You Anna, how are you?" Diego answered suddenly. I slowly looked up at them. A few seconds passed before I answered.

"Ahm... I'm okay, don't mind me." I answered and went back to eating.

"I heard a while ago that Sir Drake is on a long leave, it looks like he has something important to go to," Elsa said.

I stopped listening to their conversation because the sadness in my chest seemed to grow more and more when I heard their conversation. I looked into the void and it was as if the universe was synchronizing with my sadness. The sky is gradually darkening and heavy rain is looming.

After a while, I finished my meal. I don't know why I feel like I just want to finish my work today and lock myself in my room.

"Ahm.... I'm going to the office first, I still have something to finish." They all turned their attention to me when I spoke.

"Ah, is that so, Anna, be careful," Elsa answered and I nodded. I immediately stood up and waved to them before I finally left the restaurant. I immediately went to the company and sat at my working table.

The long hours of work passed and the surroundings gradually darkened. While I was typing on my computer, the woman suddenly spoke and announced that we could go home. I looked at the big mirrors from outside and just now realized that it was raining heavily outside.

I looked for my umbrella in my bag but couldn't find it. Looks like I left it at Thea's condo.
