The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart

Chapter 909

Chapter 909
Brittany felt a tremor in her chest as she saw the genuine fondness and anticipation in Yuri’s eyes.
From the moment of her birth, she couldn’t recall ever being treated this way. As if her arrival in this world was something to be
celebrated.
Not like Robert, who seemed to find every opportunity to scorn her!
Upon reaching the DNA testing center, Brittany and Yuri went through the motions and provided their samples.
While waiting for the results, Yuri started to inquire about Brittany’s life over the years. The outcome was not yet known, but he
was already convinced that Brittany was his daughter.
Brittany was a bit overwhelmed by his enthusiasm. She was about to respond when her cell phone buzzed in her pocket.
It was Katelin.
“Bri, where have you gone? Why aren’t you back yet?”
Katelin was fraught with worry when Brittany didn’t return.
“Grandma, I’ve got something really important to sort out right now. You go back first, okay?”
Hearing that Brittany was safe, Katelin breathed a sigh of relief. “Alright, dear.”
After hanging up, Brittany met Yuri’s gaze and found herself at a loss for words.
The results were in within two hours.
The doctor personally delivered the report.
Yuri, trembling, opened the document.
After just one glance, his eyes welled up with tears, and after a long pause, he embraced Brittany. “My dear girl, I’ve finally found
you.”

Brittany, held in his arms, felt her mind whirl with confusion. She wanted to push Yuri away, but his embrace was warm, just like
she’d imagined a father’s would be.
Leaving the testing center, Yuri calmed down from his earlier excitement. “Darling, come home with me. From now on, your dad’s
got your back.”
Brittany hesitated. “But I...”
“My dear, don’t you want to know about your mother and me?”
Of course, she did!
After a brief hesitation, Brittany agreed. “Okay.”
Yuri led Brittany back to the Lynette Mansion.
The butler greeted Yuri with a respectful “Mr. Lynette.”
Upon seeing Brittany following behind, he asked curiously, “Mr. Lynette, who might this be?”
“Brittany, my daughter,” Pride filled Yuri’s voice as he declared these words.
The butler’s expression shifted from shock to composure. “Mr. Lynette, you found your daughter?”
“Yes. Alert the others; I want to announce this great news tonight.”
Yuri was eager for the whole family to know that his daughter had been found.
Brittany stood behind Yuri, neither haughty nor humble.
The butler, well-versed in reading people, could tell she was well-educated.
“Mr. Lynette, I’ll see to it right away.”
“Prepare the third floor for her. From now on, it will be hers.”
Yuri wanted Brittany to stay by his side.
Hearing this, Brittany sensed something amiss. “Sir... Mr. Lynette, I don’t wish to stay here.”

In her world, Robert was her biological father. For years, she had doubted her parentage, even suspecting she might not be his
real daughter – that would explain the mistreatment. But then, evidence proved they were blood-related. And now, the truth
revealed that Yuri, standing before her, was her biological father!
It was all too sudden, too much for her to accept.
The formality of “Mr. Lynette” caught Yuri off guard, freezing the smile on his face. After a pause, he dismissed the butler.
Turning to Brittany, he asked, “Why don’t you want to stay?”
Brittany licked her lips nervously. “The truth is, I’m married, and my career is all in Imperial City. I have no plans to settle in
Craneville.”
Yuri frowned. “Who is your husband? Does he treat you well?”
He hadn’t expected Brittany to be married, but then again, she was thirty – it made sense.
“My husband is very good to me,” Brittany replied truthfully. “We came to Craneville for a sort of honeymoon.”
Seeing the resolve in Brittany’s stance, Yuri knew better than to rush her.
