The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart

Chapter 875

Chapter 875
Brittany clenched her fists tightly, her knuckles turning white. if this was the truth, then what about all the affection Grace had
showered her with over the years? Was it all a facade?
Every little moment they had spent together recently was now under intense scrutiny in her mind. Brittany couldn’t even bear to
think about it. What did her genuine feelings amount to if this was the case?
And what about Grace’s repeated favoritism?
If Grace had known about Joie’s true identity all along, then was this whole five-year indulgence a sinister setup?
Brittany sat in her car, the howling wind piercing through her, sending a chill down her spine that could induce shivers even on
the hottest summer day.
Upon arriving at the hospital, she spotted Noel
“How is it looking?”
Noel’s eyes were rimmed red with worry, “Brittany, you think they gonna be okay?”
Brittany tried to be reassuring, “They’ll be fine.”
Noel was young but he was a man, and he quickly composed himself, noticing Brittany’s pallor.
“Are you alright?”
Brittany, mustering up her strength, shook her head.
They waited outside the operating room, a grueling three hours passing before the surgeon finally emerged.
Brittany instinctively stepped forward.
But a sharp, pulling pain in her lower abdomen stopped her. She dared not move, fearing that any movement might bring her
world crashing down.
“Doctor, how’s Isaac Salter?*

The doctor’s expression was somewhat gentle. “Mr. Salter has a laceration in his lower back and abdomen. Thankfully, the
shrapnel didn’t go deep and missed his spine, but he’s lost a lot of blood. He’ll need rest.”
Noel let out a sigh of relief, ready to relay the news to Brittany.
Suddenly, a loud thud sounded behind him
“Ms. Dustin!”
Brittany, who had been off since the beginning, felt a surge of tension release from her mind upon hearing that Isaac was out of
mortal danger. However, as relief washed over her, the pain in her lower abdomen intensified, nearly suffocating her.
Drip, drip, drip-
Blood was falling, blooming like a flower on the floor.
Noel realized what was happening and bellowed, “What are you waiting for? Get her to the operating room, now!”
Trouble never came alone.
Just as Isaac and Grace had escaped death’s clutches, Brittany was rushed into surgery.
As Noel stared at the pool of blood, his heart constricted with worry.
Was Brittany pregnant? Could the baby still be saved?
:
The Salter family had been struck by tragedy, and Wesley Tueley and others rushed over, with Hannah also arriving.
Upon learning Brittany was in surgery, she nearly fainted, grabbing Noel. “What in the world happened?”
“Brittany is pregnant. The stress may have stirred up the pregnancy...” Noel stuttered, “The doctors are on it now.”
Hannah kicked the wall in frustration, “Where is Joie?”
How did that lunatic manage to escape from Isaac?
“She’s dead.”

Noel had just received the message from the bodyguards.
Hannah felt a rush of dizziness, struggling to stay on her feet.
Derek stood by her side, waiting for news.
The operating room light flickered on and off, mirroring the tempestuous night in Imperial City, destined for chaos and bloodshed.
Isaac was the first to come around.
His injuries were not severe, and his robust health helped him regain consciousness quickly. His first thought was to find Brittany.
Noel didn’t dare to tell him Brittany was still in surgery and deflected, “Don’t worry, Brittany is just dealing with some things right
now. Just hang tight.”
