Patrina spoke in a gentle voice, looking truly remorseful, which made Finn feel a pang in his heart.

Why was it Patty who had to apologize when it was Brittany who had messed everything up?

Loraine frowned. "This has nothing to do with you. I'm not going to pick a fight with the Dustin family."

Patrina watched Loraine leave, her eyes full of anxiety: "Finn, should I not have brought my sister here? If Ms. Field is unfriendly to her," "Then she deserves it!"

Sydney was certain that Isaac had no idea about Brittany; otherwise, how could he marry her?

"You're saying Zac was deceived?"

Loraine found it hard to believe. Isaac was so intelligent; how could he be deceived?

Sydney looked troubled: "My cousin married Brittany, who once plagiarized your work, and somehow won his favor. He probably doesn't know Brittany's true colors, or else how could he marry someone like her? Loraine, you've been friends with my cousin for many years. You can't just sit by and watch him be deceived."

Loraine picked up her skirt and left. Sydney hadn't expected her to refuse. She quickly spun around and went back to the banquet.

When Brittany and Hannah stepped into the Field family's home, it immediately caused a stir.

"Isn't that Brittany? She once plagiarized Loraine's work; how could she dare to show up here?"

"I don't know! I heard she was kicked out of the Dustin family long ago."

"What a publicity hound!"

Sydney feigned concern and asked loudly, "Brittany, you really showed up? This is the Field family's place. You once plagiarized Loraine's work; how dare you show your face here?"

At this point, Hannah rolled up her sleeves, ready to fight: "Sydney, watch your mouth. Bri never did anything dishonest from the time she enrolled until graduation! The truth about that competition hasn't been fully investigated yet!"

To Hannah, Sydney was the most disgusting person she had ever met.

Brittany coldly stared at the crowd, some of whom she even recognized.

She took a deep breath and said coldly, "I'll say it again: I did not plagiarize."

"If you didn't plagiarize, how did Loraine's design end up with you?"

Sydney sneered. She thought of Brittany as a low-class person who thought she could climb up with her cousin's help. She told herself, Let's see if Isaac still wanted her after tonight. Patrina and Finn walked over. Patrina looked worried. "Sis, you should apologize now."

"Yeah, Brittany, saying sorry doesn't cost you anything, you know. If you screwed up, you screwed up. That's a fact."

Finn was livid. If he had known Brittany was shameless, he wouldn't have dated her in the first place.

"Why should I apologize?" Brittany retorted. "You guys are just looking for reasons to frame me!"

Someone enraged, picked up a champagne bottle and hurled it at Brittany. "Brittany, I've put up with your crap for years. You still have no shame; you can go to hell!" Hannah was shocked. "Bri, look out!"

Brittany just stood there, frozen, as the bottle flew towards her.

A black Rolls-Royce pulled up. Wesley, dressed in a pink suit, got out of the car, arm in arm with a young starlet. They were jesting with each other, looking quite smitten. Then the other car's door opened.

Isaac stepped out, his expression cold.

"Let's go in."

"Go ahead and enjoy yourself. We'll head home together later."

The three of them walked into the Field family's home one after another, Wesley's starlet companion tactfully staying silent.

As soon as they entered, they heard the commotion.

"What's happening?"

"That woman who plagiarized the lady's work showed up. They're causing a fuss!" The servant's words dripped with sarcasm.

That cheap skank who made a name for herself by plagiarizing and daring to show her face in public she's got some nerve!

At this, Wesley immediately thought of Brittany. His expression changed instantly.
