The Beta and His Runaway Werefox / ✔️

Chapter Epilogue | To Love A Wolf

Two Years Later.

The feeling of her dress swaying around her legs caused a small giggle to leave her lips as she stared at herself in the mirror. The summer dress that Harvey had given her fit perfectly, and she loved everything about it. It was yellow and bright and everything she was, and she loved Harvey even more, knowing that he picked something out that was so perfect.

Taking one last look at herself, she left their room and made her way out of the packhouse. She had finally adjusted to her role as the female Beta, and with the help of Xenia, she has done her job as perfectly as she had expected herself to do.

It had been two long years since that day, and despite Kyra’s developed PTSD, she has grown and gotten past a lot from that day. Her growth made Bella feel like a proud parent, and she felt even happier knowing that Sherry had accepted being Luna and stepped up as well.

Jesse and Grace had finally married and moved out of Xenia and Vincent’s house, and so did Liam and Christy. Liam spent most of his time with her family so that she was not entirely isolated from the human world.

Everything was perfect, and nothing could take the smile off of her face. She jumped the last step and made her way outside, and followed the path towards her tree, where Harvey requested to meet. Bella did not know what he was planning, but from what she could smell, the food smelt divine.

A wide grin spread across her lips as she made eye contact with Harvey, his body casually leaning against the tree as he opened his legs and made her sit in between them so that her back was against his stomach.

They sat in silence for a few minutes, Harvey playing with her fingers as she enjoyed the breeze. “I love sitting here with you and all, but why did you ask me to come here?”

Harvey hummed. “Do you remember the first time we sat under this tree together?”

She nodded. “I had an anxiety attack, and you helped me calm down while we watched the warriors train.”

Bella felt him grin against her shoulder while he kissed her mark. “You were so beautiful and naive. I realised then that I loved you, that I will always love you and that nobody would ever hurt you when I am around.” He then paused as his hold tightened. “That promise I made to myself was broken, and seeing you like that-”

“That was two years ago. I am fine. Everyone and everything is fine.”

He sighed, his hug giving her more comfort as she could not take the grin off of her face. “I have something to ask you.”

She hummed this time, knowing his question, thanks to Kyra. “Can I see it?”

“What!”

Bella felt herself giggling as she felt him stiffen. “Can I see the ring?”

“How do you- wait!” He stopped himself before he growled. “Kyra!”

She laughed, watching him pull out the ring from his pocket before taking her left hand and slipping it through her finger. The ring reflected off of the afternoon sun as she smiled down at it. “I love it.”

“So that is a, yes?” He questioned as she nodded, turning her head up to kiss him just as they were interrupted.

“HARVEY! BELLA! HELP ME!”

They both groaned, turning their attention towards a stressed-out Jesse. “What is it?”

“It is Grace!”

Bella sat up with a concerned frown. “What about Grace?”

Jesse heaved, his face falling pale. “She is pregnant, and Xenia is trying to kill me!”

“Oh my god!”
