Chatper 491
Chapter 491 Seems to Have Seen Madam’s Figure
Early the following morning.
Rosie woke up promptly with the first rays of daylight, her determination clear. It was to prepare a hearty breakfast for Elias.
However, as she finished her morning routine and stepped into the kitchen, she overheard the chef murmuring that Elias had
already left Winters Estate and he might not return to the mansion all day.
“It’s not even 8 a.m. yet. Where could Eli have gone? To the office?” Rosie couldn’t help but
ask.
Beside her, the chef shook his head. “I’m not sure. Mr. Jones mentioned that Mr. Winters seemed to be searching for someone,
but I’m not privy to the details.”
Finding someone?
It must be Amanda!
Rosie clenched her fists and gritted her teeth. Hadn’t the hypnosis worked last night? Why is he still so fixated on finding
Amanda?
She left the kitchen and immediately dialed her psychologist. Once the call connected, she unleashed her frustration, “Is your
hypnosis even work? Why did he wake up so early to search for that woman? Why isn’t he focused on me? What’s your
explanation for all of this? If your hypnosis is causing this, you better not continue, and don’t expect to receive the remaining
payment.”
The psychologist on the other end of the line replied calmly, “Don’t rush to blame me. Just tell me if that man spent the night with
you.”
“He did, but so what? It hasn’t stopped him from seeking out that woman.”
The more Rosie mulled it over, the angrier she became. If she had known this would be the outcome, she wouldn’t have
consulted this psychologist. It seemed utterly useless, and she had squandered a significant sum of money.
“Well, isn’t that sufficient? It is already yielding results. You can’t expect me to erase his memory of that woman, right? His life
will go on, and he’ll continue with his responsibilities. However, his attitude toward you has changed, and that’s the desired
effect. With these changes in his attitude, you can develop a deeper connection with him, understand?
Rosie narrowed her eyes. “How do I cultivate that?”

“Miss Rosie, you’re not one to be clueless about love. Must I really school you in this? Staying by his side is your priority now. As
long as you’re with him, he won’t develop any aversion toward you. He may come to see you as considerate. Regarding the bell I
gave to you, refrain from using it haphazardly. It can disrupt a man’s mental state, possibly leading to
hallucinations and nightmares.”
Upon hearing the psychiatrist’s advice, Rosie felt reassured, a smile gracing her lips.
So, that’s the way of it.
Nevertheless, Rosie retained her haughty demeanor as she retorted, “Very well, I’ll give it a shot. If he still refuses to accept me,
I will hold you accountable. You won’t escape my scrutiny!”
With that declaration, she promptly terminated the call.
For a prolonged moment, Rosie stared at Elias‘ contact number on her phone before finally mustering the courage to dial it.
The call was answered. A masculine voice emanated from the other end, inquiring. “What’s the matter?”
“Eli, I originally intended to prepare breakfast for you. Why did you leave so early? I heard
you have a busy day ahead. Could we possibly share dinner tonight? It’s been a while since we’ve had a meal together.”
that
After conveying her request, a profound silence hung in the air, making Rosie doubt whether she would receive a response.
Yet, just as she was losing hope, Elias‘ voice broke through, saying, “Sure, meet me at Paradise Night Club tonight. I’ll be there.”
“Great! I’ll be there on time!”
Upon ending the call, Rosie nearly leaped with elation. Her heart brimmed with joy!
It appeared that Elias‘ attitude toward her had indeed undergone a significant change, and she was determined to seize this
opportunity.
First, she would indulge in a beauty treatment and don an exquisite dress before rendezvousing with Elias later in the evening.
In the evening.
In recent days, Elias had scoured tirelessly for any sign of Amanda, his frustration mounting.

There was no record of her leaving the country, and it seemed she hadn’t even departed from Imperia. Yet, he remained unable
to uncover any trace of her whereabouts.
Inside the club, he downed one glass of wine after another, attempting to drown his sorrows in alcohol.
Then, as if on cue from the previous night, that international call rang again. Without hesitation, he answered, greeted by the
same youthful voice.
“Mommy!”
“Aiden, it’s daddy.” He couldn’t bring himself to break the news of Amanda’s absence to Aiden. He feared it would haunt the little
one’s dreams.
“Daddy, where’s Mommy? I want to talk to Mommy.”
“Mommy’s not feeling well, Aiden. We need to let her rest for a couple of days, okay? Can Daddy chat with you instead?”
“What’s wrong with Mommy? Is she sick? I really want to talk to her! I don’t care!” Aiden grew increasingly anxious. His reliance
on Amanda had been a constant since he was a toddler, and the thought of her being unwell distressed him deeply.
Elias hadn’t expected such strong affection from such a young child. It underscored the close bond Amanda and Aiden shared in
their daily lives.
With patience, he comforted Aiden on the phone. “Don’t worry, your mommy’s just tired. from work, so she decided to sleep
early. I’ll make sure she calls you tomorrow, okay?”
“Okay. Since Mommy’s sleeping, let’s not wake her up. Daddy, when are you and Mommy bringing me back home? I miss
home.”
His heart softened instantly upon hearing this sentence, tinged with a touch of pain.
Elias replied, “We’ll come to get you as soon as Mommy is feeling better, okay?”
“Yay! I’ll wait for you here! I promise to be good and listen to Mr. Yacob.”
Aiden’s well–behaved nature tugged at Elias‘ heart. He couldn’t help but smile and good; wait for me to pick you up. Make sure
to go to bed early.”
“Mhmm.”
After ending the call, the smile vanished from Elias‘ face, and he fell into deep contemplation.

He had to find Amanda quickly and uncover why Aiden had ended up in that mysterious

mansion in New Montana.
Suddenly, the door to the private room swung open.
The man glanced up and realized it was Rosie.
Although he had no particular interest in her, an inexplicable impulse urged him to be more cordial.
“Eli, I didn’t expect to find you here.” Rosie adopted an innocent and naive expression, pretending to be a gentle, unassuming
figure as she walked into the private room.
“Yeah.”
“Why hasn’t the food been served yet? You’ve already had quite a bit to drink, and it’s not good for your health,” Rosie remarked.
Her gaze fell on the wine bottles spread across the table as soon as she entered. It appeared that he had already emptied half a
bottle.
Elias replied nonchalantly, “It’s fine. I’m not in a good mood, so I thought a few drinks might help.”
Suddenly, his phone buzzed, and he answered the call. The bodyguard on the other end of the line sounded excited as he
reported, “Mr. Winters! Our team seems to have spotted someone who looks remarkably similar to Madam at the Dream
Nightclub. Would you like to check it out? I’m on my way there.”
“I’ll be right there! Wait for me!” After speaking, Elias promptly stood up and glanced at Rosie. “You can have your meal alone as
I have something important to attend to.”
Watching his anxious expression, Rosie felt a pang of disappointment. She retrieved the small bell the psychiatrist gave her from
her bag. Though she wasn’t supposed to use it, her determination outweighed her reservations.
