Chapter 14 - Weylyn's POV
The rest of the day went by even slower. When dinner came around, I entered and saw Siofra talking to Katherine and Korina. She was so focused on their conversation that she hasn’t even noticed that I was in the room. Hell, I didn’t notice my beta sitting beside me till Kieran pointed it out. I was jealous for sure. Why do girls talk so much? What are they even talking about?
Once supper was over, I then went back to my room. A good shower will be nice. Once I was cleaned, I headed over to Siofra’s room. I knocked but no one answered. I opened the door and she wasn’t in her room. The only place I could think of where she would be is with Kieran. I am mad. I can’t blame her, she can’t help the mate bond which makes her attracted to us both. But he can keep his hands to himself. She is MINE! With that, I shifted to my wolf and bolted to the forest.
I had to run and get my mind straight. I wanted to kill Kieran. If I killed him, Siofra would never talk to me again. I decided to go back to my room and sleep. I will privately talk to Kieran in the morning. I woke up to my alarm going off. I didn’t hesitate to get out of bed. I quickly went to go get dressed. Kieran and I needed to talk. If this keeps up much longer. We would rip each others throats out and Siofra would get hurt.
I came to his door and knocked. He slightly opened it. Already her scent invaded my nostrils. I wanted to give in to my wolf. ‘Stay calm… Stay calm… Stay calm…’ “We need to talk right now!” I said with venom lacing my words. It didn’t take him long to get ready. We went to the dining room. Breakfast would be ready in another hour and that gives us plenty of time.
“Just so you know, I really want to rip your head off your shoulders. How dare you touch what is mine,” I said. He fucking laugh. “Your kidding right? Yours… Let’s not forget that she is my mate too. What we do together is none of your business mutt!” he said while growling at me. This made my jaw clench. However, he had a point. “So Mr. Fang Man, what do you suppose that we do? We can’t go on like this,” I asked him.
He was silent for a couple of minutes. I was silent too. “We have only one other option. Something that will complete part of the prophecy. We have to complete the mate bond. We both need to mark her,” Kieran stated. I just nod my head. “I will marry her first before we mark her,” I said sternly. He smirked. “Make that the two of us.” “When do we pop the question to the lucky bride?” I said smiling.
