The Alpha’s Obsession with his Ex-Contract Luna

Chapter 143

Chapter 143 Charlotte’s mind was in chaos. This was unexpected, especially when she had already separated from Tom. Since her return to the packs, he was the only man who had slept with her, as her advances towards Alpha Nick had failed brutally. “How can I be pregnant?” Charlotte asked in confusion. Goliath misunderstood her confusion and replied, “Unless you are a virgin, the possibility cannot be erased, right?” “You don’t understand,” Charlotte smiled bitterly. Having a child was never in her plans. “My plans failed and Tom left me. How can I raise a child alone?! don’t know how.” The thought of a seed growing inside of her scared her, and the worst part was that she was partly a rogue, as she did not officially belong to any pack now. Thanks to Sheridan, Charlotte had lost everything. “Then marry me and let’s raise the child together,” Goliath said out of the blue. Charlotte stiffened but was not upset. “Marry you? What about your mate? You know how dangerous I can be when I want something I am not the kind of woman who can be with one man.” She knew that if given the chance, she would still go after Alpha Nick. He was her mate after all, and yet, she had chosen Tom over him. Now, he was happy with Sheridan, and Charlotte could not get over her loss. Goliath, knowing she would refuse, did not seem offended. He only wanted to stay with her and help her, but if she refused, then she was going to live on her own “So, what do you plan to do?” Goliath asked. Strangely, Charlotte was now thinking things through carefully, no longer the one who made hasty decisions.

Her pregnancy hormones were great at causing those changes in her. “It has not even been confirmed that I am pregnant, and you are already thinking about what to do. What if I’m not?” Charlotte questioned. Goliath sighed and decided to prove it to her. “Let me call the herbalist to check, but I researched on Charcoal. She is evil but can turn good when there is the presence of a child.” “Let it be confirmed before I think about what to do,” Charlotte said defeatedly. There were already changes in her that she did not like. It was easier to be a bad girl than a good one. Having morals and living right was far more difficult than taking the shortcut. The end was always not good, but she never intended to change until now, when everything seemed forced. Goliath mind-linked the herbalist, and when he was done, he said to her, “He is on his way, but what do you intend to do with Alpha Nick and Daisy?” “What can I do? Can’t you see how powerless I am?” Charlotte was annoyed by the question, and her voice was already weak. Goliath was not satisfied because Charlotte had not gotten her revenge and suggested, “You could kidnap her for revenge.” Recalling having seen Sheridan with Daisy in the human world back then, he never imagined Daisy was Alpha Nick’s child. Chapter 113 Now that it was so, he could not let Charlotte shoulder the humiliation alone, but Charlotte had had enough. “Were you not at the war? Do you really want to take something that belongs to a man like Alpha Nick? Charlotte questioned. “Well…” Goliath could not answer the question, so Charlotte did so for him. “I have learned my lesson. I have to find Tom to give him the good news. Can you help me?” She asked. She was not happy with this but knew Tom would be. “Do you have his address or mobile number?”

Goliath asked, Charlotte shook his head. Though Goliath was good at finding people like he located Sheridan, he was not ready to do the same with Tom. ⠀⠀ “No,” Goliath replied. Charlotte thought carefully as she lifted herself to a sitting position, suddenly knocked by a wave of dizziness. “But Alpha Nick’s beta is good at finding people. I wish he could help.” Sitting by her side on the bed, Goliath tried to stabilize her. “You want to go to the Dark Moon pack to ask for his help? The herbalist is here.” He moved away for the herbalist to do his job. “What is it again, Goliath? When are you going to get her out of the pack? She smells trouble,” the herbalist said with disdain. He was upset because of the people they lost during the war because of Charlotte. “Check if she is pregnant,” Goliath said, but the herbalist frowned. “Isn’t it obvious? She’s pregnant” Charlotte’s heart sank as the herbalist confirmed her pregnancy. Goliath asked further, “Can you tell for how long?” The herbalist checked Charlotte’s palms and eyes. “It’s at least two months. I can give you herbs to get rid of it since you don’t look like a good mother,” he said directly, and Charlotte’s heart ached strangely. Initially, she would not have taken offense by a statement like this. “I won’t get rid of it, but if I have been pregnant for so long, then why did Charcoal appear?” She asked, and the herbalist went into deep thought. “I don’t know, but don’t you remember anything from the time you went into a coma?” He shuffled a leaf in his palm and rubbed it on her forehead. “This should help you to remember the things you are not allowed to remember.” Charlotte was instantly in a trance. “I heard voices. And they asked me to choose.” As if something had just pierced into her mind, more information poured out, and she recalled them vividly, wishing she hadn’t. “Oh, hold on. Yes. I was asked if I wanted to stay or leave. If I leave, then I had to be a good

person.” “If you are here, then it means that you chose to be a good person,” the herbalist analyzed and wiped the concoction from her forehead. “That is hard for me. I don’t know how to love or do anything good,” Charlotte spoke dejectedly, wondering why she agreed to be good. She should have died instead. “Then you can start by loving the child in your womb,” the herbalist suggested, and Goliath supplemented. “Sheridan’s coronation is in two days. Will yo you take advantage to attend and request Tom’s number?” He asked. wed; Ty: Chapter 143 Charlotte did not immediately answer the question but rather asked, “Can I become a member of this pack? I have nowhere else to go” 32.57%D “If you become a member, then you can never go back to Tom. I think you should think about it,” Goliath said seriously, though he would have been happy about it. Charlotte’s mind was a mess, her head ached, and she massaged her temple thoughtfully. “Please give me some time.” “For a pregnant woman, you have a month. If it were you alone, three days,” the herbalist said and left. Two days later, which was a day before Sheridan’s coronation, Charlotte woke up to fearful news from Goliath. “Good news. We have been able to steal Daisy. Do you want to see her?” Charlotte panicked, having hot flashes as sweat covered her body like rainwater. “What? Do you want to die?”
