Chapter 52
“You better have good news, Caspian,” Queen Helen said, seeing her son arrive at the king’s office.
As if she were the king, she sat on Balthasar’s seat. Her mate, Alpha Blaze, sat on the chair across the table.
“Did you do it, Caspian? Son?” Alpha Blaze asked. “Did you destroy all the fire root plants?”
Caspian smiled from ear to ear. He lifted his chin and proudly revealed, “I did more than that! When I reached Mount Nefarious, I
crossed pathed with Kieran Stone. He was after the fire root.”
“I knew it! It was Alpha Kieran all along! But how did he manage to get the king out?” The queen wondered bitterly.
“He must have helped from Beta Ford, my love,” Alpha Blaze suggested. “Since the beta had gone missing, we can assume his
involvement in this.”
“Caspian, please tell me you took care of Kieran?” The queen inquired.
“Most definitely, mother. Kieran Stone is dead. He sl*pped into the crater’s center while trying to race after me. I distracted him,
and he wound up falling down!” Caspian eagerly reported. “I killed him, mother, father. I killed Kieran Stone! Haha!”
Queen Helen’s eyes widened. Her smile reached her ears. She was so happy that tears rolled down her cheek. Kieran had
always gotten in the way of her plans unknowingly. Without him, she and Blaze can finally push through with their plans.
“Oh, Moon Goddess! Thank you!” The queen praised. “Thank you for answering my prayers!”
“This is good news, son, but what about the fire root plants? Did you destroy them all? Kieran may be dead, but others will try to
take it to keep Balthasar alive,” Alpha Blaze sought.
“Don’t worry, father. I took care of it. I destroyed every single living fire root plant in the crater. There is nothing left! The king will
die eventually, and I! I will be king!”
The family of three celebrated, hugging each other. After taking it all in,

the queen said, “Now, it’s time to follow through with our plans. First, we must announce Beta Ford’s betrayal – abandoning his
responsibility. We will also declare how the king has been kidnapped by Kieran Stone, so no other pack will help him in Taplean.”
“The doctor said the king will only have one week to live. Let’s give it one month and then formally announce the king dead and
declare Caspian king!” Helen happily expressed.
“I can’t wait, mother,” Caspian remarked.

“Me too, son. I can’t wait,” Helen replied with a smile. She turned to her mate and said, “Blaze, take care of your divorce, please.
We will slowly introduce the idea to the people how you had been my constant aid in the king’s passing, and then we fell in love.”
“That’s a great idea, my love,” Blaze replied. “I’ll divorce my wife first, so they will not suspect us when we publicly announce our
relationship.”
“Yes,” Helen said, maintaining her smile. “With Kieran gone, no one can stop us. We will hold power in Taplean.”

“What what did you say?” Kieran asked, wanting to clarify things.

“Alpha, Luna Alexia is pregnant,” Morgan repeated. “She is not sick – well, morning sickness always goes along with the early
stage of the pregnancy. Your wife is three weeks pregnant. With the signs that she is showing now, also, given you both have
alpha blood, Luna alexia will give birth after six months.”
“See, Alpha? There is nothing to worry about,” Ace comforted Kieran. Seth did the same.
Learning of this, Kieran walked over to Alexia, k*ssing her and hugging her. He said, “I’m going to be a father.”
Alexia nodded, saying, “Yes, you are.”
“I’m going to be a father!” He said again, this time, louder than the last.
Alexia and everyone around them laughed at Kieran’s reaction. Alexia repeated, “Yes, you are! Kieran, you already have your
alpha heir!”
“Congratulations, Alpha Kieran!” Seth praised.
“Congratulations!”

The surrounding warriors and the king’s guards praised and wished for the couple. Even if, in the ment state of Laplean, many
things were uncertain, with Alexia being pregnant, Kieran found more strength. He will protect his wife and child and stop at

nothing to resolve the accusations against him.

“Don’t move. Don’t walk. Just let me do everything. Kieran suggested while carrying Alexia in his arms. “Thank goodness
Morgan spared us a room for your convenient rest”
Alexia laughed, saying, “Kieran, I am pregnant. I did not become disabled!”
“I just want to ensure you won’t ship anywhere, tall or trip. I worked hard to get you pregnant,” Kieran remarked, making Alexia
laugh thoroughly.
When Morgan learned of Alexia’s pregnancy, she asked the warriors for help, cleaning up one room from her house to
accommodate Alexia and Kieran. Morgan had previously turned it into one of her store rooms, but it was good enough for Kieran
since it had a decent bed. The room became tidy that same night.
After settling Alexia to sit on the bed, he kneeled before her, studying his wife. He looked around the modest room that would be
their home for the next few days until the king returned to his original health. It was humbling compared to what he could offer
Alexia back at the Stone Blood Pack.
He then returned to observing Alexia. His gaze landed on her stomach, but mostly, he lingered on her delicate face. Soon, he
asked, “Are you okay with this, Alexia?”
“We planned the baby, Kieran,” Alexia replied.
“I know, but I am no longer an alpha. I am a man without a name or property, and the palace had ordered my bank accounts to
be frozen. Thank goodness I left money at the packhouse, but the money I have won’t sustain us if this problem persists,” Kieran
described. “Will you be okay being pregnant with our situation?”
Alexia stilled. Even the money that Kieran had set aside for her, the queen also had frozen.

Caressing her husband’s face, Alexin said, “As long as I am with you, fil be fine our baby and me. That’s what matters that we
are together. We can get through this.”

She rested her forehead on his and claimed, “Your title is not essential me, Kieran you are.”
Kieran sucked in a breath. He lowered his frame and k*ssed Alex’s belly Then, he k*ssed Alexia’s l*ps. When he pulled away, he
said, “Thank you, Alexia, for being at my best and my worst. I will never forget this day, this time of my life, how you stayed with
the despite it all.”
“Shhh. What are you talking about? We are in this together. Don’t forget how the queen is also targetting me, naming me a ba
stard child, Alexia reminded.
He nodded, taking his hand. “You are fight. We are in this together, and we’ll get through it.”

Alexia gave him her back, and she lowered her pants and underwear. Seeing her beautiful bum, Kieran hissed and k*ssed each
bottom check while his fingers caressed her rose.
Kieran knew his wife was trying to hold back, especially since their room wasn’t soundproofed. She often looked at him
desperately, silently telling him she adored how he stimulated her.
“I love it,” barely a whisper, she said.
It encouraged Kieran further that he thrust his finger inside of her. When her entrance became so wet, Kieran hurriedly
unbuckled his pants. He palmed himself before testing the wetness of Alexia’s pink hole.

“I love you, Kieran,” Alexia replied.
Days passed, and Kieran received an important call from the Stone Blood Pack. Clayton, one of his best warriors, had decided to
remain at the pack to look after the members and the younger warriors. On the phone, Clayton reported, “Alpha Blaze is already
here. He is giving ridiculous orders, but I am trying my best not to defy him.”

“Play it by ear, Clayton. You know how to deal with these situations. Remind everyone to act neutral,” Kieran instructed.
“Yes, Alpha, “Clayton replied. “You should know that the queen accused you of kidnapping the king. Now, a more serious crime
had been pinned against you. Although, there were talks about you being dead, Alpha. That worried us all, but we knew you
would not die easily.”
“You are speaking to me now, Clayton. I am alive and well,” Kieran replied. He described what happened at Mount Nefarious,
resulting in the palace believing that he was no longer a problem to deal with. “I think being dead is the answer to our problem.
At least the queen will not seek me out. So let me be. Tell only those that you trust how I am still alive.”
“Roger that, Alpha. Then, there is one other piece of news. The Paternity Test returned for Luna Alexia and the king,” Clayton
supplemented.
Hearing Clayton, Kieran’s skin crawled. He replied, “Send the report to the Cross River Pack. I want Alexia to open it herself.”
