The Alpha’s Contract Luna alexia By Lian

Chapter 26

Chapter 26
-Alexia-
Chapter 26
“Alexia, you also need to rest. It’s already two in the
morning,” Kieran said, but Alexia did not hear him for some reason. She was in so much pain, seeing her friend Melissa’s
condition, that everything around her turned mute.
She repeatedly applied medicine to Melissa’s wounds as tears flowed down her cheek. “You are going to be okay, Mel. You are.”
Melissa was a stubborn girl. Alexia could only imagine how much she had fought back, and that she was the one who received
the most beating.
“Alexia!” Kieran called again. He stood three meters from her, blocked by wounded pack members who the doctor and
medics attended.
“Alexia?” This time, it was Melissa who spoke. “Your husband is calling you. He is right. The nurses are here to help me.
Besides, mother is not in bad condition. She can look after me.”
Despite being weak, Melissa smiled at Alexia, saying, “You lucky bit ch, you got a hot alpha as a mate – Uggh!”
Alexia wound up chuckling. Her friend was in pain, yet she managed to make a joke.
Melissa’s parents also urged Alexia to take some rest. It had been hours since Kieran had taken over the pack. Ace found
Melissa’s and Dean’s family locked up in an underground prison cell by the forest.
Chapter 26
It shocked Alexia. She did not even know that such existed! It wasn’t just Dean’s and Melissa’s family, though. There were
others. Kieran’s appointed spies and their families, too.
Alexia suddenly had difficulty swallowing how her father was capable of torture. He may not have been the one who did the dirty
work, but it was clear how he was aware. It may even be his command.
Now, that same prison held her father, Drake, and those who opposed Kieran.

All the wounded were brought to the center of the
packhouse. A tent was set up to make it easier for doctors, nurses, and medics to go around and attend to everyone’s needs.
Moreover, the small hospital in the River Cross Pack already had patients admitted and could not accommodate. those injured
during the fight.
“I’ll see you tomorrow, Mel, uncle Alex. Aunt Kate,” Alexia said before weakly leaving Melissa’s side and finding her way to
Kieran.
With her eyes falling, she said to Kieran, “Let’s go -”
Without warning, Kieran carried Alexia in princess style. She unwittingly wrapped her arms around his neck in the
process.
A faint smile formed on her face. She said, “Kieran, I don’t want to stay at the packhouse.”
“We’ll be staying at the local hotel. Ace had already reserved a room for us, but... it’s just one room. You can take the bed. I can
take the floor,” Kieran said as they walked to the nearby
car.
Chapter 26
Alexia was silent the whole drive, thinking about how Kieran could sleep on the floor. Minutes passed, and they arrived at the
local hotel.
Cross River Pack did not have lavish hotels like in Kieran’s pack, nor were the rooms big. So when Alexia and Kieran made it
inside the room, they were both disappointed to find only a meter of free space, and the same was connected to the bathroom.
On the bright side, they offered a king-size bed.
Alexia turned to Kieran and suggested, “We should... share the bed.”
“Hmmm.” Kieran plainly said. “I won’t say no.”
It was Alexia who first bathed. After changing into her pajamas, she climbed onto the bed and waited for Kieran. As she did, she
called Rae. They talked about Dean’s condition and how Kieran had already taken over the pack.
“Dean is doing better, Alexia. Assure your friend and his family,” Rae replied. “You should take some rest. It’s late. Tomorrow is
going to be a big day, especially for Kieran.”
“Thanks, Rae. It’s good to hear that,” Alexia replied. “Please tell Dean that his family has been saved.”

“I will,” Rae replied.
Just as Alexia was saying goodbye to Rae, Kieran walked out with only a towel wrapped around his waist. Immediately, Alexia
felt her throat dry up.

She had seen Kieran n*ked after shifting, but this was completely different. She gulped as she studied him briefly.
Chapter 26
Kieran had beautiful tattoos that covered his left chest,
stretching down to his left arm. To his right, the same art commenced from his forearm and down to his wrist. His shoulders were
broad, and she could say the same about his chest.
He had a slender waist that made him look all very athletic. As the stories said, Kieran had scars all over his b*dy. Some had
even cut through the art on his arm. She spotted two noticeable claw marks and a few stab marks. There were a few that she
could not decipher what caused them.
“Kieran, did you get all those from the war?” Alexia asked.
While still on his towel, Kieran made his way to Alexia. Seeing him up close made her tense. Her eyes widened as she fixed on
his chest. ‘Goddess!’
Kieran sat in front of her and, pointing to his scars, said, “This big claw mark was from my uncle. I fought him off to get back my
pack. The other claw mark was from my first fight in the war.”
One by one, Kieran described how he got the scars. Then, to his brow, he said, “This one was from when I tried to save a girl
under attack outside the pack. She was Rae’s friend. I just happened to check the borders when it happened.”
Then, out of nowhere, he asked, “Do my scars disgust you?”
Alexia was stunned by the question. She unknowingly touched Kieran’s brow. Her fashed flushed as she answered, “No, your
battle scars make you look beautiful.”
Realizing what she had said, she gasped. She swore her ears were burning. ‘What the hell did I say that for?’
Chapter 26

“Hmmm.” For the first time since knowing Kieran, she saw a
genuine smile on his face. “I supposed you should get used to seeing me – all of me.”
He got up and went to his bag, fetching his sleeping attire for that night.
Alexia was left dumbfounded. His words echoed in her head repeatedly. ‘I supposed you should get used to seeing me all of me.’

Alexia turned to the other side, giving him privacy as he changed into his pajamas. Then, out of nowhere, he asked, “Have you
thought about the new contract?”
“Um.” Her heart fluttered, but after earlier’s event, Alexia was inclined to agree. When she saw how upset he was towards Drake
and Beta Edward, even on his deathbed, it gave her an idea of how Kieran earnestly cared for her.
‘I just wish he would say those words,’ she thought silently.
Alexia felt the bed dip. Knowing that Kieran took the other side of the bed, she turned to him and their eyes locked. Again, Alexia
blushed. She cautiously lay beside him and answered, “Yes, I have... thought about it. I am not yet ready to have a child, Kieran,
but I agree on your terms.”
“Will you allow me time to be ready? I shall tell you when I am prepared to have a child,” she added.
“Hmmm.” He let out a low growl. Alexia could not determine if it was out of displeasure or contentment, but soon he said, “Then
you’ll sign the amendment when we return.”
They both lay on each other’s side of the bed for seconds. Alexia could tell Kieran was still awake. On the other hand,

she was contemplating if she had decided correctly. Before she knew it, however, Kieran rolled to her side and asked,
“Don’t I get a reward for saving your friend and their families?”
His eyes landed on her l*ps, and Alexia instantly understood what the man wanted.
She gulped. Her heart was going wild. ‘Goddess.
