Chapter 34
Thorin
“We begin landing soon.” I said, thanking the moon goddess that we were almost off this flight from hell.
“Thank goddess.” Emmett sighed.
“Finally,” Kelly agreed.
“It wasnt that bad.” Jonas said, earning a glare from everyone.
The pup did not stop talking. And after an especially long, cramped flight, silence was the best answer. I carefully landed us on a private property, one owned by a wolf. I had called ahead to see where I might land without drawing too much suspicion. We were a few miles from the forest, but there was no way I could safely land in the a****n. Plus, the evil plant doctor never told me where in the a****n we would be going. It was beyond massive, impossible to search without a destination.
“Let’s find somewhere to sleep and we can begin our journey in the morning,” Kelly said. She looked exhausted. She was a trooper. This was no easy flight.
I began unloading our things, handing out our bags. We each had two to carry. One big, one small. The smaller ones had some basic survival gear and the larger ones were filled with whatever each person felt necessary.
“There is a stretch with some hotels that way.” Emmett said, pointing in the direction of all the lights.
“How do you know that?” Jonas asked.
“Because, unlike you, I actually did my research into the places we were visiting.”
“Not true, I told you I’m a diplomat. I can speak half a dozen languages and know all kinds of information on tons of creatures.”
“I believe when I see,” I said, walking towards the lights Emmett pointed to in the distance.
Half an hour later, we were checking into a hotel that had many half-naked people strutting around. It seemed like some sort of celebration was happening. I adverted my eyes as much as possible, but it was hard not to look when every other woman that walked by was dressed in nothing more than a bikini.
“We only have one room available, our most expensive room actually. It’s the master suite on the top floor. It has a lovely view of the sunrise.”
“We’ll take it.” Kelly nodded. “How many beds are there?”
“Three.”
“Of course,” Emmett laughed to himself.
“Thorin, you’re with me tonight.” Kelly said, taking the key and leading the way to the elevators.
Thank Goddess.
“What? Why him?” Jonas objected.
“Because of the three of you, he is the only one who didn’t spend the entire flight talking or huffing and rolling his eyes.” She snipped, looking between Jonas and Emmett. “Now let’s go.”
We made it up to our room in silence, tossing our bags to the side while Kelly divided up the rooms. Ours was the largest of the three, having a massive king-sized bed. As soon as I shut the door behind us, Kelly let out a long sigh, her shoulders sinking.
“You are tense.” I said, coming up behind her.
“It got stressful that last hour.” She said, cracking her neck. “Those two just wouldnt stop.”
“Come.” I said, pulling her towards the bed.
Kelly kicked off her shoes and followed along, discarding her pants, socks, and bra along the way. She collapsed on top of the bed, letting out a content sigh this time. I was not too far behind her, stripping of everything except my boxers and t-shirt. I climbed on top of her, straddling her lower back, before beginning to massage her neck and back.
“Oh my goddess…” Kelly practically m****d out, melting into the mattress.
I chuckled as I continued to work on her back. I thought she was almost asleep, but surprised me when she started trying to turn over. Carefully, I got off of her and onto my side of the bed.
“Your turn.” Kelly said, pulling me back towards the middle. “You flew for two days almost non-stop. If anyone deserves it, it’s you.”
I wasn’t about to argue. I lay on my stomach and Kelly climbed on top of me, working out some of the tension in my back. Goddess, the things I wanted to do with this woman. But I refrained. For now. However, I don’t know how much restraint I will have by morning.

Throin helped me unwind enough to fall asleep soon after we finished giving each other massages. Unfortunately, when he helped me relax, another part of me came alive. I had some very erotic dreams, with not just one but multiple suitors. When I woke up, I realized my panties were soaking wet. Oopse.
“Did you sleep well, Solnyshko?” Thorin asked, his eyes still closed.
It was then that I realized that I was tangled in the sheets with him, one of his legs between both of mine.
“Fine, thank you.” I squeaked out, knowing darn well he knew better.
“You were moaning in sleep.” he added, flipping us around so I was now beneath him. His eyes were black. “I can make dreams reality.” He said, kissing my neck.
“Ohhh….maybe just a little.” I said, my lips meeting his. I found that I had very little willpower when it came to saying no to my own s****l desires, especially with one of my crushes.
I could feel Thorin’s length on the side of my leg, making me want him even more. Instead, his hands roamed my body, one slipping down beneath my panties. I gasped when he quickly pushed two fingers inside me, my body clinging to him.
“Shh.” Thorin said, putting his free hand over my mouth to keep me quiet while his mouth worked it’s way from my neck to my breasts.
I arched my back, thankful his hand was there to keep me quiet. I was already wet from my dreams, this was going to send me over the edge fast.
“Kelly? Are you up?” Jonas asked.
Thorin chuckled quietly and I removed his hand from my mouth to answer. “I’ll be out in a few minutes.” I said, my voice wavering as Thorin sped up.
“Okay…I was gonna grab some of the free breakfast, did you want me to wait for you?”
“I’ll meet you down there.” I bit out, my walls clamping down on Thorin’s fingers, sending me into pure ecstasy.
“Alright, I’ll save you a seat.” He said before finally leaving.
Thorin smirked, pulling away and out of me. “We should get ready now. Today will be long day.”
“Right behind you.” I said breathily, pulling my shirt back down.
“Take time, Solnyshko,” he said, heading for the shower.
I got up a minute later, feeling very ready for the day. Our hotel room was empty, minus Thorin and I. I used the other bathroom we had to quickly get ready and made my way downstairs for breakfast with Jonas. I had no idea where Emmett went, hopefully he didn’t bail on us.
“God morning gorgeous, sleep okay?” Jonas asked, handing me a coffee.
“Fine, you?” I asked, sipping the wonderful hot liquid.
“Not bad.” He smiled. “Dr. Who went to go check out the area about an hour ago.”
“Oh, okay.” I nodded. “Did he say where we would be heading?”
“Nope. I hope this guy knows what he’s doing.”
“I wouldn’t have invited him if he didn’t.” I said confidently. “Now, let’s eat, this might be the best food we get for a little while.” I laughed.
“Oh joy…” Jonas chuckled.

Emmett
“Um, excuse me, have you seen this flower?” I asked what felt like the hundredth local.
I wasn’t about to tell Kelly that while, yes, I did know the moonflower was native to the a****n rainforest, I had zero clue as to where in the a****n we would find it. I figured I would come across a local who would know something, but I have been out here for over an hour and no one seems to have any clue what I’m even talking about.
“There you are!” Kelly exclaimed. “Are you ready to go?” She asked, Jonas and Thorin in tow. Everyone had their bags, and mine, and looked ready to set out.
“Um, almost.”
“Almost?” Kelly pressed.
“Okay, so we know the flower is in the a****n, but we dont know where exactly.”
“Right, but we have a general area, right?” Kelly asked.
“Not exactly…”
“Oh goddess.” Jonas huffed.
Thorin rolled his eyes and continued to survey the crowd while Kelly looked ready to blow a gasket.
“Youre telling me this now?” She hissed.
“I thought I would have had answers by now!” I exclaimed.
“Don’t bother, I’ll figure it out myself.” She said, disappearing into the crowd.
Jonas was hot on her heels and Thorin not too far behind. I followed along like a lost pup, wondering what Kelly planned on doing. She was looking around at all of the locals, her eyes fixating on a young boy. She made a beeline for him and we all followed.
“Jonas, can you interperate?” Kelly asked. “Portuguese is the primary language around here.”
“You got it.” He nodded.
Kelly began asking the boy a bunch of questions while Jonas interpreted. Maybe that was why no one even spared me a glance. I wasn’t even speaking their language. The boy talked fast, but Jonas kept up well, I think. He pointed us in the direction of an older man who was selling flowers by the edge of the forest. He wasn’t there earlier. Kelly and Jonas spoke with the man, handing him a fifty, before he drew a map on a piece of fabric and sent us on our way.
“There, we have our map.” Kelly said, handing the fabric swatch to Thorin.
“How did you know the boy would know where to go?”
“He reminded me of Kylie. And I figured he would be easy to talk to. The older man was his grandpa. He said he has only ever seen the moonflower once in his life but this was the way to it.”
“This is at least a three-day journey, we must get moving.” Thorin said, heading for the treeline.
“Keep up boys.” Kelly said, jogging ahead.
