Chapter Book One :- Part Twenty Nine
His eyes moved over to the hand that was wrapped around his wrist, making him turn around so fast only to come face on face with a still sleeping beauty. His heart crashed, he expected to see her at least looking up at him but not at all yet. He felt his heart hurt and shattering with all the hopes of this moment. His other hand moved over to her touch and carefully unwrapped her fingers from around his wrist.
He held her soft fingers and knelt down next to the bed, placing his other hand on top of hers and stared at her.
He heard lots to say but somehow they seemed stuck somewhere deep in his throat. He pushed the strands of hair out of her face, and laid her hand on his side carefully before standing up back on his feet.
A knock came on the door and that grabbed his attention, he buried his hands deep in his pocket and stared at the door which was being opened slowly.
"Aveline " he whispered as she pushed the door more openly, her dark eyes moved over to Larissa before going back to her boss.
"I couldn't find you in your office, that's why I came here " she whispered looking up at him. He seemed to have not had any sleep in like ages. His tie hang lose and his hair was all disorganized. Her eyes moved over to the files on top of the table reminding her of why exactly she was here.
"Vicente Broccoli is back in the basement but this time we managed to get a very important piece of information from him" she whispered lightly and this grabbed his attention. He needed to make every one of them that worked with Sergio to regret ever laying there plans around Larissa.
He walked over to the couch and sat down slowly then used his hand and patted the place next to him "sit" it was more soft than his usual commands. It didn't matter minute or hour his eyes could never leave the woman that lay on bed silently, she never talked much but still he missed those little words.
"Details?" He questioned after Aveline settled down next to him
"Lavina Maurotti, she's in the country. On 16th of this month she's going to blow up our ware houses no. 4 and no. 6. We have a few betrayers within us that work for her and give out our information but also boss she said she can stop all this when you marry her " Aveline said and looked up at him to see his reaction but there was nothing at all. His eyes were still on Larissa and only her not even bothering to look away he whispered " Am already married". Aveline stared at him wide eyed and her mouth dropped "Tell Marco to monitor ware house 4 and Gianni Ware house 6. Tell them to make sure all there men are ready to look out through every tile and tunnel" he added bring her out of her thoughts.
She stood up then nodded his way to the orders, she was at loss of words, her eyes moved to Larissa before she turned around and walked out the room.

A few strands of her blonde hair stuck in her face while a tear dropped. All her life, she loved only him but he never even dared to notice. Since childhood he was the only man she thought about.
She found the main door open and a few medical equipments were being led in, she walked out and looked up at the sky. Maybe it was time to forget that stupid love and with that she rubbed away her tears.
He had watched the doctors install everything but little did she even move her fingers. He wasn't able to do any work but kept looking at her, he sat at the dining table with his sister but less did he eat, he walked back in to his room and walked in to the bathroom.
He stripped and stepped in to shower then turned the tap on allowing the water to flow
'I won't leave Gaetano' her voice rang through his ears and her smile played in front of his closed eyes.
The way she had come into his life, he remember the way moon lit up her face exposing her beauty.
The way she collapsed in his arms while they were getting out of ware house.
The way her grey eyes locked up with his for the first time, their first normal talk in the elevator where he first smiled at her.
The touch of her hands on his body were things he was still missing out when it comes to her.
He was cold and not soft but now he was just like jelly. He couldn't think beyond her, he stepped out of the shower and grabbed a towel drying up his body. He pulled on his leather pants and moved out of the bathroom drying his hair. He threw the towel on the floor an old habit he would never get rid off then walked over to his side of the bed and pulled the duvet a side before sitting down.
He placed his phone at the bed side table and turned off the lights then got under the covers pulling himself next to her before laying his head on the pillow staring at her face.
Staring at her become the only comfortable thing to do as he waited for sleep to arrive
