The Addiction Series

Chapter Book One :- Part Eleven

"We meet soon Conzalato" Sergio said and turned around with men getting in to cars

Though she had said threatening words but deep inside she still held the fear. She couldn't help the tears as the gun slipped out of her hands landing on the floor with a loud sound. She felt the rushing of blood making her vision blur and every where spinning.

"Rissa.." She heard Mia's voice but it felt like it was far away like it was being muffled by the wind as she lost it landing on the floor.

"Rissa wake up please" Mia said kneeling right beside her friend. She had finally managed to get out but apparently she was late. Gaetano carried Larissa away from her and Mia stayed on the floors with tears in her eyes.. Was she failing her brother??

Gianni placed a coat on top of her lingerie making her look up at him.

When his blue eyes met with her brown orbs the same tingling feeling he always gave her hadn't changed.

A few memories played in her mind but she shrugged them off. It wasn't time to drown in the past.

She followed them back inside as Gaetano walked over to the elevator getting eyes from every one on only him.

He took her to the fourth floor where the room were and placed her mostly likely in one..

He didn't know why but seeing her like that something stirred in him. He wanted to run to her but her friend beat him to it.

He sat in the dark on the couch that lay on the side of the wall watching her. Only a bedside table lamp lit up the room.

It was a mixture of dark and light and he sat in the far corner of the dark. Her hair sprayed on the pillow like pencil lines on an artist's board.

As usual her lips parted slowly and his eyes moved over to the grey eyes he had been accustomed to but apparently they were closed. Her tan skin glowed with the lap light.

To him now he saw a broken beauty who needed to be shown some love.

Looking at the side, his eyes closed when painful memories of Fatima came rushing back.

Her gold wavy hair and her dimpled smile were of the few things that he couldn't get out of his mind.

The way he held her bleeding vulnerable body that night. He held her tight as if he was hiding her from death.

A few tears falling down his face, Ever since that day he vowed to never love again but someone was starting to break that.

His eyes darted back to the figure that lay helplessly in bed.

"Shit" he cursed the stupid memories for bringing the pain making him hide his face in the depth of his palms but that wasn't helping at all.

He stood up and stumbled out of the room, he wasn't stable any more. Hiding behind cold stares was pain, pain that can't be scratched.

His was drowning in his memory, it was all his fault. He couldn't have exposed an innocent girl in this kind of life but now it was late. He deserved pain

He deserved her death not her. He pulled his phone out of his back pockets and dialled the only person that he knew would help.

"Boss.."

"Meet me in the basement" his voice was shaky before he hung up.

He stumbled in to the elevator and leaned back allowing himself to drown in his failure and stupidity.

The doors pinged making him open his eyes before he stumbled in the lit up basement.

Marcos sat at the far end of wall looking at his phone before he saw him. He knew it just as he thought to himself, he knew that the hidden side of broken Gaetano is back. He pushed himself off the floor and walked over to him where he leaned on the wall.

"Come get me" he said and Gaetano smirked, Marcos always never failed to know what he needed at the moment.

He threw a first punch but Marcos dodged it going for his stomach making him groan.

She stirred slowly but groaned in pain making her regret her decision to move. Her eyes open slowly before she absorbed the darkness and the lamp.

The sparking headache got her frowning before she sat up slowly.

Her eyes moved around the room and they fell on him. Even from the slight darkness she could make out his sharp jaws and his beautiful blue eyes but this time they held emotion.

She felt her heart freeze at his sadness. "Gaetano " she whispered and he turned to look at her not even bothering to hide his vulnerability.

She looked around the room again and saw the switch in a far side wall next to the door.

Her feet moved over to the side then came in contact with the carpet as she stood up.

"Larissa.." She didn't reply as she walked over to the door..

"Don't leave me " he whispered a painful whisper that made her heart crack "please " he added.

She couldn't deny any more that she was starting to feel for him except the different

Circumstances of there meeting.

He watched her as she walked away from him before she stopped and switched on the light. He blinked a few times and then looked back at her.

She turned around and looked at him. He had bleeding knuckles and broken lips with a bleeding nose.

Her heart almost stopped at his sight before she looked around and noticed the bathroom door. She was trying so hard to breath and mostly avoiding any panic attacks that always tormented her at the wrong time. She walked in to the bathroom and searched through a few cabins before she saw the first aid kit.

She walked back in to the room and squat in front of him mostly between his legs as she placed the kit on the floor.

He watched her sadly cause still he had no words. He had already said what he felt to her, he didn't want her to leave him.

She held his hand and felt a few electric sparks fall out on his touch. Her beautiful eyes locked with his blue sad ones and then the questions he had been trying to avoid all night came running back Was he ready to let another girl in to the world's of his danger??
