Chapter A nightmare
Roseline POV
"Pack your clothes and leave this house" my father yelled.
I was torn in between, I wondered where I would possibly go, because I don't want to leave my family no matter what, and without the aid of something useful, I was left with nothing but pain.
I clutched my dress and it was hard to get over the feeling, I looked at my father with my little eyes, and my little hands managed to pack my clothes before I left, even though I don't know where to go to. I hate to end up being a rogue, but do I have a choice, my father hates me and everyone else, with a lump in my throat.
The tears I have been trying to suppress managed to pave their way down my cheeks, I felt even more hurt, because my life has never been the same.
I walked away and I turned to my father, to see if he might have changed his mind, but he was still having that frown on his face.
I desperately want to go back to him and plead for forgiveness, but unfortunately, I can't bring myself to say a word, knowing full well that all I needed right now, is to be able to calm my nerves.
I sank in a deep breath before I left. The hot tears that had brimmed in my eyes finally paved their way down my cheeks. I was walking down the road when I noticed a woman.
A woman in a hood, she managed to bring down the hood, I stared at her, she was having striking green eyes, with rosy lips, her skin was so soft, that I had to check my skin which was now prominent with scars.
Her long gray hair managed to cascade down her back, she was so beautiful that I can't take my eyes off her. She smiled at me, almost like many people have stared at her in that awe.
She swirled her blue gown, which was embroidered with gold and rubies, I opened my eyes wide when I noticed the gold.
"Is.... is that real gold?" I stammered, unable to control the Shock expression.
But rather than answering my question, she just smiled and knelt to my height before she stared at me.
"I'll like you to go back to your house," she said, almost like she was trying to hide something dark and sinister behind her beautiful and calm facade.
"Why would I go back when my father doesn't want me home," I asked, feeling tired of everything.
She smiled, then she leaned closer and she managed to look at me even Intently before she whispered.
"You need to go back because there is a monster out there and that monster would kill you the moment you leave this place"
My eyes opened wide, and fear gripped me, I was feeling so scared and I needed to be sure that what she was telling me was true.
"Now go," she said.
That's how I scurried my feet back home, but before I could reach my destination, I heard a grunt, followed by a loud growl, I saw a monster.
He was having horns, with long claws, the skin was dark and burnt, he was huffing a breath of fire and his toes was very large.
His entire self was scary. I found myself moving back, I was feeling so terrified, but the monster in front of me kept on launching forward, I couldn't bring myself to say a word, a scream couldn't even escape my lips.
I didn't look back, I was looking at the monster's deep red eyes and I felt even more terrified while dragging my feet backward, not until I landed on a hard chest, I turned back to look at the woman that had told me to run now she was looking at me with a predatory gaze, she opened her mouth and I noticed long sharp canines, I was terrified.
Now I was trapped, she then leaned beside my neck.
"Ahhh....." I screamed at the top of my lungs, I was breathing so heavily only to find myself crunching on the sandy ground.
My eyes wandered around the environment, the place was dirty, occupied with tiny insects and the disgusting smell of rotten animals filled my nostrils that I almost gagged.
I noticed the big metal door was heavily secured and my hands were worse.
Due to the shock of my dreams, I oddly didn't feel the pain in my wrist and legs, which eventually allowed a husky growl to escape my lips.
I was feeling so much pain. My thoughts easily crept to the nightmare that had woken me up.
I'm confused right now, knowing the fact that my father was there and my body couldn't move to it, my heart was beating so fast, I needed time to think and to get the opportunity to overcome some of the problems I have been facing. I then heard the sounds of footsteps approaching even further. With a dreading feeling, I crunch even closer to the Rusty wall not knowing what to expect. my heart pained at the slight thought of what would happen.
I then came in contact with a woman, those familiar green eyes, the one I can't possibly forget, with a heavy sigh, I drawled back to the wall, with an uneasy feeling.
My heart was feeling so restless and I can feel it, she leaned closer to me while looking at me intently in the eyes.
Her eyes were darkness looming over it, her confidence and smile of mischief shows power and resilience, with a sinister smile on her face she came closer to me and loomed over me, her eyes were directly bored Into mine, her gaze was predatory, her fist was clenched which was the opposite of her face.
I wonder what was her intentions because she was looking at me with a predatory gaze that can kill and destroy, my heart was beating so fast and I was feeling so restless, I don't know what to do, but only let out a sigh of frustration. "Your husband is out there killing and destroying, or should I say, mate?" She said, then before I could process what she said, she was no longer there.
