Tales of temptation Greeds unlikely love

Chapter Tension in shadows (greed’s pov)

As I approached the corner, a sense of foreboding settled in. There, before my eyes, was Aurora, her fury tangible as she pinned my brother Lust against the wall. The air was charged with tension, and I knew I had to intervene before the situation escalated beyond control.

With swift determination, I moved toward Aurora, wrapping my arms around her to quell her anger. My voice, a steady anchor amidst the chaos, implored her to calm down. Slowly, her tension eased, her grip on Lust lessening.

As I cast a measured look at Lust, his nonchalant demeanor grated on my nerves. I posed the question that hung heavily in the air—what was he doing here? His answer was as blasé as ever, a casualness that belied the trouble he had stirred. "Can't a guy visit his brother now and again?"

My response was devoid of emotion, a cold stare that conveyed my displeasure. "No." It was a simple word, weighted with a wealth of meaning.

But the conversation wasn't over. I issued a command, my tone commanding in its intent. "While you're down here, tell the rest of our brothers that I need to talk to them."

Lust's response was as sly as ever, a smirk twisting his lips. "Oh, goody. Is it about our new sister you've added to the party?" His words were meant to provoke, and a surge of anger coursed through me.

With a voice that carried my frustration, I retorted, "Go." Lust vanished, his presence dissipating into the shadows, leaving behind a lingering sense of tension that mirrored the complex web of relationships and emotions that had woven their way into my existence.
