SYBIL

You’re Ben’s wife, correct?

CLAIRE

And, you are… ?

SYBIL

One of his students. I thought that I recognized you from one of the photographs in his office. You’re the author.

CLAIRE

Children’s books.

SYBIL

Still, you’ve been published. I’ve looked you up.

CLAIRE

Why?

SYBIL

I have been assisting Ben in his research and I had some time when he didn’t have anything for me to do.

CLAIRE

And, how do you assist Ben in his research?

SYBIL

Research for his novel. I do the background history to make sure it is accurate.

CLAIRE

I see. And, is that going well?

SYBIL

As you know, he’s run into some serious problems. I feel so bad for him. You must feel terrible too.
