Summer’s S**y Back with Two Babies by Danielle Griffin (Alick Hill ) Chapter 17

Chapter 17

“Andres said he didn’t hear Sanford crying.”

“Got it,” Alick replied and signaled Bill to leave.

Seeing that Bill still stood there, Alick was unhappy.

“Mr. Hill, Andres asked whether she would go back or not.”

“After a few days. I’ll go back to live after a few days.”

Sanford was really annoying when he cried. Summer would be crazy back then.

Seeing the strange smile on Alick’s lips, Bill hurriedly lowered his head and quietly left the office.

It was all dark in front of Summer’s eyes. When she was looking for a way out, she suddenly heard kids crying

from all directions.

She tried to comfort the kids while looking for a way out.

Suddenly, a bright light appeared in front of her eyes, and she woke up.

It turned out to be a nightmare. Summer’s hair got wet by the cold sweat.

The next second, she heard the loud and sad crying of Sanford from the corridor.

Summer’s expression turned serious. She got out of bed and hurriedly left barefoot. She didn’t even have time to put on shoes.

Her son!

At the door of Alick’s home office, Joan covered her ears in patience..

“Shut up! Stop crying!”

She came to get something from Alick’s place, but Sanford suddenly came out. He tore up the document she needed and wanted to pounce over to scratch her face.

This damn bastard born by Summer! If it weren’t for him, she would have become the distinguished hostess of the Hill family.

Before her hands reached Sanford, Joan felt a sharp pain in her face.

Joan turned around in anger and saw Summer’s enraged, icy face. Summer’s eyes were totally cold when looking at Joan.

Joan opened her mouth in terror and pointed at Summer with trembling fingers.

“Aren’t… aren’t you dead? Are you a human or a ghost?”

Four years ago, Joan saw it with her own eyes. Summer was pronounced dead by the doctor. With her body. covered by white cloth, Summer was pulled into the morgue.

After Summer was buried, Joan visited her grave with Alick.

To be exact, Joan went to mock Summer. Summer robbed Alick from Joan, so Joan thought that she deserved it.

But now, the woman who should have died for four years appeared in front of her again, alive.

“What do you think? Should I be a human or a ghost?”

Summer walked forward two steps as she saw Joan’s eyes filled with shock.

“Joan, if you didn’t do anything wrong, why should you be afraid of ghosts?”

Sanford stood aside to look into the distance. It seemed that he didn’t notice the movements here at all.

Joan’s anger was replaced by terror, and she managed to calm down, but she still took a few steps back.

“You! Don’t come over.”

Summer stood there still and watched Joan coldly when Joan was trembling.

It was totally quiet in the room. Joan’s expression eased when she heard Summer’s heavy angry breath. Her face was no longer that pale.

Summer was human.

Joan’s back was soaked in sweat, and her skin exposed outside got goosebumps.

She didn’t want to know how Summer survived. She just wanted to escape at this moment.

Joan stood still. Everything she did four years ago was a secret. And she paid those related and asked them to go to the countryside.

Summer was so angry because she pushed Sanford away.

Joan tidied up her hair, and she became arrogant again. She turned around to leave without looking at Summer.

Before leaving, she didn’t forget to threaten Sanford. “If you dare to say any nonsense, even Summer can’t

protect you.”

As soon as Joan left, Summer hurriedly came to check Sanford.

“Does it hurt?”

There were bruises on Sanford’s arm, for he stumbled and fell on the floor accidentally due to Joan’s push. Summer felt heartbroken when seeing this and drops of tears fell on Sanford’s arm.

“Why are you crying?” Sanford pulled his arm away from Summer and put it behind his back. “It’s none of your

business.”

Summer wiped her tears out, stood up, and asked Sanford to wait for her here.

The medical kit was still in the old place. She took the iodophor and swab out and hurried to the second floor.

Sanford was still waiting for her there.

Summer carefully squatted down and carefully dressed his bruises

Sanford wasn’t used to having someone stay so close to him, so he turned around. Summer had sharp eyes, and

she immediately found his ear bleeding.

Sanford said nothing, which made Summer blame and hate herself even more.

One day, she had to make Joan pay.

Summer felt a sharper pain when seeing Sanford get injured.

Summer was squatting there while Sanford was standing there. The scene was harmonious.

Summer put the used swabs away and was ready to go, but the corner of her clothes was suddenly pulled.

“There’s blood.” Sanford pointed to the downside.

The pieces of paper were stained with blood. Summer was about to check whether she missed any bruises on Sanford’s body and suddenly found that the blood was from her foot pads..

Her numb and cold limbs began to gain a little warmth, and she felt a dull pain.

The glasses broke when Joan and Sanford had a fight. Summer jumped with one foot and went to sit down on

the stairs.

Sanford stared at her for a while and suddenly turned around to leave.

Sanford was hard to understand, and Summer was used to seeing her like this. She carefully cleaned the glasses

in the wound.

It hurt.

There were noises. Sanford walked past her and walked away.

After Summer cleaned the wounds, she saw gauze around her hands.

Sanford had Summer’s slippers in his hands, and he was staring at her.

“Sanford, thank you.” Summer felt warm in her heart. She held Sanford in her arms and kissed him.

He twitched in her arms but didn’t push her away.

It needed time for her to dress the wound. Summer took Sanford to sit down on the stairs.

“Sanford, does your father know about that? Know about how she treated you?”  S~ᴇaʀᴄh the FɪndNovᴇl.nᴇt website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.
