Substitute Bride and Her Husband Who Disappeared

Chapter 127 I Want to See It Trending Tonight!

"Yes, indeed,"

One person nearby agreed enviously. "I haven't seen any other actresses' boyfriends willing to put aside their work to keep them company on set." With her face flushing red, the defeated reporter packed up her things and left.

In a coffee shop just outside the film set, a woman dressed as a reporter asked, "Luna, I asked the question you wanted. When do I get my payment??" Luna chuckled, pulling a check from her bag and sliding it across the table. "The agreed-upon one million. Take it."

The reporter inspected the check, and then tucked it away.

"Don't ask me to do something like this again. It was terrifying. If Young Master Firth decides to blacklist me, I won't be able to work as reporter anymore."

"Take it easy," Luna said, stirring her coffee with a menacing gleam in her eye. "Young Master Firth is in a good mood. He won't blacklist you. Remember to publish the news when you get back. I want to see it trending tonight!" The reporter nodded and hastily left.

Meanwhile, Vivian hid in Luna's room, her neck and chest covered in hickeys. She was afraid to go out, and just as afraid to stay alone in her own room.

She was scared and felt wronged when she thought about Alexander, but Luna had no patience for her emotional turmoil. Vivian had to deal with it alone.

As she was playing a game on her phone, a news alert popped up. She was planning to ignore it, but then she saw her own name.

Was it about her and Alexander?

She stopped playing the game and clicking the trending news. As she braced herself for what she might see, she was greeted with several photos.

The photos showed the backs of two people - unmistakably, Nancy and Charlie.

In one of them, Charlie had his arm around Nancy's shoulder, and they were smiling at each other, looking incredibly... happy.

In a fit of rage, Vivian threw her phone onto the floor.

"Why do I have to hide like a rat while that wretched Nancy takes my place and trends with Charlie?"

Thinking about Alexander's sleazy grin, she felt her chest tighten with anger.

And then there was Charlie - rich, reputable, and handsome. Even if he was gay, he was a thousand times better than Alexander.

Regret filled Vivian. She shouldn't

have let Nancy marry in her place et

Then, even if she couldn't be

lovey dovey with Charlie, she'd still be the envied Mrs. Firth.

Just then, Luna entered the room, bag in hand.

Seeing her, Vivian rushed over,

grabbed Luna's hand, and yelled, et

"Luna! Were Charlie and Nancye purposely flaunting their love on set, or?"
